I purchased "Dell Inspiron i3542-602BLK 14" Windows Laptop Intel Celeron N2GB Memory / 32GB eMMC flash memory with Office Personal for One Year"
I waited two months to get a Microsoft Office activation key that worked
Two days after receiving the activation key, the power does not work, even with a new battery/cord What do I do? The computer came with a postcard, no manual, nothing
Will I call customer service where it takes two hours to say " I will mail you a new activation key" and then get phone calls and emails for a month saying "the activation key is coming" Do I need to work an hour day to get what I paid for?

I have Express Item Code ***This laptop has a faulty USB portA USB adapter broke off inside of the USB portThis is due to faulty workmanshipWhen I called on 3/15/at 21:00, I spoke with *** (Emp# ***) who informed me that the service would be a paid serviceWhen I was escalated to a paid support option, I was told by *** that the motherboard would need to be replaced at a cost of $This is unacceptable for a product made by a company with Dell's reputation for quality and support

Bought computers during a tax holiday*** ***, Customer Service, in August said Dell would honorHe said the process would take 6-weeks and that a credit would then be issued for the sales tax of $I emailed *** in January about thisNo responseIn February filed Claim #***Received call week of 2-22-and Dell Rep said they would not honorSpoke to Supervisor & same response

I purchased a laptop from dell on 6/30/ Since that time I have had many issues with the machine I even sent it back to the factory and they replaced a memory card but I still had the same issues with the computer "freezing" for no reason I spent over hours on the phone with IT support Additionally, I was instructed to purchase a flash drive and have another computer nearby so they could fix the problem over the phone After another day wasted, the problem remained I was informed they would email or call me by today with instructions on sending the computer in for an exchange After receiving no reply, I contacted customer support and requested a refund They informed me it was too late to provide a refund I feel that they kept me running through hoops in an attempt to stall me and prevent me from obtaining a refund

I had my dell xps stolen while traveling I purchased a refurbished dell xps from Dell I ordered the version with the fingerprint reader which was shown on my pre order sheet that was sent to me to check to make sure it was correct I also asked whether whether it came with the Samsung SSD hard drive vs the Toshiba or other because reviews and tests showed it was up to twice as fast It was confirmed that was the hard drive I would receive
The laptop I received didn't have the finger print reader or the Samsung hard drive, which I latter learned seems to only be available in Europe due to supply issue or cost
I called Dell and said order problem to the voice system Spent the next hours speaking to different representatives pinging from department to department, the same departments multiple times I called two more times and was hung up on I didn't raise my voice, call names or be rude, I just kept pressing for a real answer instead of transferring back t

In November, 24, 2016, I ordered a computer, Alienware R4, in Dell website and the order id is ***After I used it for several days, it was found that the computer couldn’t reach my expectation of its performanceSo I contacted with custom service of Dell to check in Dec, 11, Because of the fault of Dell itself, the right video card NVIDIA geforce GTX was replaced by another one, AMD RXby accidentThe difference of performance of the two is about 35% and the former one is an advanced video card newly released in The staff of custom service agreed to change the computer Alienware Rafter my communication with them for many timesThe order id of the changed computer id is ***But when I received the new computer in Jan 20, 2017, I found this one was just like the last one with the same errorI couldn’t understand itDell is one of the fortune enterprises world-wide and it has been founded for yearsThe slight fault has been m

I recently purchased a Dell Inspiron series laptop from Dell, and used it for about monthsAfter half a year of use, the left hinge started cracking and the computer started to split apart from that sectionI contacted Dell because they state that they fix manufacturer defects and the problem I was dealing with is quite obviously a manufacturer problem
I called Dell multiple times and was hit with a series of unhelpful representativesEach person that I spoke to started accusing me of mishandling my laptop and that I needed to be more careful with how I carry and use the computerThis is ridiculous, because I have never dropped the laptop and it has been sitting on a desk for most of the time I have owned itFinally, one representative told me I would be able to send in the computer to Dell to have it fixed under the warrantydays later, I get an email from Dell telling me that they won't fix my laptop because the damage is considered customer inflicted damage
I find it ridiculous that this kind of customer service goes onI had them sent back the computer, which was another hassle in itself (they kept telling me that the computer desperately needs repairs)I'm done ordering products from this company

Hi,
I'm having some issues with charging my computer My computer occasionally tells me that it does not recognize the wattage or type of the AC adapter and that it will not be able to charge the battery This error message always goes away However, this time the message did not go away, and my computer will not charge If it is plugged it, it works, and it just says "Plugged in, not charging"
I called customer support, and spoke to someone for over an hour He tried a bunch of different trouble shooting techniques Unfortunately, we were unable to resolve the issues He then told me that I could send my computer in for repairs since it is still under warranty I purchased my computer months ago
Unfortunately, I am in the process of moving across the country to begin my *** program I will be driving from ** to ***, and I leave on Friday I do not have a place to live yet in *** I plan to stay in a hotel or AirBnB, but I do not know where I will

