Review: A male Representative of Check n go called our office and asked to speak with an employee. Our Office Administrator explained to the caller that the employee does not work in the office. She asked the caller if the call was a personal call or a call having to do with our business. The caller made a remark about the call being a business matter with a person. Our Office Admin explained that we don't take personal calls for employees who do not work in the office. The caller questioned whether we take messages for employees, to which our Office Admin responded that we do not. The caller then called our Office Admin a " [redacted] and hung up the phone.

I immediately returned a call to the caller-ID number, which was answered with a simple "hello". I had to ask the company name and to whom I was speaking. I was told "Check n go" and "[redacted]". I asked him if he had just called and he said, "No, it could have been one of any number of people". I asked to speak with a Supervisor and he stated he was the Supervisor. I explained to him what had happened and asked him to check on the employee's behavior. He would not assist me at the time, stating that he was working with another customer. I asked him to transfer me to someone who could help me, but he refused and said he would call me back. I provided my telephone number and name. I have not heard back from him.Desired Settlement: I want Check n go to apologize to our Office Administrator.

Review: I once applied to check N go online. This company proceeded to sell by social security number, banking information, as well as other private personal information about myself. I then received around 100 calls, emails and texts from their "third party" companies. Some were in other countries. I was not seriously concerned until today when I checked my checking account and noticed funds that I did not authorize from [redacted]. I have spoken with this company regarding this transaction. I did not authorize this. check N Go had no right to sell my personal information and compromise my bank account. I fully intend on reporting this issue to every outlet possible. This company SHOULD NOT be selling such information as bank accounts and SSN. I want ALL of my information removed from this company or I will file a lawsuit for unfair and unreasonable business practices.Desired Settlement: I want someone to remove my information and contact me to ensure my private information has been removed from their company as well as their third party companies they deal with.

Review: I purchased a new cell phone for my business. Shortly after Check n Go started to call me daily. After 4 days - I called them back. I told the person on the phone that the number on file is my number (not the person they were leaving endless messages for). Please remove my number from the file. I was then told to hold, I need to be tranferred to another department to make that happen. THEN - after talking to another department I was told that I needed to send a letter in to get my phone number removed. I verbally told them they had the wrong number. Why am I the victim for getting a cell phone number asasigned to me of their clients? I am a busy mother of 3 with 2 jobs - now I have to send a letter to them to stop the daily stalking? I was told that if I didn't send the letter the daily calls would continue. Very unprofessional of this organization.Desired Settlement: I would like them to chane thier policy. I never have used this company and they had an incorrect phone number. Why punish me?

Response:

Review: For a couple weeks I received a call from ###-###-#### on my cell phone and I did not answer because I did not know the number and a message was never left. I answered the call one day in hopes to stop the calls but it has only gotten worse. They asked for [redacted], last name [redacted] or [redacted], I told the person that the number did not belong to [redacted] and they hung up. The calls continued...they never identify themselves only ask for [redacted]. When I have answered the call I have always stated that the number does not belong to [redacted], that I have had the number for atleast five years and I do not know [redacted] and that I am insisting that the calls stop. They have progressed. I asked for a supervisor and was told that they only way to get the calls to stop was to fax/e-mail them my personal information. I am not going to do this and several people have instructed me not to. I cannot block the call because per conversation with [redacted] Wireless they call from a rotating number and the call is never actually from ###-###-####. I have done my research on this and I do know that if it is communicated that you do not want to be contacted again, the debt collector is supposed to cease calling and this is to be done even if it is done verbally and that the continuing of these calls is considered an illegal act of harassment by the collector. I firmly believe I have a case of harrassment...after numerous times requesting the calls to stop, stating that I do not know [redacted] W. and that I do not know where he can be reached I have a total of 37 calls from them since Febuary 5 and as of today I am still receiving them. I do not want to provided them with any of my personal information, other than my name which I have given them, because there is no need for them to know my address or e-mail address. I would suggest that they verify a phone number given to them when they approve on of their high costing loans in order to guarantee that they have the correct person to harrass when the loan goes to default.Desired Settlement: I want the calls to stop...I receive a call at least three times per day in the morning, afternoon and evening. I have been nice on the phone to them and I have been upset on the phone with them because they show no respect for the person they are speaking with, I have been laughed at by a so called supervisor/manager and hung up on. The calls have become a nusiance to me and are interrupting my work and home.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Thank you very much for this...my sanity also thanks you. I am sorry that I did not think about contacting you sooner. I do not understand how companies like this can stay in business or where they can find customers. I understand times are tough but after reading the various comments/complaints on your site it appears that they do not even treat the customers well that do actually pay them back at the terrible rate of interest they charge. Again, thank you.

