of$106.24.Our records indicate the account was placed in a cease communication status and phone numbers were removed on 03110/In our first phone call on 03/10/to Mr*** ***, Mr*** handed the phone to a female speaker who refused to verify or allowing us to speak to consumerShe told us not to callShe then terminated the conversationThe female contacted us a few moments later to reiterate no further calls were to be madeAt that point the account was placed in a cease communication status and phone numbers on account were removed after conversation with one of our managers

Convergent Outsourcing has received Mr***'s fraud disputeWe are sorry to hear that Mr.*** may have been a victim of fraud*** placed this account in our office on 10/31/2016,to collect a balance of $on their behalf
On 11/21/2016, we mailed a
validation notice to the address on file matching the address providedthrough the Revdex.comThis notice included Mr***'s right to dispute thebalanceTo date, this is the first communication we have received on behalf of this account;notifying us that Mr*** disputes the account as fraud
In response to receiving this information, Convergent Outsourcing has requested a fraud packet bemailed to the address Mr*** has provided in this communicationPlease have Mr***fill out and gather the requested informationOnce completed Mr*** may return the fraudpacket to ***'s fraud management team located in the directionsWe will request our informationbe removed from the credit bureaus

Convergent says they cannot find an account in my name, and they want an account number in order to proceed.? I do not have such a number, because I've never been contacted by Convergent in the first place.? I've only learned their name because they falsely reported a delinquency in my name.? They certainly reported a delinquency to Equifax, yet miraculously don't have a record of my account when it comes time to correct their mistake.? They ended their initial response by asking for my full Social Security Number.? As if I would simply give them my SSN when they have already fraudulently reported me to the credit bureaus and "cannot find a Convergent account in my name".? Convergent can contact me with a secure email, and I would consider giving them more information.? However, considering they have never contacted me in the first place, I will not hold my breath nowI have no faith that this company is even legitimate, other than the fact they responded to the Revdex.comUnless they take further steps to rectify this situation, the next contact they receive from me will be from my attorney
