Not sure I will ever buy Dell again After buying many systems over the years, I purchased a very high end PC at the Dell outlet store Now these systems are supposedly refurbished and tested and they sell them at a lower price than new because of them not being new My system had two hard drives, serial and solid state Now having bought several PC's new and even having built my own, I know there is sometimes a period at the start where you get used to everything I migrated my data and my programs over (which took quite a long time) and while a lot of the things about the pc were good, the load speeds at the start and during reboot were really slow At first, I saw the system was doing a lot of the windows updates but after those were done the system was still slow I investigated everything and finally realized that this "tested" system had the OS loaded on the serial drive and not the solid state This was really dumb Needless to say I was pretty mad ha

Dell promised gift card and dell advantage rewards totaling $as inducement to place orderDell failed to deliver card and refused to promptly resolve issue when brought to their attentionAll reasonable escalation paths were attempted to amicably resolve issue Customer Service and Customer Service management failed to resolve issueDell needs to stop fraudulently advertising gift cards as inducements to make purchases and then failing to timely deliver gift cards after purchase is concludedDell fraudulently advertises gift cards/credits will be received in to days and fails to deliver in that time period

From the day I received the Dell Inpiron Laptop, Series I had problems I have spent hours on the phone with tech support They said the level of service I needed required that I purchase a warranty agreement (over $300) which I did The computer continues to not function, I've spent hours (one time it was hours) on the phone with them They have wiped the machine three times, and still the same issues appear Now they are blaming Microsoft Office for my Outlook, Word, and Excel issues, blame the internet for my email and browsing issues, and blaming me for the overheating and popup windows, the applications that open by themselves, the corrupted index, and every other issue that has come up Pieces of application files appear in my personal file folders, documents move within the index to unrelated headingsI've taken images of these windows as proof, and was even on line with one of there reps when an applications file moved into a document file while she was viewi

My credit card information was fraudulently used for another person's order I have been working for weeks now to get this resolved and nobody speaks English well enough to understand and get this fixed My order # was [redacted] My credit card was given to [redacted] over the phone and should have been charged $ This charge was made and for some reason my card was also charged $fraudulently for order # [redacted] I have been speaking with [redacted] who is the manager of the sales rep that made the error at x [redacted] who assures me he has been in touch with credit dept and I was refunded for this fraud charge My bank has not been sent a credit and they have no way to reverse these charges until they do This is unacceptable and I need this corrected immediately

After having multiple issues with my laptop, and needing dell to send a tech to repair, another issue happened. I submitted it to them in the required fashion and asked them to just replace the laptop since so much had been wrong with it. After several days of nothing more than it was escalated'. I received an email stating that the replacement was approved and they were waiting on an order list to be completed. After several more days I receive another email asking if I would agree to send it in to be fixed. I refused on the basis of not wanting my unsupervised personal information on the hard drive available to someone I do not know, and informed them that I was filing this complaint. I got the response the they would submit it again for replacement and it would take 2-3 more days. I believe they are either lieing or dragging their feet on this. This is completely unacceptable.

I had a very difficult time getting warranty service The company took a long time authorizing me to send the computer in for repairs I spent two hours on line with a repair agent who attempted to make repairs over the phone I then spent another hour getting authorization to send the computer in for repairs I kept being asked for receipts (the computer was a gift) even though I told them that I did not have receipts They admitted that it was under warranty as stated in their own records Two repair attempts were unsuccessful Meanwhile, they claimed that it was now out of warranty I initiated the complaint well within the warranty period They finally authorized an additional attempt to repair the computer which was also unsuccessful Finally I was offered a refurbished replacement even though the computer was purchased new I was told that the replacement would be a better model However, two different offers did not include features that I have on my computer They

Dear Sir/Madam, I purchased a Dell XPS Multi-Touch Notebook computer last year when the company released their newest XPS computer with the highest configurations: 6th generation Intel core i7, solid state drive and multitouch QHD+ screen However, the computer is defective and the wifi has never been working properly since the day I have received itI called technical support and was told it was a software problem, which I was never able to solve I tried to ask for a replacement of this defective computer every time I speak to Tech supportBattery and charging problems and screen issues also occurred other than defective wifi cardI sent it back to Dell for Repair again and again and this computer has been in repair mode and thus not usable at all over the past or months within the warranty period Every time, I try to ask for a replacement they promise that they are able to fix it next time I send it to repairI have been giving them plenty of time and

I ordered laptops about a month ago, when these laptops arrived at our local FEDEX, Dell company called back the laptopsBut they didn't refund the money untill nowI called their company customer service many times, all the people said that they couldn't solve this problem, and then transform the phone to another dell customer service, and then transform again

lap top is two years old second motherboard is bad, dell fixed first one service tag# [redacted] dps ref # [redacted] one year later motherboard is bad again and they won't help me I figured first board they put in was faultyUsed the lap top about times its only used as a back up feel I am stuck with a laptop that was faulty

I purchased a Dell 17" Laptop AMD Quad Core 8GB RAM 1TB HDD in October of from QVC - for about $months later the hard drive failed, RAM died and the mortherboard failed as well Dell wouldn't do anything to help me, other than to tell me to buy a new laptop! Well I did, I bought a 17" HP to replace this POS - I was told by Geek Squad if my laptop was at least years old they could see one of these things happening, but at months to have all three fail at the same time is unheard of STAY AWAY from buying any Dell laptops, they take your hard earned money and do NOTHING to assist you when their product fails

