So I ordered an Alienware Laptop from the dell website on 12/12/for the total of $2,(this was cash straight from my paypal account)The video card that I ordered was a NVIDIA(R) GeForce(R) GTX 980M with 8GB GDDRand this card added $to the total of may purchaseWell, when I received my laptop and took a look from the NVIDIA Control Panel then it states that the video card I have in my laptop is a NVIDIA(R) GeForce(R) GTX 980M with 4GB GDDRSo this means I only have a 4GB 980m when I paid $extra for an 8GB 980mNot only that but the laptop had issue to where it would just shut off by itself and issue with the integrated graphics completely stoppingAlong with some diagonal line that appears fully in some games and web pages I visitAnd some weird KERNAL errorI contacted dell support (first time of many) and told them about the issue and customer support confirmed that my system says it has a 980m with 4GB GDDRand not the one that I orderedSo I asked

I have returned my computer to Dell three times and they tell me it has been repaired and when I get it back it still doesn't workThere is no way in Hell they fix it and on the way back to my house it screws itself upThe wireless card doesn't workI have to wire it to get internetThe last person I talked to said he would personally repair it to make sure everything was correctHis email address is ***@dell.comI think they are trying to wait until the warranty has expiredI'm very tired of having to go to Fed-xIt's been in repair longer than I have been able to use itI want a new computer and a very very big apology

I've been a loyal customer of Dell for years, but this past year has been a disaster dealing with Dell In August 2015, I purchased a new computer along with several other items and was told that I would receive a Dell sales team credit of 10% of the purchase price along with a 10% Dell gift card for opening credit account at that time (a total of $for each - $420) When I tried to redeem the sales team credit in November 2015, I was told that I was a liar Why make up something like that? When I gave them the sales person name, I was then told that the sales person was mistaken by giving me that deal
In February 2016, I purchased a computer case for $and paid for it via a Dell gift card ($100) and the rest by Dell credit ($30.19) I returned the case on 3/(free returns & shipping) I have not been given a complete refund for the return that was received by Dell in early March I received the Dell credit to my account, but not the gift card balance

Ordered from Dell multiple times in the past, and each time I assume I just picked the unlucky strawThe web support is abysmal at bestI have been tossed around from one support agent to anotherJust ordering my second laptop took about a month - not shipping, rather simply getting the order into the system, and processed
The website rarely works properly, which means having to switch between web browsers to avoid errorsTwo business day turnaround for someone to not even read an email requesting assistance, but simply 'copy & paste' a generic response

I purchased a brand new laptop from Dell.com last NovemberWhen I first took it out of the box it only worked for a very short time ( about min ) and it completely frozeI contacted Dell and they had me do a complete restore to factory settingsThis worked and the computer worked for a couple of weeks and then it froze againI again contacted Dell and they had me try several unsuccessful things and then they again had me do a Restore to Factory SettingsThis problem has continued on now and they have had me Restore to Factory Settings timesIn September of this year, The computer completely stopped working and Dell attempted to repair over the phoneAfter many emails and several phone calls they finally agreed for me to send it back for them to repair itI just received my repaired computer this past week and after only hour of use it has again froze and I have no way to do anything as all it has is a blank screen and makes a loud beeping noisePlease note that this is

I ordered two new Dell XPS computersOne hard drive failed after monthsI was given a time-consuming run-around when I tried to get it fixedVery bad experienceI am not likely to buy any more Dell productsToo bad, since I had been a long-time customer

I have recently placed an order on Dell.com on Monday, November 28, At the time of the purchase, I couldn't remember my account information so I checked out as guestI know that when signing out as guest, a cr is assigned to me at the time of the purchaseWhen I finally logged into my account, it said the cr is associated to another accountThe day after I made the purchase, I received an email from Dell and it was sent to my email, but addressed to *** regarding a recent contact to customer serviceThe following day, I got another email from Dell saying that they could not change the shipping address and listed a different contact phone numberSo someone managed to have access to my information and tried to redirect my package to them at my expenseIf they had access to my order, they could have access to my credit card and personal informationI have reached out to Dell numerous times and I've gotten the run around and transferred to a lot of

In December I purchased Dell Inspiron laptop computers About a month ago one of the laptops started making a clicking noise when the screen was opened and closed Since than, the screen has become harder to open and eventually the hinge on the right side of the laptop became loose The laptop will not close properly without bending the plastic on the back The power and wireless are also affected by the hinge being loose
I have called Dell support and reported the issue I was informed that this is not covered by my year warranty and referred me to the out of warranty support
I have researched online and have found several instances of people experiencing the same problem with the Inspiron laptop
This is not a damage issue The laptop has not been dropped, kicked or otherwise misused or mishandled There is a flaw in the design
Dell Technical Support is of no use as they insist that it is not covered by my warranty

I have a Dell Inspiron laptop that I purchased in November The system would not boot up and when I tried to run reset iand recovery I got an error messageI called Dell customer serviceI explained the problem and booted up the computer and went through several diagnostic steps with the customer service repShe must have told me at least times during the conversation that she was there to help me resolve the problemI asked her to quit telling me that and to actually assist me with the problemEventually she determined that the laptop could not be repaired and she said she would have a waybill prepared and sent to me via email Instead of a waybill I received a phone call rhe following day from a different service repThis rep said that she would be shipping me a hard drive so I could repair my laptop myself I explained to her that I'm a senior citizen with cataracts and this is not an acceptable solution I again asked for a waybillShe said she would have one pr

the computer has alot of issues a called and explain all of them and they only fix one of I told them about the wifi and the memory issues I send the computer for service and again same issues I ask for a replacement computer and they told me that is not possible that I can take the computer for repairs againthis is not acceptable this is my work and college computer is not a cheap computer I want a replacement

