I originally purchased my Dell Alienware 17Rlaptop in Jan for $1,480, with the knowledge that Dell, HP and other major laptop companies provide driver and software updates to their laptops, free of charge, through their websites (This was my 5th personal laptop purchase over years.) All of the companies I have purchased from provide free use of their diagnostic tools, drivers and downloads, manuals and other items that are basic in nature and require the owner of the laptop to perform those functions and updates themselves All of the updates are the responsibility of the laptop owner and the wisdom or skill to use them If mistakes are made, it is on the owner, not Dell, HP or the other companies With that being said, when a customer, like myself, purchase our laptop, we expect that company to carry out their part, which is to have their diagnostic tools and support centers that actually work for their computers This is a part of the initial decision in purchasing t

I paid for an extra two years of warranty on a Dell Server, and Keep your Hard Drive protection to match, and Dell refuses to replace a drive that their software has identified as bad even though I still have several month left, because of something about the type of drive it is

I have dell outlet orders which were placed on September, they were all shipped and then recalled back to Dell by Dell Verification Team, all these packages were returned to the shipper "Dell" and not delivered to my addressAll these orders were not refunded by that time, it has been over months and they are still not refunded yetI've contacted Dell Verification and CARE team for numerous times and they know my situation very well, ***@dell.com is in charge of my case, ***@dell.com, ***@dell.com also knows the case very well

I ordered (and paid for) a Dell XPS with GB of RAMI received a Dell XPS with GB of RAMThe line item information for the service tag of the laptop I received states it has GB of RAMHowever, I checked the memory and it is only GB of RAM
I have tried to resolve this issue in the following ways:
(1) I chatted with a representative who told me I would have to call Sales & Returns about the issue
(2) I called Sales & Returns and spoke to a representative AND supervisor who told me that I could not exchange the laptop with the incorrect specifications because it wasn't "Damaged" I could only return it and then purchase the correct laptop againBUT - I purchased the laptop when it was on sale and it is now over $dollars more expensive They could only accept a return, refund me my money, and make me pay MORE for an item I already purchased (unless of course I manage to find a sale between now and then)I would have to try Technical Support to reso

I ordered a computer monitor from this business's websiteThe product webpage promised a $Dell gift card would be sent to my email if I bought that particular monitor as part of a promotionThe fine print said that the gift card would be sent to me within 15-business days of when my purchase was confirmed
The monitor was shipped and I received it without issue, but I never got a confirmation email saying I would get the gift card, so I emailed Customer Service asking them to check if they were going to send the $gift card, and they said my purchase was "100% eligible" for the gift card, so I was satisfied and waited for the gift card to come

I returned a Laptop to Dell that was days out of warranty to replace a key (Q) on the keyboard The communication from Dell was that the Laptop was beyond repair This allegation is false The Laptop was working fine other than the missing key before it was returned
My complaint is twofold First of all the customer service provided by Dell is terrible to say the least I have been contacted numerous times and the reps are difficult to understand and have been very difficult to work with Secondly, the repair service provided by Dell is terrible as well and lacks customer focus My intent is not to have my computer repaired but to warn others and to ensure no one wastes $on a Dell piece of equipment again

I have used Dell Computers since the early 90's and up until now have had nothing but a great experience with them Until nowI purchased a Dell E525w all in one Laser Color printer It has been slow, print quality poor and overall a very average product The issue started when I had an error code that I couldn't find on line I have tried for the past hours to get tech support in the United States Each time I call I am routed to India, where they ask the same questions, read their script and put me on hold for minutes This is unacceptable

Several months ago my Inspiron started making loud beeping noises when turning on the power and then the computer would not turn onThe computer was shipped back to Dell and the hard drive was replaced with the notification that the problem was fixed A couple months later the same problem occurred Dell had to re-evaluate the issue as if they had never heard from us The computer was sent back to Dell again This time the LCD cable was replacedI was told the problem was, again, "fixed." Now the same problem is occurring and Dell wants to start all over again because "they can fix it." On 12/20/I ordered a computer from Dell, the shipping date has kept slipping out further and further, I purchased accessories in anticipation of getting this device, so I don't want to cancel it otherwise I am out the money I already spent on accessories