This was my first DellI thought I was purchasing a quality computer at a good priceThe advertising on TV said that the battery was no longer a heat problemThat's not true, I cannot have the compter on my lap it gets so hot, but there's more; I called tech support because the cable slips off the computer, the battery is never fully charged and does not last the four hours as advertised, the keys at the bottom, especially the M key has to be hit hard to get it to work properly, the three choices at the top right where you should be able to close and diminish or lower the page do not workWell you get the pictureI was told that even though when I called last month my one year warrantee did not include hardwareWhat? It's not even a year old I am a Senior citizen on a low budget and now I have to purchase another computer, this one has too many issuesI am very disappointedSomething should be done about advertising

Purchased a new computer week ago It crashed because of Winand backup would not reload Tried downloading software from site and found the site does not work Customer support from overseas is the absolute pits How an American company would SUBJECT their customers to this kind of service is an absolute disgrace I spent days on the phone switched to no less than people on a hardware issue and finally was just disconnectedMy first and last Dell product

I called customer service because I got a virus warning on my desktopi have a warranty on it.(that's the only reason I called) I know how to take care of these thing properly myself but, I just want to see how tech support would handle the situationWithout going into great detail about what happenedHe went into my "cmd" and ipconfig to check my internet connection( I let him access my pc) he said I was infected and others are using my internet connection to access the web and don't do any online shopping because of keyloggersIt seemed to me it was a scare tactic to get a tech to my house and charge close to $to "fix" the issue and put in a firewall (i already have a firewall)...while everything he said was true, He left out that the "established" connections where my pc apps running and nothing more, im sure this has happened to A LOT of people that don't know computers well and pay for that service for no reason

I purchased a new desktop computer that was under warrantyI was refused the option to return the item for repair after several attempts multiple calls and emails to resolve matterThe warranty ended as of December 6th with no resolveI took the computer to a repair store after having the computer looked at he said I was sold a desktop box with laptop components insideThe expandable slots on the back we're un-usable fakeNo slots insideThe computer was using 100% of the processor without even being used just sitting there on the counter all of the computer processor was being used leaving nothing for applicationsThere for useless to even useI feel they made a fraudulent sale due to the fact all components in computer we're laptop components but sold to me as a desktopI would have never purchased itNot to mention this was a gift

I purchased DELL XPS in Summer I have not reached a year as yet and I have had problems with charging and batteryThe XPS purchase for myself was from Micro Center and I have had to send it twice to DELL for repair related to the computer not recognizing the charger and will not chargeI only had the XPS one month before my issues startedThe seconds XPS was purchased for my College StudentShe had a issue with charging the laptop within months and since she was not in the same state, I asked her to purchase a off brand charger and that seemed to helprecently she came to the problem where the XPS like mine prior , it would not chargeDells customer service is severely lacking and I had to resort to FACEBOOK to even get a response from them, It took weeks to coordinate sending back the equipment to them I was then told that there was going to be a chargeI have copied the information belowI am absolutely LIVIDI have wasted close to

I bought an Alien ware gaming laptop last year with a year warranty My son started having problems so of course the computer was sent in for repairs The problem is that they have had this computer for over a month now and finally after telling them I need the computer back because my son needed it for school they decided that they would give me an exchange Well new I’m getting the run around on getting the exchange! What part of I need my son computer are they not getting I told them he was taken online classes and I need the computer last Wednesday (August 16, 2017) due they had had it for longer than they should have Here it is August 21, and I still do not have his computer so I had to go and buy another computer due to the fact Dell does not have good customer service or care about their customers I paid a lot of money for this computer and for the year warranty for them to have kept the computer this long I should not have had to go buy another computer fo

I am an extremely unhappy customer right now. I purchased an Inspiron THREE WEEKS AGO. I normally steered clear of Dell, but was despirate as my Toshiba was dying. I need it for work. I work on my computer EVERY DAY. At the end of the day, Office Depot had a Dell in stock. I purchased it. Now I wish I had stuck to my guns and waited until another brand was available. Almost out of the box I started having issues. First a vertical white line appeared on the screen. I did not immediately call Dell as I was under deadline to finish a project. Then today when I turned it on, nothing - No lights, No screen, No fan, No Hard drive - nothing. I was forced to call support. After two infuriating hours, I was told that the only recourse was to send the computer back to Dell for repairs. NO - it has customer's personal financial data on it. There has to be another solution - a locally approved repair shop. Send me the parts and I will have them put in. NO you don't want to do that

I will never purchase computers, printers or any other electronics from Dell Computers ever againIn I purchases computers for my office and had no problemsToday I called to purchase a new printer that was compatible with my Inspiron I made the call at 9:AM this morning and it is now 5:PM and I have just finished upThere customer service is horribleYou cannot understand a word they say and the phone line was not clearIt was hard to hear and I had to repeat myself time so they could understand what was saidThey put you on hold about every minutes to check on something and you stay on hold each time for about minutesAfter I got done talking with the salesperson he sent me to a secondary verification person would started all over again asking me the same questions I had just gone over with the salespersonThen after hours in second verification they told me they will call me in days to go over the terms and conditions with yet another person and departmentI said NO! I have no more time to spend on thisEmail me the terms and conditions and we will do it now or I will cancel my order! They did send over what I needed and I sent it back and so I hope I get my orderIt was the worst customer service experience I have ever hadPLEASE LET DELL COMPUTERS KNOW THEY HAVE LOST A CUSTOMER FOR LIFE! NEVER AGAIN!
