Review: I have been a loyal customer to checkngo since 05/23/2012. I have made my payments on time. I lost my job in september and I was down to my last 2 payments of 380.24 (sept) and 380.24 (oct). I was unable to pay and I am still unemployed getting no income. I called them and told them about my situation and they act like they didnt care and they said I have to pay or go to jail. I hate being threatning. I cant help what happened to me. I got down to 2 payments left and this happens to me. Checkngo should be willing to work with their customers in heavy time of need.Desired Settlement: Checkngo needs to work with me. I am a loyal customer who was fired from her job and now has no income. I have two payments left totaling 760.48 I recieved a letter saying I need to pay that by 11/30/2012. Ok where in the world am I gonna get that money from? There is no way for me to get that!!!! Checkngo needs to stop being nasty with me and work with me. They can even drop the last 2 payments and let me account be settled! That is my desired settlement. Void the last 2 payments!

Review: Let me start with I have been a customer of Check-N- Go for years with excellent customer service. Through management changes and a constant change of new employees. On Monday, November 18th I went in to pay my loan and asked an associate to please send the other loan through to my husbands account. The employee of Check-n-Go stated that she would hold the check until Tuesday, if I promise to come back on Tuesday before closing, she stated it looked bad for her store if she sent a check through. I said that would be fine, On Tuesday, November 19th, I went into the [redacted] store as promised, to find out that the young lady processed the loan to the banking institution. This resulted in an overdraft in my banking account, upon paying the overdraft fee on my account (30.00) and an over draft the same at Check-n-go (35.00) I still patronized your business. Upon entering into your establishment the same young lady who did not keep her promise, discussed my personal business regarding my loan in front of other customers, stating the following What the problem with you paying back your loans on time, I verified that I have been dealing with Check-N-go for years and I havent had a problem, she stated youve been dealing with Check-n-go , Not me In redirecting regarding sharing my business in front of other clients and her disrespectful attitude , she shoved my paper work to me and asked me to leave the building. She continued to make belligerent comments once I asked her for the district mangers number. I felt humiliated and felt that in sharing my personal business was in violation of Privacy Act of 1974.Desired Settlement: Refund of both overdraft fees with a formal apology from Check-n-Go.

Ms. [redacted]s,
Review: I am a recently single mom who just recent had to get an installment loan from Check N Go while I was waiting on my bonus from work and it was not that I really want to go that route but I had to for the short term. I took out a $2100 loan knowing I was going to pay it off the next month. I called in and spoke with a representative and he explained that I would not be penalized for earlier pay off and that I would only be responsible for what was due on the principle at that time. The loan documents map out the payments at $195.94 for every two weeks but do not show the payment amount that goes to the principle and interest from that payment. I asked the representative and he stated that some when to both so when I go to pay off the loan after two payments of $195.94. The pay off amount is $2168.00 plus a $10.00 processing fee. My mouth about hit the floor. I could not believe that none of the $195.94 (total of $391.88) that I had paid on the $2100 loan when to principal and that I actually had to pay more than the original loan as the pay off. Trust me, I was in shock. This is clearly NEVER the way to go even in a emergency situation. I feel like this company feeds off people who are in dire need of money for emergencies and take advantage of people. It is clearly ridiculous that they are allowed to do this. I will never go this route againa and I hope that my complaint with not go unnoticed and will help other people from being taking advantage of this way.Desired Settlement: I would like some type of refund or at least some of the payment back that I belive is only fair that some of the $391.88 should have gone towards the principal of the loan

Review: The Business Check N Go is trying to collect a debt of 300.00 dollars. [redacted] who is the person that is in charge of this collection has been harassing me at my place of employment in order to collect this debt. He called me at work on January 15th and 16th, 2013. The number left by [redacted] ###-###-####4 is not a number I can call to from my place of employment. I work at an elementary school. I have attempted to reach them when I get home, unfortunately by the time I get home they are gone for the day. On January 18th he contacted my job twice, once at 8:42 am and once at 10:15 am...I immediately asked my fiance to contact him and advise him that I could not continue to receive phone calls at work. My husband was not able to speak with him, however he did speak with a different representative by the name of [redacted] #404 from [redacted]...He stated that he was the mediator and that he could not provide a direct number for [redacted]. My husband then explained the problem and [redacted] stated that he would follow a complaint. That same day at around 2:00 pm I received another call from a different mediator [redacted]..I then again asked that the phone calls at my work stop...I ask her to please contact me at home and provided her with my home number which she already had as well as my email address. Today January 23, 2013 [redacted] called my work again. I advised him that I have already asked several times to please not contact me at work. He stated that quotas a matter oDesired Settlement: I want them to stop harassing me at WORK!!!!. I want them to stop calling me at WORK!!!!. I want them to stop threaten me at WORK!!!! I know I have rights and I know that once I have asked to not contact my place of employment they are not suppose to call there again. I feel they have violated my rights....

