Review: I have been a customer with this company since January 2013. This company has violated their contract. I gave a person my check stub to verify my information so I know that transaction can take place. This person did not do this. She took my money first before she even verified my information. Now, I cannot get in contact with anyone at this company. I feel they didn't take the time to work the situation out with me.Desired Settlement: I would like for them to verify my information because I an employed. Please take initial payment and return the rest of the money, so that my loan can be refinanced.

Mr. [redacted],
Thank you for contacting Check 'n Go regarding credit inquiries.
As part of our loan process we determine your eligibility through a consumer reporting agency (Teletrack).
Due to your application for a loan product, you were subject to this process which is stated on our website.
The website states the following:
*Approval depends upon meeting legal, regulatory and underwriting requirements. Check 'n Go and third party lenders may, at their discretion, verify application information by using national databases, including but not limited to Teletrack, that may provide information from one or more national credit bureaus, and Check 'n Go or third party lenders may take that into consideration in the approval process.
Thank you,

Review: Good afternoonIn September, I went on Check N Go's website and as a [redacted] resident, followed the prompts accordingly to see what they offered in our state. The webiste indicates that they offer two types of loans in the State of [redacted]. One, an installment loan, and two a payday loan.I followed the prompts for the installment loan. I admittedly hurridely filled out this application, approved the documents, and submitted it. Of the many pages, I didn't notice the payback schedule, it must have been buried in the pile of documents.I take responsibility for ignorantly approving everything to the get the cash, I was quite a pinch. (As I'm sure most are, or they wouldn't use this service to begin with)So, when my loan was approaching the due date, I get the email warning to remind me that it was coming up for the full amount plus fees (loan amount $1500, payback $1881). I didn't, and will struggle to get that amount together all at once to pay it back. So I called Check N Go to find out why it wasn't an installment loan. They told me they don't offer installment loans in the state of [redacted]. I agreed to a refinance of the loan, paying a fee of $389 (3 times now) extending the loan so I could get by.I finally called them back and asked them the same question, indicating that I want to pay back the loan, I was aware of the fees at the time, but I had applied for an installment loan. They again told me they don't offer installment loans in the state of [redacted]. I told them that their website indicated that they did, and I felt it was fraudulent.I asked for a supervisor "[redacted]" who quite rudely told me the exact same thing "we don't offer installment loans in the state of [redacted]" I had her follow the same prompts with me, using her internet connection over the phone, and she clearly saw it. She gave no explanation, must have said 10 more times, we don't offer installment loans in [redacted]. I kept responding, why does your website say you do then, in the state of [redacted].She quite rudely told me I should have read my documents closer, and I agree. However, I feel this is clearly fraud and an attempt to decieve the people in [redacted] and I'm writing because something needs to be done about it.My issue here is not with the fees, or the services they offer. I fully admit I didn't read the documents before I electronically signed them, but Check N Go is running a fruadulent website, that is misleading. I consider myself a pretty smart guy, but I wonder how many others have fallen prey to this scheme.I will pay back the loan, and the fees, the point here is the fraud and their unwillingness (and rudeness) when I called to inquire about a payment solution. If I got ripped off, I gaurantee you there are hundreds more out there.Follow the trail on their website for yourself.www.checkngo.comIn the "state center" box, select "get started", go to "services" tabscroll down and select "installment loans"You'll then get a screen describing about the installment loans, and a box for "checkngo quick start"Select [redacted]Enter your nameEnter your email addressThe very next screen (note [redacted] is prepopulated for you) is the application for the loanNowhere on that screen anywhere does it say "sorry, check n go doesn't do installment loans in [redacted]" The natural assumption based on the previous screens and steps I've outlined does it say that. I filled out that application while on a conference call, and submitted it without reading the fine print. But that CLEARLY is deceptive trade. Very deceptiveThere is also nothing in the disclaimer on their website:"Check 'n Go OH License [redacted] licensed check casher. Licensed by the [redacted] Department of Corporations pursuant to the [redacted] Deferred Deposit Transaction Law. [redacted] loans other than deferred deposit loans are issued pursuant to the [redacted] Finance Lenders Law. [redacted] and Ohio-Loans originated by a third party lender, restrictions apply. "All I want to do is pay it off, [redacted])I've copied and pasted the body of this email and sent to the State Attorney General of Ohio as well. They didn't have an email address.Desired Settlement: I'd like my loan reconfigured as an installment loan

Review: Double-billed on interest; their paperwork states a 22.8% flat-rate CAB interest. They billed us interest twice on a two-payment installment loan. Basically charged us one hundred and eleven dollars on a two hundred and fifty dollar loan. Over-billed us by thirty five dollars, refused to contact supervisor as requested, could not competently explain charges, and called me a liar. Have receipts and paperwork showing the SINGULAR interest charge supposed to be there.Desired Settlement: Would like employee replaced because she works in a loan store and can't even do math. Would also like a refund from the organization on the thirty five dollars we were overbilled.

Review: I had a loan with this company. The insurance company paid off the loan due to vehicle being totaled. Check & Go did a write off. My complaint is that they held the check for at least three months which resulted in my payoff being higher due to interest. They had the check from my insurance company months before they actually paid it to my account.Desired Settlement: I want then to correct this and adjust my account accordingly.