Review: Collector [redacted] called my business line. When asked why he did that, he stated I provided the number at loan origination. This is not true. [redacted] said my wages would be garnished and/or I would be prosecuted for writing bad checks. I asked if that was a threat and he said he was "stating the facts". I asked if was a threat more times and he said was a fact. A another rep told me it was a possibility based on factors. I know in TX, they cannot garnish wages and he did not leave this open for interpretation. I asked him to remove my work number and found that he did not do so. He does not have tact. The female I spoke with (and resolved the issue with) was much better at managing the call and more truthful about the possibilities. Had [redacted] been more tactful, he would have gotten the situation straigtened out in one call. [redacted] was, overall, threatening and condescending. He threatened me with prosecution for bad check writing and wage garnishment. When offered an out, he maintained it was a fact. Also, he hung up on me and left the call rudely.Desired Settlement: I would like to know that the issue will be addressed internally, or if I need to continue down the path of escalation at the state level. Inclusive of possible FDCPA voilations.

Ms. [redacted],

I wanted to send a follow up email detailing the response provided by [redacted] from our Risk department. On 8/16 you and [redacted] spoke regarding that you felt that your identity had been stolen and he advised that you needed to do the following:

· Visit [redacted] and complete and submit the ID Theft Affidavit and include copy of photo ID

· Obtain and submit a police report

[redacted] also gave you his phone number where he could be reached should you need any additional assistance.

Thank you,

I have used the service a couple of times and did not have a problem. They were very courteous and helpful. I did actually READ all of the paperwork, and the staff also explained it. Since I realize that places like these are only a TEMPORARY solution, and I knew I had no DOUBT that I could pay the loan as required, I had a very positive experience.

Review: I went to the Check n Go office in[redacted] during my work lunch to payoff my cash advance at 1:25 pm on Thursday, September 15, 2011 during their normal business hours (10:30 am to 6:00 pm). When I reached the location a sign on the door stated that the employee would not be available until 2:00 pm that day. I saw the employee in the office working so I called them and explained that I was on my lunch and couldnapost wait. They said that they had clocked out for lunch and wouldnapost open the door to conduct business. I went back to my office and sent a complaint email to Check n Go Customer Service and HR Recruiting Department asking that my check not be deposited until a resolution can be reached email. I received a response from from the recruiting department stating that I would receive a call from quotSomeonequot as soon as possible and I received an email from Customer Service stating that the store’s District Manager would contacted me within 48 hours. On September 21, 2011 my check was cashed. On September 23, 2011 I sent another email to both departments informing them that it had been a week and no one has contacted me concerning my complaint. Once again they assured me that quotSomeonequot or the store’s District Manager would contacted me as soon as possible. Now itaposs September 28, 2011; 10 days since I was at the [redacted] office during normal hours to complete my obligation and 9 days after my initial complaint was sent. I feel that I should not have to pay the $45.00 fee.Desired Settlement: Refund my $45.00 service fee

Review: On 12/20/2012 I received an email at 3:33 am PST that I have an option to repay a payday loan a day earlier than the original due date via debit card. This email did not disclose that there will be any fee to pay by debit card. I spoke with Check N Go Customer Services Manager[redacted] 08:40 a.m. PST & learned that I was informed that I would be charged a $10 pay by phone transaction fee. This is in addition to the loan + interest of $300.00. I informed [redacted] that a transaction fee was not disclosed in the email & that I simply want to pay off my loan as soon as possible & requested that the $10 fee be waived because it was not disclosed.[redacted] informed me that there is nothing that could be done.Desired Settlement: I am requesting that the $10 fee be returned to me as this was not disclosed in their disclosure statement.

