I was quoted for a lower price only to be charged a higher amount later and refusal to adjust the price

Purchased a desktop and notebook Desktop was missing the proper cable for the monitor Then the mouse stopped working First notebook was lost by FedEx Second notebook arrived not working properly Dell said that they were sending a third notebook asap It has been three weeks, still no notebook This used to be a great company with fantastic customer service No longer Save yourself aggravation and buy somewhere else

Dell intentionally didn't process payment so they can leverage a new sale without a discounted price. I purchased a Dell computer using several one-time use coupons on a valid payment method and the company stated that the payment failed without justification. I followed up the my payment courier (PayPal) and they stated their were no issues with the payment being sent and that Dell needed to process payment. After communicating this with Dell, no one seemed to know how to process the payment in their end. As of 12/4 they randomly canceled my order without notice making my original discounted purchase null and void. They suggested resubmitting the order at full price. What occurred here is not only fraudulent but very dishonest to customers. I've read several other similar complaints. Looks like a scammy tactic in order for them to recoup on sales loss.