I have had one problem after another since I originally purchased a brand new computer from Dell between Octber and November My original purchase was returned because of issues with the keyboard and the screenExtra letters would show up when I was typing, usually "e's" and "o's" seemed to be the culprits which produced extra lettersSome letters even skipped or didn't show up, but left a space insteadThe browser window would often just disappear for no reason at all The touchpad was so crazy and sensitive that I had to turn it offThe cursor would ski all over the placeI'd be in themiddle of typing a paragraph, then suddenly the cursor might be in the middle of another word in a previous paragraphAt first, and for a while, I couldn't tell if it was just me or the computer in questionAfter going back to an older computer, I realized that my typing skills had not diminished and that the probem was, in deed, the computer, a Dell Inspiron Signature EditionWhe

I will never purchase computers, printers or any other electronics from Dell Computers ever againIn I purchases computers for my office and had no problemsToday I called to purchase a new printer that was compatible with my Inspiron I made the call at 9:AM this morning and it is now 5:PM and I have just finished upThere customer service is horribleYou cannot understand a word they say and the phone line was not clearIt was hard to hear and I had to repeat myself time so they could understand what was saidThey put you on hold about every minutes to check on something and you stay on hold each time for about minutesAfter I got done talking with the salesperson he sent me to a secondary verification person would started all over again asking me the same questions I had just gone over with the salespersonThen after hours in second verification they told me they will call me in days to go over the terms and conditions with yet another person and departmentI said NO! I have no more time to spend on thisEmail me the terms and conditions and we will do it now or I will cancel my order! They did send over what I needed and I sent it back and so I hope I get my orderIt was the worst customer service experience I have ever hadPLEASE LET DELL COMPUTERS KNOW THEY HAVE LOST A CUSTOMER FOR LIFE! NEVER AGAIN!

When I placed my order on dec 20, I was told that I should have everything before the new yearSo imagine my surprise when I logged in and checked my order and saw that the estimated delivery date was Jan 2, I called my sales person *** *** at the following contact number ###-###-####;***When I spoke to him on dec 23, I was told that he could see on his computer that my order would be shipped on dec 28, So I left it alone until that dateOn dec when I logged on to check my order status it showed still in production and the estimated delivery date changed to Jan 3, So I gave it until dec to see if the status would change and nothing changedI called my sales person again and he again said he can see that the order is ready for shippingAfter I spoke to him I logged back on to see my status and see if I could see the update he had and my screen shows st

Purchased a Dell Inspiron Gaming Series laptop a few months ago
The left hinge has given way: it is completely separated from the base of the laptopI have little doubt that this is a design flaw with the laptopA quick google search shows many, many other consumers with the same issue Apparently, Dell will not fix this as they have classified it as "wear and tear" I have owned and used dozens of laptops during my career - but this is the only one that has had this issueCoincidence?
I will not be using Dell's products any more and will not recommend them to anyone in my network

I have emailed the Dell and the person who was suppose to handle the processing of my replacement computer when I returned from my deployment five times and have not heard anything back except "we will look into this matter and reply in 24-48hrs"

I purchased a dell laptop from dell official websiteWhen I purchased it, their website said the laptop is a new oneBut when I received it, I found there is a scratch on itSo, I contacted dell customer service and I was told by dell customer service that what they sold to me is a refurbished oneI told Dell the laptop should be new and why they gave me a refurbished oneAnd then Dell quibbled that the computer I received is new and they defined the laptop I received is in Typeand Typerefurbished
“Type - These systems were never used, canceled orders, or returns that were never fully bootedPreviously ordered new systems have been tested and repackaged by Dell Outlet.”
“Type - These systems have been fully refurbished, retested, and repackaged to meet all original factory specifications"
Their customer service has admitted the laptop is their Typeand TyperefurbishedHow they can still claim the computer they sell and I received is new?! In my opinion, it is

The left hinge of my laptop (Dell Inspiron 5577) started clicking when closing and got progressively worseI contacted Dell support before my year warranty was up and they told me to send it in and it would be fixedAfter sending it in, they claim the damage was my fault because the case is coming apart at the hingeBut that's what happens when the hinge fails internally - it starts pulling the plastic casing apart every time it's opened or closedSee identical problems multiple people have had with this and another model which shares the same body design:

On 07/3/I visited Dell online to purchase a TV I found an LG Inch 4k Ultra HD Smart TV with model # 65UHUHD TV The price on line was after a savings of I saved the TV to my Cart and paid with my dell preferred account The final total was including tax After submitting my payment the "Thank you for Your order" screen displayed, so I printed it as a receipt It clearly show that I purchased LG Inch 4k Ultra HD Smart TV with model # 65UHUHD TV Later that day I checked my email and realized that the email confirmation had the wrong TV listed It showed LG Inch 4k Ultra HD Smart TV with model # 65UHUHD TV I immediately called Dell customer service to inform them of the discrepancy Upon discussing with Dell they explained that they were unable to find the TV I purchased for 999.99, but instead the price was listed at I explained that I had a printed receipt and that I could provide screenshots of my screen

Dell had a promotion on their website for a video game, Super Mario Kart for the Nintendo Switch, for $The link to the product with this advertised price was live on Monday morning, at approximately a.mWhen I tried to purchase it, the price appeared in my cart as $Customer service did not provide a satisfactory answer as to why one price was advertised and why they attempted to charge me a different price