Review: I have received calls from the check n go corporate office stating that if I do not purchase a [redacted] pre-paid card to settle a debtthat I owe them for their special settle price they will take action. While I do owe them monies and I am trying to take steps to repay using my retirement account they insist that I have to buy a [redacted] card to get a one time settlement offer of half what I owe. I told them I was taking steps in a legal way to pay the debt however they have continued to harass by phone. I told them I will not purchase any prepaid card and they yelled at me in a threatening manner. I told them that I didn't need one problem over another and they just will not stop. This doesn't seem legal to me.Desired Settlement: stop harassing calls and trying to sell something that someone in debtdoes not need.

Response:

Hello,

Thank you for contacting Check 'n Go.

We apologize for the experience you have encountered.

(2) collection phone calls that you received have been reviewed and here are the findings.

Phone Call # 1

What was explained is that in order to take advantage of settlement offer, you must secure the arrangement on a [redacted] or [redacted] card to stop the collection calls. You stated on the first call I reviewed that your account was closed. The collection agent then suggested that we also accept [redacted]. You advised your were waiting on paperwork from a previous employer and would call back once received.

Phone Call #2

It was again explained that in order to take advantage of the settlement offer and to stop collection calls you must secure the arrangement with Debit or Credit Card. The agent also explained that you could go online and acquire a card at no charge. You then stated that the IRS has advised you not to do anything.

A collection call supervisor at that time took over the call and explained that without a secure arrangement we could not offer the settlement.

We apologize for the confusion of what was offered to you.

Review: I have been a customer of Check N Go for about two years. I have a pay day loan with them for 255.00 and I pay 300.00 every pay period. I was due to pay my pay day loan on December 5th which was a Thursday, I went to the store to pay and there was a sign saying that the employee they have was on lunch and would not be back until 3:00pm, however it was already 3:05pm. I left to the store across the street and came back 10 minutes later and she was still not back, there was a gentleman waiting outside, I then went to pick up my child from preschool and came back at 3:44pm and she was still not back. I have two kids that attend 5 dance classes during the week therefore; I had to pick up my 10 year old and take them to their dance classes. I called the next day and advised that I had gone and that there was no one available and I was told that there were two CSR'S there and I should not have a problem with the store being closed, I went in and there were 6 customers waiting and one rep available to assist, their wait time was ridiculous and once again I had to go pick up my kids and take them to dance classes so I left. On Saturday I was out of town and could not make it in, so finally on Monday I called and left a voice mail hoping that they would listen to it, since their rep [redacted] told me she did not know how to check voice mails (obviously not trained well enough), in my voice mail I advised that I would be in there today or they could just deposit my check. I then went to the store after work around 3:20pm and once again there was tons of customers and I did not have time to wait, so I left. I then called around 5:58pm to ask what time they closed and I was told by [redacted] who is the district manager from [redacted] that they closed at 6:00pm but that if I came in with in 5 minutes she could assist me. I was at a dance moms meeting and could not make it until 7:00pm. I then receive a call at 6:25pm and I was in a meeting so I did not answer, two minutes later I receive a call again from [redacted] so I answered as a courtesy in the middle of my meeting so that she did not think I was ignoring her calls and she was extremely rude and was talking to me with a bad attitude, her tone of voice was just not acceptable. She was asking me a couple of questions and I answered her nicely and disconnected. I then called her back at 6:38pm when I was out of the meeting and explained all of the above, as I had called to let them know of when I had gone in and left voice mails, however; since they are always short staff they always have a lot of people and unfortunately I have a lot of things on my plate after work. I advised her that her employee who was suppose to be back at 3:00pm on Thursday was not back and that I went back 3 times, she said she was going to check her cameras, but who knows if she followed through. Also, I advised her that her employee did not know how to check their voice mails and she said she was not aware as her employees have had four weeks of training. I also told her that her tone of voice when she called earlier was not OK, I told her she was rude and no matter what is going on she needs to be courteous to her customers, I asked her for her name and title she said her name was [redacted] and she was the district manager from LA and that her name was at the door for complaints. I asked her for her Regional Managers name or phone number and she refused to give me that information, she said she could pass the information down if I would like, but I told her no, as I know their calls are not recorded and I do not trust a rude person. She stated that she was sorry if she sounded rude but that she was cold and was sick and that she had driven all the way from LA to cover, I advised her that I work as a CSR and that all the personal stuff that is bugging us is not an excuse to be rude and that we must always be courteous to our customers. I then advised her that I would put in a Revdex.com complaint so that I know for sure that my voice is heard about their lack of training employees and rude customer service from a District Manager. She told me she would hold my check on more day so that I could go in and advance and pay it off. I went in on Tuesday, luckily they only had one customer ahead of me, she was at the front desk and said someone would be with you, she then walked to the back and when [redacted] was done with the other customer she saw that it was me and she said I will be with you in just one moment. She then went to the back and told [redacted] that I was there, and came back out to proceed with assisting me. [redacted] never came out to personally apologize for her rude tone of voice and or to greet me, which I thought was shady. I understand that it is frustrating trying to get a hold of customers to pay on time, however; that does not give the rep calling the customer a reason to be rude.Desired Settlement: I would like for [redacted]'s Regional Manager to get back to me and advised me of what disciplinary actions were taken in regards to her behavior.

