had purchased a Dell XPS and had it for over yearsA Month after I purchased it, my track pad started popping outSince it was a minor issue I kept goingAfter a a couple of years the track pad started popping out even moreI finally decided to get it checked out and I found that the battery was defective since it started leaking and bulging under the track pad ever since a month after I had bought itMy kids use this for their homework and thankfully it did not leak causing any hazardI called Dell and told them that this was a defective part that they should have recalled and or replaced without any chargeI had been put through support personnel all in IndiaThe first guy was very dismissive of my issueHis manager then came online and he was pretty condescending saying that all batteries would leak and bloat up towards the end of their lifeI told him that I buy a lot of dell machines both for personal use and at work and I have seen battery losing its power towards the end but never have I seen it bloating and expanding like thisHe seemed to be amazed that I haven't seen thisI got a call a couple days later from escalation specialist and he restated the same thing and said they will not replace their defective product since I was void of warrentyMy HP lap top I bought at the same time is still working as a carmI was pretty amazed at the attitude of this company towards their customers who call about their defective product that causes a hazzardThis is the same thing like the Note 8s exploding battery issueIn many cases samsung had replaced them but Dell was nickel and diming their customersThis will be the last Dell I would purchaseIm going to go HP! Dell Inc refuses to fulfill our agreed upon written contract when I purchased a Dell XPS Personal ComputerBefore finalizing my order, I specifically asked the Dell sales person in an email to CONFIRM that I will receive the ADVERTISED $Dell Advantage Rewards (DAR/DAP)I have recently found that original email confirmation and contacted the sales person, only to be told they can't resolve the issue to contact the Dell customer service (order support) that never returned any of my earlier email inquiriesI've attempted to email their customer service, order support and sales support, numerous times by their internal email system and they have NEVER responded to any of my emailsWhen I call them by telephone I'm placed on hold for very long periods and then told that they can't resolve the problem and to contact other Dell departmentsDell support mechanism is useless
Additionally, my original order to purchase the computer resulted in my credit card being charged double the purchase price and it required me almost two hours on the telephone to finally resolve that problem

Gift card was not credited to my account as was stated by dell representative *** *** I have a copy of the chat session where he said he would apply it I have spent in excess of hours trying to resolve this since November I also have a copy of the email that I sent asking when I could expect the gift card to be applied I have spoken with customer service, gift card, returns department, and dell financial and no one is able to help me I have repeatedly asked to speak to a manager and was told I could go no higher

The computer I use the Inspiron Model screen constantly flickers as you look at the screen, then the screen will flash go away and come back....I have spent about hours on the line with Dell Tech and hours myself going thru Dell self help screens to no avail.......This computer is now a paper weight as I use my ASUS computer which is years old and works better than this Dell computer
My wife Inspiron Model constantly put a message on the screen that the adapter charger etc....we return this computer once and was sent a replacement and the same thing is happening
Dell use to stand for quality.....no more

Purchased Dell TBdock from 3rd party on Amazon, used with Dell laptop under full warranty Spent months with Tech Support to resolve issue No fix has been found, this is a known issue with this dock (TB15) Dell has removed it from sale, a replacement model (TB16) is planned for January-February I was told by Tech Support in an email that regardless of where I purchased it, Dell would refund/exchange it to make sure I have a working model I just spent two hours on the phone, talked to different people including supervisors in various departments, no one is able to do what I was promised in the email I was told there was no higher manager to speak to, and that what I want is not possible