Review: In June 2013, both my boyfriend/healtcare provider each applied for our own loans using our own individually owned checking accounts at [redacted]. I applied first. Then while my boyfriend/healthcare provider was applying, he didn't realize at the time that the bank statement in which he was taking the bank account information from was actually my bank statement that I accidentally left on the desk. Since I do the online bank reconciliations for both accounts, he had no knowledge that the account information he was entering did not belong to his account. On June 25, 2013, while reconciling my personal account, I noticed the deposit of $300.00 from Check N Go for my loan. Since I was previously notified I was approved and signed the required loan papers, I wasn't surprised to see it. However, what I was surprised to find a little further down the page was there was another deposit made to my account for $300.00 from Check N Go again. I opened the transaction, only to find the deposit was actually for my boyfriend/healthcare provider. There's only a couple of problems; 1) my boyfriend/healthcare provider was never requested to provide the mandatory documentation to verify any of the information he provided, as I was 2) he was never informed he was even approved 3) Check N Go never provided and loan documents for him to sign, where as I had to print, sign, scan, upload, and email back to Check N Go the completed loan documents and 4) these funds were not to be deposited into my account, which started as an error on my boyfriend/healthcare providers behalf, yet it has not ended or continued as his error to date. My boyfriend/healthcare provider contacted Check N Go that morning and informed the gentleman he spoke with of the error made. My boyfriend/healthcare provider was instructed that in order to correct this error, he would need to go to our local store with his current bank statement showing his current bank balance, a voided check, and a valid ID, not to mention that he was told I was to accompany him so that Check N Go could verify that I was the owner of the account in error. At the same time, it was also requested that a copy of the correspondence requesting all required verification information be forwarded to his email, along with copies of the approval confirmation, and loan documents as well, as he never has signed them. The gentleman again instructed him that he would be able to request and receive all this information at our local store when making the account corrections. That afternoon on June 25, 2013, we went into the local Check N Go located at [redacted] The situation was again explained and the information my boyfriend/healthcare provider was told to provide was available for verification, but much to our dismay, the representative informed us that the account information we needed corrected, could not be changed, nor could she provide the proper correspondences, approval confirmation, and loan documents could also not be provided since the loan was done online, and that we would have to call into Check N Go to have this information mailed out. Problem being, the corrections were needed to be done immediately. I was scheduled to be admitted into [redacted] on July 8, 2013, for approximately 2 weeks to have a Brainwave Analysis done. I suffer from brain damage, with almost 50% of my brain cover in scar tissue (dead brain cells), causing me to suffer from seizures from Epilepsy Disorder incurred from a severe head injury in 2006. I am permanently disabled and have been considered so since 2008, only to have my health worsen. Since I severely damaged the emotional aspect of my brain, any stress or when I get upset, I have problems with continuous seizures, which for the most part causes me to end up in the hospital. With this in mind, any transactions not previously prepared for and taken care of, my boyfriend/healthcare provider would not be able to access my checking account to make sure that there was no problem with my account becoming overdrawn, which it would if Check N Go were to proceed with the ACH Debit transaction against my account, as neither of us have any user authorization rights to each other's accounts. Even after explaining this situation to the representative, she continued to say there's nothing that she could do to correct the bank information. Finally, my boyfriend/healthcare provider said he was just going to go ahead and make the $300.00 payment, or as I believe he said, return the loan funds, but he was then told he could not do that. Loans could not be returned, and his loan documents indicated that there was no early payoff allowed. That's when I asked how she new what the loan documents indicated, since she had earlier told us that she didn't have access to that information, how does she know what he signed and what he didn't sign. I was told that she could view the information on her system, but that was all. Of course, I did not believe her at all. There is a such thing called "Print Screen", so she very well could have provided us with the information we requested. Ultimately, we left the store quite upset. Upon returning home, my boyfriend/healthcare provider again called Check N Go. Repeated the whole situation, and again was told to go to the local store. After informing the representative on the phone that he already had and what had transpired, the representative said that the only thing she could do to assist him was move his payment due date from July 15th to July 22, 2013, as she was only allowed to postpone payments for 7 days. Our next move was for me to contact [redacted] to see what could be done on our end. I was told that unfortunately since it would be an ACH Debit being processed, I couldn't do anything or file a claim until after the actually debit was posted to my account, which of course would be too late. Now here comes July 15, 2013, and since the payment of $300.00 was postponed by Check N Go until July 