Review: My wife has an installment loan from this company. We have been paying on it, faithfully, every two weeks. They call us every two weeks and tell us an amount and we authorize an ACH debit in that amount and they charge it. This last week was a due date and they called us as usual. We had both become unemployed recently and did not have that full amount. We explained this to the lady who called and she told us that if we could at least pay $50 it would be ok. I told her I would look at out bank account and call her back. After looking at our account, my wife called her back and authorized a $50 debit. It was about an hour and half before they closed but she got voicemail so she left them a message authorizing that amount. This was a Friday. Monday morning I look at my account and an amount triple the authorized amount was debited. We called the Check N Go store and the lady there told us she had gotten our voicemail to authorize the $50 and didn't know why the system took so much. She said she would call corporate and find out why since it was only supposed to be the aforementioned $50. She never called us back that day so the next day we called back. She said she still didn't know why it happened and she said she would, again, call corporate and find out. Again, never called us back. Now it is Wednesday and we are still waiting and will no doubt get the same response. This is an issue because now our account is going to go negative and certain fees will follow. Fees that could have been avoided if they had just done what was agreed to and authorizedDesired Settlement: I would like my bank immediately credited the difference in what was AUTHORIZED AND AGREED TO or a cash refund in that amount.

Review: check-n-go took money out of my bank without my authorization

I went online to get a loan from Check-n-go but I wanted to cancel I did the necessary procedures and emailed them that nite and they did not respond to me. I saved the cancelation email to them. a week later I find out there is more money in my partners account. The account they took money out of is not my account it is my partners [redacted] I am just the representative for her. check n go said they put $255 in that account and I did not know this. a week ago they fraudulently took money $125 out of this account ending numbers is [redacted] checking account for [redacted]. There is no where On the contract that says they can do this. Also online they say that there company pratices good business, fairness, honesty and it also says on the businesses practices of Collection that they have to go thru a Collection agency to collect there money. They did not even do that. They took my partners $125 very sneaky and fraudulently without our knowledge and without calling us. I did not authorize them to do this. I did not make any type of arrangement for them to take out my partners money.Desired Settlement: I want the $125 Check-n-go took out of my partners account ending in 0475 immediately. As this is a crime they commited. They can deal with me personally by making an arrangement with me. ultimately I did not ask for this loan as I have the saved cancelation email that I sent to check-n-go if they do not refund the money within 2 weeks I will make further dire action.

NCP Finance has been taking money out of my account illegaly with fradulant checks that I did not write. The signature on the checks that NCP is cashing on my account have a forged signature that I did not sign. My current bank [redacted] has paid this company a total of 1,500.00 in two days. NCP has cashed three checks on my account on the date 06/10/11 by the amount of 327.30 each one. The checks are forged and they have a forged signature. The checks were all supposidly written on 05/24/13 and that is impposible because I was out of town first and foremost and second I do not have any checks with this checkign account. The check numbers they have are check [redacted]2. Then on 06/11/13 NCP Finance cashed another check, check number [redacted] for the amount of 327.60. Response:

Mr. [redacted],

DON'T DO IT! They will tell you that you can ACH payments from your checking act when younsign up for for the loan. It goes well for a few months and then mysteriously the payments arent submitted. And this is when you get the harassing calls which violate the FDCPA, no collection company can leave a voicemail concerning a debt, much less than the message they left for me, "this is very important mater that has been brought to my desk concerning fraud that you have willingly committed." I call the "district manager and she claims that they never leave messages like that and that I got a call concerning me not coming in to make payments. I asked what happened to my ACH payments, she "kindly" informed me that they do not allow for payments to be ACHd. I advised that the store manager told me otherwise and that I wanted the ACH to continue as it was. She hung up the line, and then 4 days later I get the "committed fraud call" again. And then8 days later 4 ACHs were taken out all at one time, guess what, causing me to have massive overages and NSF fees. NEVER ONCE DID I AUTHORIZE FOR 4 PAYMENTS AT ONCE! I called their corporate office, what a joke. He was very rude, saying that they dont control or know what the local offices do, that they are their own company even thought theynhave the check n go name. He proceeded to tell me that they can take out as many ACHs as they want at one time. I advised them they no longer had my permission and that they no longer had permission to call my work, my references or myself, that I will be doing business contact via mail from now on, he said "thats not how this works, thats not how any of this works" said he wont call my work but will 3nsure that there are repeat calls to my phone, before I blocked their number they were calling 5 to 7 times an hour. I mentioned how they had violated the FDCPA by leaving the messages stating that I had commited fraud. He started to argue and say, "Oh, thats just hearsay, cant prove it." Hello, they are saved in my voicemail and also on my memory card..... This company is nothing more than low level sm right there with loan sharks.

Review: I went online to google and typed in check N Go and was taken to their website on 2/18/14. I was looking for a loan that I could take out online. On their website it did state that the loan would be a third party, but they did not say over 40 third parties. It has been no more than 26 hours since I applied for the loan online and I have received over 40 phone calls from 9pm last night and started again at 6:50am this morning.

I WAS NOT aware that they were going to sell my information to everyone and I can't get all of these companies to stop calling me. I tried calling their number ###-###-#### and no answers or will, the voice mail that picks up when you call is some advertising scam talking about a trip to the Bahamas and then after that the phone hangs up. I have sent them an email as well complaining. With o one answering the phone I'm even more worried now because when I filled this information out online, it had my social security number, my driver's license number and all my personal information which they have now sold to all these companies.

Us consumers should have some type of rights with the way our information gets distributed and considering it's only been less than 26 hours and have I received over 40 calls, this is ridiculous and I am livid and want this to stop. I will take legal action against this company if they do take care of this and I never did get the loan from them.Desired Settlement: I want my information removed from the people they sell it to and they need to contact all these companies that keep calling me and have them stop.

Response:

Dear Ms. [redacted]

We have received your complaint and offer the following explanation. When you applied for a loan, you were given the option to check or uncheck an option that states "I agree that Check 'n Go may share my personal

financial information with non-affiliated companies, as described in

Check 'n Go's privacy policy. For example, if Check 'n Go cannot provide

me the loan or other financial product I have requested, then Check 'n

Go may share my information with an outside company that offers a

similar product that may meet my needs.". Based on the decision to have this box checked, your information was provided to an outside company that can meet your needs. We apologize that the volume of other offers is so high, but we do not control how many of the companies take interest in your business.

If you would like to opt out of the mailing list, you can call [redacted].

Thanks,

Consumer

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Revdex.com spoke to the customer and she stated although companies are still contacting her, she opted out and they told her that it would take at least 30 days for information to be removed.

Regards,

Review: Initial agreement for the loan was plan payment every other Thursday which was based on income from an employment than I am no longer have. I have contacted this company to advise them that my employment information has changed and to request that the payments be withdrawn on the 15h and ending of the month but they have refused.Desired Settlement: That the company will allow me to make the payments on the loan on the 15th and ending of each month which is my current pay schedule from employment.

Response:

Ms. [redacted],

Company has reviewed your account. Unfortunately, once an agreement has been made we would need to follow the dates presented in the loan documents. While we understand that this may not be optimal, we would be unable to modify due dates for any of our loan agreements.

If the account is moved into our in house collections department, they may be willing to work out different payment arrangements. They would have more flexibility in the amounts and dates of payments.
