I am rejecting this response becauseI am sending this on behalf of [redacted]Attached please find a copy of Convergent's May 22, correspondence to you, the Revdex.com of DuPont, WA, and a copy of the latest June 8, correspondence to [redacted] from Convergent.Mr[redacted] is still requesting assistance for the fake collection effort against him by Convergent Outsourcing, Inc.Mr[redacted]'s original request for assistance from the Revdex.com was submitted on 05/16/2017.Mr[redacted] states:The account in question was not and is not mineConvergent cannot demonstrate it was or is my account and the stated origin of the account in question is more than years old, March 2007, which I understand that even under the most stringent state collection laws, collections are to end after years, so it seem that Convergent is simply running after dollars it may not be legally entitled to collect from anyone.? The chronology of is as follows:? ? May 1, 2017: ? ? ? I received a collection notice from Convergent.May 8, 2017: ? ? ? I responded to Convergent disputing the validity of the debt and requested proof it was my account.May 18, 2017: ? ? Convergent responds stating I requested a fraud package from Sprint and include Sprint bills dated March 7, 2008, April 7, and May 7, None of the items demonstrate the account is mineNo copy of a contract or other ‘sign-up’ document is furnished.May 22, 2017: ? ? Convergent responds to the Revdex.com that “information for this account was requested to be removed from the credit bureaus on October 11, 2014.”May 23, 2017: ? ? I again request proof from Convergent the account is mine.June 8, 2017: ? ? I received correspondence from Convergent stating “This debt is valid, attached is verification of the debt” and the attachments are Sprint bills addressed to [redacted]? of [redacted]? dated June 24, July 24, and August 2014, with a different account number and telephone number for the other bills sent to me.? ? This is not my debtNeither Convergent nor Sprint can demonstrate or prove it is my debtI want my name and credit cleared of this issuePlease help me rectify this issue, remove this debt as being attached to me, and have Convergent stop contacting me.Thank you,? Convergent Outsourcing, Inchas investigated Mr[redacted]'s complaintOn 9/11/2015, [redacted] placed this account in our office to collect a balance of $on their behalf.Our company policy is to ensure that we are speaking to the correct party so that we do not disclose personal information to the
incorrect party.Mr[redacted] declined to provide any information as he believed this to be a scamConvergent Outsourcing onlycollect on balances placed in our office by our clientsWe do not attempt to scam consumers.Upon investigation of Mr[redacted]'s complaint, I have reviewed the phone calls on 10/20/2015,10/27/and 11/05/for this accountI have found,at no point in these phone calls was Mr[redacted] denied the ability to speak with a managerOn 10/27/2015, Mr[redacted] did advise the agent not to contact that number again and requested a managerOn10/27/the number [redacted] was placed on our "do not call list"The agent asked Mr[redacted] to hold while the supervisor became availableAt that time Mr[redacted] said he believed the call to be a scam and decline to stay on the phone.In response to receiving this information, the account has been closed from our office and returned to [redacted]We do not own the account and therefore, cannot make any guarantees.We will forward a copy of this complaint and our response to our clientIf Mr[redacted] has any further inquiries please have him contact [redacted]'s customer support at 1-877-380-6578, referencing the above [redacted] account number

On that call Mr[redacted] also requested no further contact from Convergent OutsourcingThe account was then placed in a cease communication status.We are sorry to hear you have had difficulty reaching usOn 12/21/2015, we did receive an email from Mr[redacted] requesting that we contact him or he would file a complaint.A supervisor from our office attempted to call Mr[redacted], however there was no answer.In response to this complaint, Convergent Outsourcing has suspended this account from collection activity in our office.We do not own the account there fore we cannot guarantee resolutionMr[redacted] may file a fraud claim with Verizon Wireless by visiting www.verizon.com/fraud or calling [redacted] We will forward a copy of this complaint and our response to our clientIf Mr[redacted] has any further inquiries, please have him contact Verizon Wireless directly to ensure resolution is found.We appreciate the opportunity to respond

placed in a disputed status and collection activity was suspendedOn02/09/2016, we mailed Mr[redacted] a letter requesting additional information in order to assist himwith his stated dispute.On 03/06/2017, Mr[redacted] emailed our office with additional information pertaining to his dispute.On 03/07/2017, we obtained validation of the balance owed from ComcastThe documentation of thebalance was mailed to Mr[redacted].03/2112017, Mr[redacted] emailed our office requesting that we cease communicationThe accountwas placed in a cease communication status.This account has been closed in our office and returned to our client, ComcastWe did not report theabove referenced account to the credit bureausWe do not own this account and therefore cannotguarantee resolutionShould Mr[redacted] have any further inquiries regarding this matter, he maycontact Comcast directly.We appreciate the opportunity to respond

Convergent Outsourcing Inchas received and investigated Mr[redacted] complaintOn12/13/15, Reliant Energy Services, LLC placed this account in our office to collect a balance ontheir behalf.Upon investigating Mr[redacted] complaint, I have reviewed all the calls on the 28th of January2016, the call
on 2/29/and 03/03/I found that none of the agents Mr[redacted]spoke with made a guarantee that the account would not report on his credit reportPrior to theMr[redacted] payment he was advised that the account was at the time frame that the accountwould be reported and if he made the settlement payment in two months it could still bereportedMr[redacted] was advised if he did pay the settlement we would remove our informationfrom the credit bureaus after the settlement had been completed.In response to Mr[redacted] complaint the account is settled and is no longer active in our office.We will request our information be removed from the credit bureaus.We appreciate the opportunity to respond

I am rejecting this response because: This response was not factual I have attached a copy of the 2nd letter that I sent certified and it shows that this company is in receiptYou are violation FCRA Section as I stated before I have no knowledge of this account you just typing a response on your company letterhead is not a proper nor legal validationI specifically requested that you provide me with ? a contract or documentation bearing my signature specifying the terms and conditions regarding this accountYour failure to do so is a violationIf I bring a lawsuit and I will if this matter is not properly resolved you will have to provide the court with the very document that I am requesting and if you cannot you will have to close this account and at best return it to the original creditorI will use this as proof as well as my other request to show your company is willfully being negligent.?

Convergent Outsourcing, Inchas received the additional information provided by Mr[redacted]The new telephone number Mr[redacted] has provided also did not locate any account in our system.Mr[redacted] states that on 6/29/2016, he received a call from us at a number of 559-515-Upon investigating this complaint, the telephone number was called and was not a number that was able to reach any party.On 06/30/2016, Mr[redacted] states that he received a call from 661-380-When calling this number we reached a Locksmith company.I provided the telephone numbers listed in this complaint to our telephony administer,who confirmed these are not phone numbers that are owned by Convergent Outsourcing nor have they been prior.The number in the message Mr[redacted] is receiving is a call ? back number for Convergent Outsourcing and we would like to assist Mr[redacted] in finding resolutionft is possible that calls are being forwarded from a different phone number entirely to one of Mr[redacted]'s lines; however with the information provided we are unable to determine the cause at this time.If Mr[redacted] receives any additional calls please have him track the dates of the calls, the time the calls were received, the phone number that appeared on the caller identification, and send them to me directly at [redacted]@convergentusa.com so I can have this matter investigated further.We apologize for any inconvenience Mr[redacted] may be experiencing in this matter and hope to find a resolution
