They have made many many promises and appointments and never showed up or fixed the issues. When the issues are fixed and I have been reimbursed for the work I will accept their response

I am rejecting this response because:A signed contract and accepting my check as a deposit is a binding agreement in my eyes. For you to cancel the job due to your own mistakes does not sit well with me and the consumers you deal with on a daily basis should be aware of how you conduct business. This contract was done during your 50% off sale, the pricing I was given was 50% off the price you said the job should of been priced out, so it also should be known that you do not stand behind your advertising promises. The way you conduct business and the lack of professionalism is truly something that should be shared.

The customer paid $242.50 by credit card for the deposit payment; this is reflected on the signed purchase order contract. The $100 refund was processed back to the credit card used for the deposit payment. The check was processed electronically for the COD payment as written. The difference, the discount described above, was processed as agreed.

Per the customer’s request, the order was canceled and the deposit payment was refunded on July 18, 2016, in full to the credit card used for payment. Please allow up to 5 business days for the refund to post.
We regret the customer is so dissatisfied with their experience.As previously stated, our review found site related damage, however we have submitted for a second opinion. We will contact the customer as soon as we receive a reply on the claim.

am rejecting this response because: There is no apology, no acknowledgment of accountability for any of the mishaps that Empire Today and its employees just allowed to occur with no real concern or ownership.Aside from the refunded deposit, what have they offered by way of compensation for the 5+ week painful process that we endured, rearranging our summer schedule around and our home in complete disarray because of Empire Today's ineptness? Kindly refer to the attached email, thoroughly outlining the timeline of this complaint.

THE THIRD PARTY INSPECTION SAYS THAT THE CARPET HAS NORMAL WEAR. I DO NOT AGREE, THE MANAGER AT EMPIRE LEFT A MESSAGE SAYING THAT HE WANTS TO Repair buckling of carpet at no charge. If we are not happy with the results we can purchase new carpets at a discounted price. We already had the buckling repaired last year and it did nothing to help the excessive wear. We do not want to purchase the carpet again because the carpet and padding are of poor quality, we want a refund.
