Review: This is a collections company for Check-n-Go. They have been harassing me by calling me since 12/18/12. They called my number and asked to speak to a [redacted]. I explained to the associate she had the wrong number. Hours later, this company called me back, and I explained to [redacted], a supervisor, that they had the wrong phone number and person, and asked that it be corrected in their sysyem. I requested that they stop calling me. [redacted], was extremely rude, and told me that it was verified that they had the right person and phone number. He refused to correct this in their calling system. To date, I am still getting a minimum of 2 phone calls a day from them, during the week. Some messages have been left where I can overhear other associates making calls.Desired Settlement: I want the harassing phone calls to CEASE. I want this documented on their business practices. I also want a written apology from this company. I have filed complaints with the FCC and the FTC. Yet, I'm still being harassed. My next recourse will be via the Attorney General's office.

Review: The week of 12/8/13, I started contacting Check N Go in regard to a pay-off balance , my loan balance, the amount that I had paid so far and about paying the loan off early. After numerous calls, I was told that I had paid $ 2,593.17 on a $ 2,000.00 taken out on 8/11/13. I was also told that I owed $ 2,419.96, then I sent emails asking an explanation. I also told them that I could NOT afford to pay over $5,000.00 for $ 2,000 loan. I asked them if I could pay a smaller amount to pay-off the loan since I have already paid more than I owed. No response was given. So, I told my bank to stop taking $ 309.43 out my account. They next sent me a bill for almost $ 700.00.

In other words, they are acting like Loan Sharks and trying to get probably 5 times the actual loan value.Desired Settlement: I would like them to STOP CALLING ME SEVERAL TIMES A DAY - TELLING ME TO PAT THEM!!

I would like my BILL adjusted to a reasonable pay-off balance that does not include late charges and fees; and the PAY-OFF should be less than $ 1000.00. I would like the adjusted made by February 28, 2014.

Review: Have an installment loan with CheckNGo. Called to make payment arrangements due to current income.Working a partime job, and basically social security is the only stable income I have.I was told that payment arrangements could not be made until they took or attempted to get this months payment from my account. Which would over draw my account, and I would be charged a fee.I understand that the loan is due, but thought if an arrangement could be made, the overdraft would be avoided. I spoke to a customer service rep and also sent an e-mail in order to document my attempt to make arrangements.Desired Settlement: Payment arrangement made to pay loan and not over draw my account.

Review: My due date is today and this company has started calling my family, friends, and job. My loan is not past due or late at all nor has it ever been and they are now starting to contact references before the due date. I am scheduled to make a payment this evening at 6:45 and I am not sure why they are already calling my job and my references. Review: I sign up for loan online in late jan 2013. they start taking my money out of my account in feb. every two weeks I get paid. I couldn't believe the finance charges! but I was that desperate so I agree. The loan was for $1,000 and the interest they charged was $1,017.42! they take $183.39 every two weeks. it was a total of 11 payments. on june 18th I got email of final payment will be due on june. 21. on june 21 nothing came out of my account but I got an email stating that I paid off my loan. on june 26 I get email my account is past due in the amount of $2,017.42 and I get a phone call the same day. I told them I paid off loan. They said my account was invalid and returned from bank today. How is it possible if you took the money from my account and my bank honored every payment! I have statements that show that! I went to office and they called customer service and customer service say my account was adjusted and I owe the last $183.52. I told them they never took from my account on due day. They told me account was invalid. How it possible if every other payment went through but last payment didn't. I talk to my bank and they said nothing went through for them to honor. I mean an authorization have to go through for them to honor! this lady tell me excuses.. oh it not our fault and its your bank and that she used to work for bank and the person I talked to was just customer service. I told her it make no sense. I paid the money and she gave me confirmation number. The next day, I get email that I owe $375.09! they call me and I answer and say how I owe this amount if I paid last payment! they say well 2 payments come back unpaid and account invalid and she even say oh it not returned check but your account was invalid. it not possible bc every payment went through totaling $2,017.42!! I decide to send letter and all doucuments to the address so they can see for themselves. they take people money and not help! when people pay off loan. they come back claiming we owe them more! they are crook!Desired Settlement: I want them to stop calling and I want them to close my account paid in full. bc I know I don't owe money! I paid everything I owed! I have health issue bc of them! I lose sleep. I have back problem. Review: Consumer's Original Complaint : They called me and threatened me. They said they were going to file a lein on my driver's license. And they have not proven that I owe the debt. I received a phone call from the "office of recommendation". ###-###-#### They called me and was saying stuff about arbitration that I was not even aware of. I kept on asking Ms. [redacted] to explain why she was calling. She said she was with the "office of recommendation". I asked for the address of that location and she would not tell me that. After a while, in the middle of the conversation, they then told me that the call was being recorded, after the fact. I told her that this was the first time hearing about this issue. Ms. [redacted] told me that they mailed paper work to [redacted] in [redacted]. I told her that I have not lived there in over 10 years. She told me she had bank account records. I told her that I had closed that bank account with a zero balance. I then asked her what the phone number to "check n go" was and she did not have that phone number. I think it was another collection agency but was unable to get her to verify that. She threatened me more than once, saying that they would garnish my wages and place a lein against my drivers license. I was very upset and did not understand why she would say that. I felt very harassed and threatened.Desired Settlement: I want that business to verify with me if I owe the debt. I have no idea or recollection of this. I would like the correspondence mailed to me to resolve this issue immediately.