I attempted to place a computer order with Dell Inc, different times I worked both online and with a live customer service representative I was using my financing through their Dell Financial Services also They continually misrepresented where the process the order was, what needed to be verified, and I was told a different story by every representative that I talked to or chatted online with The third try I requested a supervisor and I confirmed multiple times with them that they would contact me and ensure the order was processed This never occurred I do not recommend doing business with Dell

I have owned Dells for a long time However, the last one I purchased was defective I sent it in for services and it was returned to me without complete fixes Problems they fixed in September started re-occuring in October There are problems with the drive and the screen I need this computer for my work and my safetyI have contacted Dell via email They use an automated response telling me to call a number to identify the problem I have attempted to reach someone at that number and the person I reached did not seem to understand English well and hung up on meI finally reached a woman I dealt with prior by emailShe was helpful and said she would make arrangements fo have my lemon Dell fixed I have not heard from her or received the mailing lable and approval to mail the Dell in for repair

I bought computer laptop Inspiron in Dell Outlet online by Sept 14th 2016, this laptop was a certified refurbished, I received the laptop and stared use it, however, days after, the laptop stop work, and never started again, I called in times to dell support center and they said me that the best way to solve it is return the laptop and refund they will refund the money, I received a label to send by UPS and sent the laptop by Sept 26th 2016, the received the laptop by Sept 28th 2016, but I havent been receive the money back, I was called on daily basis asking by my refund and they never provide a response, all time is saying that they will send a internal email to Finance team or Returns team to ask for a response, and also they said that I could take business days more

Dell advertises price match with their competitor products but fails to deliver on this advertisementThe details of the price match can be found here: ***
In multiple instances, Sales associates at the number or chat link provided, will inform me that they are unable to match a competitor's product because the "Hard Drive Type" is differentThe only "key spec" for the hard drive that Dell says has to match is the capacity
Dell associates do not return phone calls or emails when pressed on this issueOn several occasions I have been placed on hold only to have my call dropped

I have had several problems and the worst customer service in an attempt to simply get an AC adaptor cord for my Dell laptop I won't go into all the details here, but I received the wrong cord twice (after about hours on the phone trying to get the right one) before finally receiving the correct cord I was in direct contact with the same agent several times over as he was good enough to give me his extension He knew the situation and that I had cords to return to the company With that knowledge, he sent me one form for the return of both cords I emailed both him and another person that had sent me a follow up email about me returning the cords to ensure that this one form I received was enough to ensure that I got a full refund for BOTH cords I did not get a reply, so assumed that it was ok I sent both cords in original packaging taped very well together with the required purolator form on the outside and immediately emailed Dell with the tracking number once I dropp

The product description for the printer I puchased stated that the following media types are supported by the printer, "Envelopes, labels, plain paper, coated paper, recycled paper, cover paper" ***
Today tech support advised me that the maximum weight paper supported is lb paper (copy paper) not the heavier cover paper (card stock) After being transferred to multiple people, I was told Dell could do nothing to make this issue right as it was more than days past the purchase date

I am writing because Dell will not honor a Student Offer for a $Promo eGift Card if you purchase a Dell PC for over $
We were given a flyer for a Free $Dell Promo eGift Card at the new student orientation for the *** ** *** *** where my son is a freshman this fall I needed to purchase a laptop computer for my son and am a long time Dell customer, so I was very excited about the free $gift card I read the flyer very carefully, several times, before making my purchase to ensure that we qualified for this free gift card
I went to the URL on the flyer *** and found a laptop that I liked but I was not able to upgrade the memory on it One of the reasons that I am a long time customer is that I like the fact that Dell allows me to customize their computers to meet my needs So I went to Dell.com, found the exact laptop and upgraded the memory from the default GB to GB This PC also came with a free TV, which I really didn’t nee

I purchased a Dell Precision March 30, On April 10, I purchased an extended warranty from Dell for that computerOn September 3, the motherboard diedDell replaced it on September 5, weeks later the motherboard died againDell suggested I replace the computerI spent almost $10,for the original computer and wanted to replace it for like-for-likeI work on feature length movies that require certain criteriaThey couldn't give me Windows OS but did replace it with Windows OSThey couldn't replace my firewire because that technology was no longer availableI originally purchased Microsoft Office Professional and they would not replace thatI had a Creative Sound Blaster Recon3D in the original computer and they could not replace thatTold me to take it out and have it installed in the replacement computerI asked for the 19-in-media card reader that I needed for my sound recordingThey said it wouldn't be available until December I

I purchased a Dell laptop new, along with a four year accidental damage protection plan At the time of purchase I saw no language on the website that stated I must also extend the basic warranty to four years for the plan to be valid for its full termThe website allowed me to make the purchase, and Dell's warranty status system tells me the accidental damage plan is still active until January 7, When I called to try and get a damaged charge cord replaced I was transferred repeatedly and told that without an active "basic warranty" that my accidental damage plan was not valid and could not be honoredIn fact I was told several times that the warranty their system shows me having could not have been purchased in the configuration I have it in, despite the fact that their system obviously let me purchase it that wayAfter over an hour on the phone, being transferred and put on hold repeatedly I asked to speak to a supervisor and was put on holdNobody ever picked up again

I tried to order one inch 4k tv from dell.com on black Friday of dell.com failed to load and by the time it did the website said I ordered tv's I tried to cancel of the orders and was unable to even after calling there customer service just hours laterthe packages didn't even ship for another weeki was told I would be able to return them though as soon as I got themhave been trying to return them now for over months still haven't gotten my money back from them much less compensated for spending over hours on the phone with themnever will I order another product of service from dell