22, 2013, I was not expecting to see my account in the negative when I returned home on July 19th, except Check N Go did not only process the payment due of $300.00, they debited my account for 2 ACH debits for $300.00 each on 7/15, then again 1 ACH Debit on 7/19 in the amount of $300.00, at this time totaling $900.00. Naturally I contacted my bank immediately and filed claims on these debits, and [redacted] reversed the charges. However, I was not reimbursed the overdraft fees, which at this point were already at a total of $140.00. Then to only surprise me once again, Check N Go processed another ACH Debit against my account on 7/31/2013. Once again, [redacted] reversed the debit after my having to file another claim, and again, they did not reimburse the overdraft fees, which were now totaling $175.00. These fees are still outstanding and have yet to be reimbursed by [redacted] or Check N Go. When Check N Go attempted the first three ACH Debits, I personally contacted Check N Go and informed them that at no time are they to make any attempts to withdraw any funds from my account. This was not my loan, I never gave any authorization for any ACH Debits for this loan to be processed against my account, that the one loan I did have with Check N Go in the amount of $300.00 was the only one time lump sum payment authorized to be processed against my funds, and that if Check N Go had done their job properly and sent the approval confirmation indicating that the bank account information be verified for accuracy, this could have been avoided, not to mention the correct account information we requested be changed on my boyfriend/healthcare provider's loan. Then they have the nerve to make another attempt on 7/31/2013. [redacted] posted the reversal on 8/2/2013. I inquired with [redacted] what I would need to do to close the account. Naturally, I had to wait for all my direct deposits to finish coming through. So, since I couldn't do that right away as I was expecting more direct deposits within days, I could only place any future ACH Debits from Check N Go on stop payments, which I did, with the fees fortunately waived by the bank. Just when I thought Check N Go had finally followed my request, and given up, on 8/29/2013, Check N Go went around the ACH Debit process, and submitted an electronic check (#134533) in the amount of $125.00, which caused another overdraft fee. Again, after filing a claim, [redacted] reversed the check charge and this time they also credited back the overcharge of $35.00. That was the final straw. The problem now was, [redacted] could put future stop payments against Check N Go if they were now submitting electronic checks, as they would have no way of knowing what the check number would be. I really wanted to close the account, but my Social Security Disability payment was due on the 3rd of September. I was now backed into a corner. So once again, my boyfriend/healthcare provider each made a phone call to Check N Go to further instruct them they are not authorized in any way to make any attempts to withdraw any funds from my account, and is there anyway to make the corrections to my boyfriend/healthcare provider's banking information on his loan, only to be refused again. Then we offered to mail in a money order, only to be informed that too was not except-able. Now what? We've made several attempts to correct the error in bank information, and tried to make payments in other forms, only to be turned away. And to think, I had absolutely no problems with my loan. Except now they will not allow me to loan again. I tried just for the heck of it. Finally on 9/19/2013, Check N Go submitted another electronic check (#[redacted]) in the amount of $125.00, in addition to an overdraft fee of $35.00 on 9/20/2013, and since I didn't catch it right away, as I was extremely ill, my account incurred an additional overdraft charge of $35.00 on 9/26/2013, totaling my account to be negative $190.40. All due to Check N Go. Much to my dismay, this time when I contacted [redacted] to file a claim against Check N Go, the bank denied it this time. So, I was not able to retreive my $125.00 that was released to Check N Go, nor was I able to have the bank charges they caused reversed in the amount of $70.00. Now, [redacted] decides they can place a "Debit Hold" on my account, meaning no funds would leave the account, but that I would be able to receive credits. So I opened another checking account, and when each remaining credit was received, I called the bank and the claims department transferred the credits from the old checking account to the new one. Why I was not advised of this before is beyond me, but at least now Check N Go has no way to access any funds from my account. However, I have lost a total of $365.00 in bank charges due to Check N Go and their refusal to attempt to resolve this matter in any fashion. All they continued to do was give us the run around and cause me funds on a loan that didn't even belong to me. We have tried to resolve this issue in more than one way since I found the error on June 25, 2013 and we are now in October. I want my bank charges returned to me. This ongoing situation has caused me extreme stress with resulting in additional doctor care. I have had an increased amount of seizures due to all the stress brought on by Check N Go, and my inability of not making all my bill obligations because of this. Statements and doctors notes available upon request.Desired Settlement: Refund of all overdraft charges made to my account caused by Check N Go and their refusal to resolve this issue, and to continue to withdraw funds on an account that they were not authorized to withdraw from. These fund can be submitted to the same account number at [redacted]. The account remains open, but no debit of any kind from any merchant/vendor can be processed through this account, only credits will be processed. Statements and doctors notes available upon requests.