Review: I started an installment loan with this company in June of 2012. PRIOR TO SIGNING ANY DOCUMENTS I expressed concern about getting in on the due date to make a payment as I work 12 shifts 7a -7p in [redacted] and would not be back in [redacted] before the close of business. I was ASSURED by the employee conducting the loan that that was not problem. They could just debit my checking account automatically. As this was an acceptable alternative, I went ahead with the loan. Starting in September, I received a call from [redacted] who stated that automatic withdrawl basically should not have been offered as an option, and that he had "made a mistake" which had gotten him in trouble at work. He asked if I might agree to start making payments in house. As the option of auto withdrawl was the only reason I went ahead with the loan, I stated that this was the agreement that was made on the initiation of the loan and unfortunately I could not help him. Since them I have received a call on every due date, however the money continues to come out of my checking account each month. This month, however, the company attempted to pull the money from my account two days PRIOR to the due date on the contract causing me an overdraft fee of $37.00. At this point I question the integrity of this company and am concerned that they have any of my financial information at all. I have borrowed from them several times prior to this and always paid off my debt on time and in full. I am offended at my treatment during this recent loan, and outraged that they would access my account prior to the due date of my payment.Desired Settlement: I expect a refund or credit of $37.00. The company had no business accessing my account on the date it did.

This complaint is an addendum to a previous complaint ID [redacted]. I was called today, Nov.19th, at work by an employee of Check n Go who informed me I was, surprise to me, two payments behind. The employee also informed me since a payment they tried to collect through automatic debit of my account was declined, I could no longer employee that service to payback my loan. As stated previously, the due date for the latest payment was Nov 16. Check n Go attempted to withdraw payment from my account on the 14th. After contacting my bank, I find that the previous payment due on Nov. 2 was never withdrawn, nor was there an attempt to withdraw it. Since June of this year when I started the loan, all auto withdrawls were taken no more than a few days after the due date. As I have been harrassed since Sept to come in and pay rather than let them debit my checking account, I have to assume this latest manuever was done so they could withdraw the auto debit option from me forcibly. There is no reason why they should have attempted to take Nov 2's payment almost a full two weeks after its due date, and the Nov 16 payment should not have been removed before that date. I am tired of being punished for an employee mistake and can not believe a business would conduct itself in this manner, especially since I only have 3-4 more payment on the loan and will have paid them back 3,000 dollars for the 1,500 I borrowed.

