After contacting Dell multiple times with the same issue (one that had been "fixed" by them multiple times already) they are refusing to replace my laptop when it will not function as advertised, and I have only owned it for four months, well within their warranty

I purchased a Dell Inpiron Dell, Purchase ID No *** My order was confirmed on 1//16/Shortly after receipt of the laptop, I began noticing serious performance issues Specifically, the computer was slow and pre-installed Internet Explorer was slow and unable to launch Java appelet chatsI contacted Dell Technical support to address the issue, they remoted into the computer While I was unable to get Java working properly, for a short time, the computer seemed to be working more quickly However, Internet Explorer, which is what Dell had pre-loaded, seems to be intermittently slow The Java software does not work at all When I contacted Dell subsequently, they told me my only option was to pay another ~$for software support This is outrageous on a computer that is only a few weeks old (and which never worked properly) They clearly sold me a lemon, and they should be willing to get it into basic functional shape A member of the public who is ignorant abou

I have gift cards I purchased from Dell totaling $in These are prepaid physical gift cards and do not expire I have never used them However, when I recently tried to use them on the Dell website, the gift card numbers were invalid A quick google search will show that there are many upset Dell customers who have encountered the same problem, yet Dell has been very slow or unresponsive in resolving this issue I had already contacted their customer care support center several times already about this issue and each customer service representative, who appear to be overseas, has a different reason and will not re-issue the gift cards with a working gift card number

The laptop I got as a gift for my girlfriend started having audio issues about a month agoIt was what I feel like now is a pretty common no audio device detected error with the white x and red circle over the speaker in the toolbar