Review: This company shares your banking information with multiple payday loan places that are fraudulent. They will share you routing and checking number and cards. With this info then multiple places debit your bank account via electronic check or debit/credit card in the amount of around 30.00 every month and multiple times under different names. You have never talked to them, signed any agreements with them, or authorized the charges!!! When I called and talked to them they said if you do not elect to opt out on the share info when you get a l oan with them, they will share your banking info. I tried to call the multiple payday loan places and the phone goes to voicemail and says the messages are full...I had to close my checking account to stop the charges. When I offered to pay via money order only they refused. They want my account info again ONLY!!!! And will send me to a 3rd party collections agency.Desired Settlement: I owe them a loan for 230.00 currently and am willing to pay without giving my account info only I would like all of the fraudulent charges returned to me and applied to my existing loan and they should STOP this practice immediately and remove my info from whereever they shared it!!!

Review: I took a $700 dollar cash advance from the company called in on the 26th to stop the refinance charge of $ 205 dollars and told them I wanted to pay my loan off on the 31st when the refinance charge was due they told me they were not able to stop it I called back in on the 2nd once the refinance charge was cleared and asked them to remove some of the fees because now my 700 loan was showing I owed 940 they told me they could not do that I would needed to of called in on the 24th which being a holiday they were closed early. So I requested to speak to a supervisor to see if they could do anything he told me no I needed to pay the 940 I said so basically im paying you another 240 for nothing. I got told that is how it works and he asked if I wanted to pay my loan. so I make the payment then they ask me if I want to refinance again. every time I refinanced from this company it was a average of 150-200 more added to my loan balance. which I do not understand since I was not taking anymore money. and was paying the refinance charge each time. I will NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPNY AGAIN! I will find other means If I find myself short money. This company is a trap and does not help people get out of it they make it harder and harder each time you refinance.Desired Settlement: I would like some of the fianc charges returned since I have been trying to pay this off since the 26th. I feel I should not of had to pay a additional 240 dollars when I had not even signed those refinance papers yet that would of been due on Jan 15th

Response:
Dear [redacted]
I apologize that you have been experiencing issues with your loan with our company. I would like to first address the questions regarding refinancing the loan agreement with our company. We offer a refinance as an option to pay the fees associated with a loan only and to move the full balance to the following paydate. While this does not normally include additional funds, sometimes the option to borrrow additional funds in addition to the original agreement is available.
If you review the loan documents that were provided to you at the time of Esigning for the agreement, you will see the Right to Cancel the loan is listed in the contract. This area specifically tells you that you have a 3 day time frame to provide the Notice of Cancellation if you intend to cancel the loan. Because you contacted us after this time, we were unable to assist in cancelling the loan agreement. This is not a flexible part of the contract, and your options were provided to you at the time of signing the loan agreement.
If you have any more questions please let me know.