Review: I have recently received a loan for 150.00 and to be paid off on the paid daytes of 6th and the 20th. I called due to the fact a received an email telling me I could change the due date at anytime however I called today to the ###-###-#### and explained that I would like to change my due date until the 20th of October which is only 10 more days and of course no could help and that was not what was explained to me at the original loan date when I talked with a representive from the home office and also by email.Desired Settlement: Change the due date until the 10th of October

Under the (FAIR CREDIT REPORTING ACT)15 USC 1681n(a)(1)(B ) it is against the law to view a consumers credit report without "PERMISSIBLE PURPOSE". Review: When in called the locations in Columbia, SC I am given incorrect information about documentation. When I get to the store I am told something totally different which is a complete waste of time. The reps are very unprofessional and very rude. The locations include Columbia, SC [redacted]. Very bad experience at both locations. Review: My account was incorrectly billed, causing NSF fees. When this happened the first time, they agreed to credit my balance due for the NSF fee. I agreed. I was then incorrectly billed again, this time causing NSF fees from my bank and my landlord. I then asked can the duplicate payment be reversed, the answer was no since it was not the exact day it happened. I called the exact day it happened and was told nothing could be done but to refinance my loan I then asked can I be reimbursed for NSF fees this time as well, they said no. This was face to face. Prior to this I called and representative told me NSF fee are my personal problem and they are not responsible. (Not realizing they agreed to this arrangement last time this same issue occurred.) So not only did I make 2 payments on my loan in one day, due to their error, now I'm out an additional $86 dollars of which increases everyday until I can get the additional money to pay my rent.

Review: I had a payday loan with Check n Go in 2008. I got behind on the payments and they agreed on a settlement. I paid the settlement in full as of July 13th 2009. Every year since I have been receiving phone calls from various collection agencies and lawyers informing me that Check n Go suing me for the difference that we had settled on. I originally owed appoximately $900.00 and they settled for $452.00. They are trying to collect on the $450.00 difference. How do I get them to stop harrassing me when the bill is paid in full?

Review: I filed chapter 13 bankruptcy in May, 2010. Within the past month or so my parents have been getting threatening phone calls from people looking for me. I contacted [redacted]h at ###-###-#### who said she was representing Check N Go. She said that I was going to be arrested unless I paid back my loan. I told her that I had filed bankruptcy and that I was not to be contacted. She was not deterred and continued to harrass and insult my intelligence. I had my lawyer contact her and they sent them my Chapter 13 information. My file was transferred to ANOTHER collector who continued to leave threatening messages on my parents answering machine. I have NEVER, EVER listed my parents as a reference yet they get called. I have told them to not contact my parents and that because I was protected under bankruptcy protection laws that I was not to be contacted, either. My lawyer has tried to get a valid address and fax number to send a cease and desist letter but the collectors refuse to give that information. My rights under the consumer debt protection and chapter 13 bankruptcy protection laws are being violated. I will not tolerate this further. All of the collectors have identified Check N Go as their client so I am holding Check N Go responsible for their actions. Please take whatever means necessary to ensure that my parents, friends, family, coworkers, neighbors and myself are no longer contacted as I am protected under Chapter 13 bankruptcy protection laws. Review: On 6/26/2014 received a call at work from this company. I spoke to someone at the company the day before on my cellphone. I was no need to call my workplace.Desired Settlement: Do not call my workplace they have my cellphone and I answered.

Review: To make a long story short, the harassment that this company provides is unbelievable, phone calls arrange from 6-8 times/day, I have paid a debt in full for less than balance, however they won't send me a satisfaction letter. The CSR stated that the company tries to be as "green" as they can be, and since a letter is generated it can only be sent via email, they will have to contact a supervisor to have that email sent, and I still haven't seen an email. I asked if they could mail me the letter and the statement about being green is what I was told as to why they couldn't mail me anything.Desired Settlement: I just want a satisfaction letter sent to either my home address.
