On March 9, 2017, we purchased identical laptops for our incoming employees One began work on March the other on May 19th
On June 5th, we submitted a service request online for the first one, service tag #***, which had been randomly shutting down without warning, with a full charge, while plugged in, for a couple of weeks We were asked to run diagnostics, which we did The very next day, the laptop repeated the same behaviorSo we contacted Dell again on June 15th asking for a full replacement
March 2: laptops are ordered from Dell
March 20: Laptop #went into use, service tag #***
Early to Mid May: Began having random shut off events, no warning, auto rebooted with no error popups on reboot
May 30: submitted ticket to Dell support under warranty
June 5: Received notice to perform diagnostics on my own
June 5: Continued to have issue, call to support had me do diagnostics with tech again over phone who then performed other tasks (ticket notice for

I bought Dell Laptop Inspiron 5548, and only using as a secondary laptop for occasional home browsingBut suddenly noticed a sound while opening the lid and identified that it was not closing all the way also found the right corner edge is popped open
When I checked online, there are many such EXACT issue reported for many consumers and based on that its clear that its a product design defect

I am here by requesting DELL to address this issue and either replace or repair the laptop, otherwise I have to proceed with further action which should cover all the damages caused to me and my business
Please let me know as soon as possible to address this issueI do not have warranty but its not anything that falls under warranty and am not ready to take care the cost to repair which is due to a design issue by DELL

The problem is that I purchased a very costly product from Dell for my business, have it for days before software and hardware issues occur, send it in for repairs and a prolonged wait for backordered parts to arrive, only to have it returned with a corrupt solid-state drive, and now sitting on my shelf while waiting for a New Like-For-Like order # to be processed for the last weeks, beyond of their stated 10-business day turnaround time, with no explanation as to why the prolonged wait or when it will arrive