Review: I filed Chapter 13 due to my resent divorce and my debt load was becoming overwhelming. I became protected under the Chapter 13 federal law in early May 2012, I am still receiving harassing phone calls from a guy named [redacted] from check n go telling me he is suing me and I will pay for my lying ways. I am ordered by the court to repay all debts, no relief from any debts. My trustee distributes the money how they see fit. I informed Check N Go via letter and by phone of my situation and I continue to get harassing calls from the following number ###-###-####. The last call was on June 14th at my job, and I was informed that if I keep receiving debt collection calls at work that I will be relieved of my duties. I was asked to leave work early and take no pay for the remainder of the day until my personal affairs were in order. This company has caused me finical hardship and loss of pay. Very unprofessional and they are breaking the federal law that protects me. This is bad practice on their part. I want compensation for my loss wages due to Check N go's negligence and harassment.Desired Settlement: Lost wages due to continues calls to my employer.

Review: I have recieved multiple automated calls per day to my mobile phone at various hours of the day and night. I have not used nor requested any services from Check N Go and have not recieved any solution or communication back from the Check N Go upon complaint. I have even listed a complaint and notification that I would be submitting Revdex.com Complaint via the companies website with no response. This has been a hassel and waste of time and money for the phone usage. There is no reason to call multiple times to see if someone wants a payday loan. It is preditory and should be or may be illegal.Desired Settlement: I would like the calls to stop and to know the source of how they got my number as well compensation for the wasted time.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I am glad to hear the arrangement has been accepted. Before I confirm my acceptance into this payment plan, I need to make sure these 2 pieces of information are correct:
1) After the amount listed prior is paid in full, the accont will be considered "Paid In Full" and, as such, no further collection activity will commence at this point in time or any other point in time in the future, with regards to this account.
2) The account will be listed as "Paid In full" on any credit reporting that may have been done. While payment arrangements are under way, any credit reporting will show the account as being paid On time and in full.
Please confirm these two pieces of information are correct and we will proceed with the payment arrangement. Please also inform me of the methods of which I can make payments on this account. Thank you for your time.

After all payments are received and posted as to what has been agreed to below, your account will be considered (Paid in Full).
12 Monthly Payments beginning on 9/6/2012
Review: I applied for a loan online. I was denied with no specific reason via e-mail, only to later learn online loans are not offered/available in my state. I SPECIFICALLY "unchecked" the box allowing my information to be shared with other parties. Since I applied I have received over 100 phone calls in less than 2 days from shady companies trying to make a loan with me. Most importantly I checked my bank account the following morning and $200 was deposited from "[redacted]". I did not apply for any other loans with any other companies and specifically not with this [redacted]. There is no answer when I have tried repeatedly to call the number listed on my bank statement. After further research [redacted] is a scam that initially deposits funds into peoples bank accounts without authorization then begins deducting "payments" that are often 5-8 times the original deposit amount. I have had to close this bank account and place a freeze on my credit to prevent further fraudulent action by this and other unknown entities my information was provided to.Desired Settlement: I demand a settlement in the amount of $1,500 as compensation for the time, emotional distress and other damages related to this violation of my privacy and fraudulent behavior on the part of Check N Go. In return I agree to not pursue further legal action against Check N Go.

