Dell updated my account for a subscription service with someone else's name , address and visa number Every weeks or so, they try billing my service using this information I have contacted different people to figure out how someone else's billing information got into a subscription service and could they change it no one helps They tell me they can't change it and to go online and update my personal account settings But the only information in my account settings is my personal information, nothing having to do with the person whose name they put in my account or her visa number In summary, Dell is trying to make it appear as though I am trying to use someone else's credit card for a purchase, something I had no involvement with And they won't fix it

Unfortunately there has been a security breach at Dell and my personal purchase information has been collected I am consistently receiving phone calls from people from India who are trying to scam me They know my name, the exact computer purchase and very detailed information about me I am very worried about my safety These individuals call me almost 3-times a day for -days a week This is extremely frustrating and are causing me

The retailer redirected my order to their location after a complete saleThey did not inform me of the change and did this via the shipperOnly after I questioned it they provided the info that they cancelled my order due to a price errorThere may have been an error but they violated their terms of sale, which states after shipping the product is the buyers propertyThey have yet to reimburse me and the order still shows active and shipped in their systemThey have not cancelled my orderI believe they will claim that I refused delivery but that is as they changed the destination to a non-existent address long after shipping

3/11/purchased new Inspiron 15, series laptop from the local Best Buy for FULL PRICE
3/30/Started having issues with laptop being very slow on start up and not behaving correctly (days since purchase), I contacted Best Buy who passed me on to Dell as it was a manufacturer warranty issue I called Dell and was issued First Service Request issued and was promised a replacement of a new, never owned laptop
4/18/the replacement arrived at my home (I now suspect this replacement was refurbished item, as Dell is now obsessed with replacing it with a refurbished laptop)
5/18/(days since arrival) the replacement laptop had a Dell update and then crashed and never turned on again, I contacted Dell and was issued Service Request #
5/27/After many hours talking and emailing with Dell I was sent a box to ship laptop #back to Dell for repair
6/3/the "repaired" laptop was shipped back to me (I was told the Magic Board was replaced)