Response:
Mr. [redacted],
Thank you for contacting Check 'n Go.
We apologize for the experience you have encountered. However, your do not share request on 11/8/2012 was honored by our company. Please note that other lenders might have shared your information. No settlement will be given.
This Check N Go in [redacted] WI took money out of my bank account without my authorization. I was late on a payment... but I had never gave them permission to take it out of my account. This feels completely wrong. I am now negative in my account. Not happy. And when I called the store the lady was completely unhelpful. You would think they at least would have mentioned that to me when I had taken the loan out.
Review: Check n' Go online application process has kept my personal information on file even though I never went through the application process. I filled out the first page and I never hit "Apply Now". From that point I wanted to delete all of my information. My SSN # was greyed out and I could not delete it all. Also my banking info etc cannot be deleted either. I do not want this information shared with anyone. I read their privacy statement and you can choose to opt out of having your information shared with affiliates etc. Since I did not go through with the application process this should not be happening nor should my personal information be greyed out and unable to be deleted on their online process.I called and spoke to a[redacted]. This was the number provided to me through their http://www.checkngo.com/pdf/privacy.pdf privacy statement. I told [redacted] I never proceeded in the application process and my information is stuck and cannot be deleted and there is no reason why it should be like that. [redacted] proceeded to tell me that I can opt out of the sharing privacy information once I get the denied or approved loan. I told her I NEVER went through with the application process just filling out the main form. SHE HUNG UP ON ME! I tried calling back and it went straight to the nearest store and it was a Directors voice mail of the [redacted] location. I left a message and have not heard back. I want this information removed from their system and not to be shared with ANYONE. However, it is hard when the information they provided both email and phone number and they hang up on you or do not contact you back. This is unjust and I want this resolved.Desired Settlement: I want this information resolved as they give you the option to opt out of sharing your information; however, the telephone number has representatives that hang up on you and do not let you do so. The customer service email [email protected] has not gotten back to me either regarding this information. Neither has the director at the [redacted] branch. I want my information deleted from their file and to not be shared with ANYONE.

Response:
Dear [redacted],
There is a Save and Retrieve function of the application on our checkngo.com website. This is so applicants can begin the application process and return to where they finished off in the event they have to gather more information or needed time to consider finishing the process, etc..
Your personal information would only be shared with our affiliates in the event you fully submit an application and either Opt In or Opt Out of the policy you read online that you refer to in your complaint. I would like to ensure you that while your application is in the Save and Retrieve status, your personal information will not be shared. We keep your information stored in the Save and Retrieve status for 25 months and it will then be deleted from our database. If you would like for this information to not be stored in the Save and Retrieve status, then you must choose to Opt Out of the privacy policy and submit the application you began. In the event you are approved and no longer need our services, you can decline the Terms and Conditions of the approval and your application will be withdrawn.
In regards to the CSR you spoke with named [redacted], I personally reviewed all the recorded interactions and can confirm that the [redacted] did not intentionally disconnect the call with you. It appears the call connection was lost and [redacted] proceeded to try and confirm you were still on the line and if so stated she could not hear you any longer and recommended you called back in if you could hear her. I apologize if you had the impression [redacted] hung up on you, I can understand how this upset you and cause additional frustration in your situation.
Should you have any further questions you'd like to discuss, please call our Check 'n Go Online customer service line at [redacted].
Thank you,
Check 'n Go

Response:
Thank you for contacting Check n' Go. Per your agreement with the DDO yesterday, 7/11, the loan will need to be paid as stated in loan agreement. Once your loan goes to writeoff, you will have additional payback options, however you will not be able to loan in the future with Check n' Go.
Review: I took out an online installment loan with Check N Go. I had an online loan with them in the past that allowed me to extend my loan after the 4th or 5th payment, in order to be able to skip a payment. The balance keeps rolling over. I am being charged an EXHORBITANT amount of interest, which I believe is illegal to do. I currently pay them over $660 per month via direct debit bi-weekly from my checking account. I had recently contacted them via phone and inquired as to whether I could extend my loan, change my biweekly payment amount or work out a payment arrangement. I have already made 8 payments on the current loan. The customer service reps keep telling me they can't do anything with my loan, that "only the system will be able to tell when you have a refinance or a payment plan available" and continue to tell me they see the system doesn't have anything available. When I have asked to speak to a supervisor, I am told they will tell me the same thing; that "the system" dictates what happens on my loan. An email I received from one of the customer service reps in response to my questions said I should let my loan default, and then I would receive contact about other arrangements that can be made. Here I am trying to do the right thing and work out a payment agreement and NOT default on my loan, but they are telling me they can help me ONLY IF I default. This company is charging folks exhorbitant fees. I am paying over $6000 on a $1000 loan. I have paid them over $2500 of the $1000 I borrowed and they won't do ANYTHING to help me be a good customer and arrange to pay off my loan at a lower payment over a longer period of time. They are in essence asking me to DEFAULT on my loan first before they will help me, which will in turn affect my credit rating. I am screwed either way.Desired Settlement: I want for Check N Go to be able to assist me with a lowered bi-weekly payment or extend my loan so I can skip a payment, without having to first default on my loan, (which will affect my credit).