Response:
Mr. [redacted]
Company has received your complaint and offers the following explanation.
Company received check from insurance company on 12/12/2013. At that time, we put a hold on the payment so that the loan would stop accruing interest. At that time, our store associates attempted to contact you in regards to the check being insufficient to cover the full balance. After the store's attempts to contact you to pay off the remaining balance failed, we applied the received check to your remaining balance as of 1/16/2014.
Company has found that interest was accrued fairly on your loan. You are still responsible for paying the remaining balance of the loan. Please let me know if you have any further questions.
Thanks,
Customer Service

Review: recieved a loan from check and go. as of feb,the 8th we would have made 6 payments of 263 our loan was for 2600 interest and principal are in each payment. to pay off the loan is still 2700 how can that be when the last few payments that were made some of the principal was paid they are charging me interest on top of interest.it was already determined how much interest and principal was tooken out of each payment. I should owe less then 2600 not much less but less.Desired Settlement: I just want credit for what I have paid.because interest and principal was already determined with each paymentand they are still charging more interest.

Mr. [redacted],
Review: Complaint by telephone. Revdex.com staff/sq --Consumer states she has done business with the company for several years. Recently in May 1, 2013 at their [redacted] location. Consumer went to the location and it appeared to be a day with many people waiting. Consumer states she normally have a loan for approx. $500 and pay approx. $45-$50 in the payback fees for that amount. On this occasion she was told that she could not take $500 but the full amount of her disablity check in the amount of $710. Consumer was rushed through the process and asked many questions. Company advised consumer she could not take the documents home, if she wanted the loan it would need to be signed an processed that day. Company never mentions specifically what new effects would be taking place only that changes would be coming in the near future. Consumer assumed the fees would be the normal amounts she has paid in the past. Consumer states when she went home and looked over the paperwork the company had the documents paid out for 5 months at $225.55. That so too much and never disclosed.Desired Settlement: Seek company to keep her loan at the same rate as she had in the past and inform customers if there are current changes in the paperwork. Company never stated the changes were effective the day she signed.

Thank you for contacting Check 'n Go regarding your account. However, what was explained to you when you took out this loan is that our product line had changed to a fully amortized installment loan. Your maximum amount had also changed to $710 in which you accepted. You also had the right to rescind this loan within 3 business days of receving the $710 loan which you did not act upon.

Review: Check n Go, a loan company licensed in [redacted] County by the [redacted] Department of Corporations pursuant to the [redacted] Deferred Deposit Transaction Law, this year alone on two (2) occasions, has provided UNSATISFACTORY customer service to this 4 + year customer. In December of last year I took out a Payday Loan, by making my check no. 0526 in the amount of $300.00 out to Check n Go (which serves as collateral), and receiving $255.00 in cash. As stipulated in the contract on January 3, 2013 I returned to the store located at [redacted] with $300.00 CASH to buy back the check. The first time I entered the store during my lunch break, there were 18 people ahead of me to buy back their check. I waited a half an hour the number of people ahead of me had shrunken by 4 to 14, but it was clear that I would not be able to buy back my check AND be able to return to work on time from my lunch break, without being tardy. So I left the store, ran home, called the store manager, [redacted], explained my dilemma asking if the check could be held for ONE MORE DAY, upon which the store manager responded the check would then be deposited. Since I was under time pressure, I remember saying: Thanks for nothing, and hurried back to work.Mindful of their policy (that a check must actually be bought back in order to RE-LOAN the next month) and my dire financial situation, I returned to the store during my 15 minute break at 5:05pm, counted more than 10 people waiting to buy back their check, and, once again hurried back to work, unable to buy back my check without risking ramifications to my employment. I got off from work at 6pm, walked by the store around 6:10pm, there were still people waiting, but their business hours on weekdays are from 10:30am to 6:00pm, consequently the door was locked. The next day, January 4, 2013, I went home from work during my lunch break, called the store manager [redacted], asked if my check had been deposited, and he responded: Yes! I asked [redacted] if he could give me the telephone number where I could launch a complaint, he gave me a bogus number. Angry, I called back, a female voice answered the phone. She gave me a number for Check n Go, but not the number where I could launch a complaint. On my way back to work I found that number posted on the door to the business whats up with that? Why did those two Check n Go employees NOT provide me with the correct phone number, when it was CLEARLY and visibly posted on the door to the business?Later that day I interacted with the District Manager for this store location (whos name is also [redacted]), and he confirmed that my check 0526 had indeed been deposited. I conveyed that I had made two (2) reasonable efforts to buy back the check on the 3rd January, and that I had asked the store manager to hold the check for one more day, explaining my dilemma.[redacted] (the District Manager) rendered an apology, and then added: You know you can always re-loan, all you need to provide is proof that the check has cleared your checking account.Friday, January 18, 2013 armed with a computer printout from my Bank (indicating that check 0526 cleared my checking account on 01/07/2013), and a copy of front and back of that check, I tried to take out a Payday Loan at the Check n Go Store located at [redacted]. Upon entering identifying information on her computer, the employee returned my ID card stating: You cant re-loan, without giving me ANY reason. When I asked to tell me why, she ignored me and stated: May I help the next customer. I left the store, called the customer comment line, and left a message for [redacted], the District Manager. He returned my call on January 23, 2013, apologized for the delay, and had this to say: You didnt have proof that the check had cleared your account. Which is contrary to the truth: I turned over these papers to the clerk when I tried to re-loan whether she bothered to look at it before telling me I cDesired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Other (requires explanation)
I have been a customer at this location for OVER 4 years. I am in good standing, they have all the documents they require to extend a deferred deposit loan, yet they have denied to extend such a loan to me on 2 occasions, without providing an explanation.1) I want to receive an explanation from Rick, THE STORE MANAGER, in writing.2) I request a copy of this complaint be dispatched to [redacted] THE DISTRICT MANAGER his phone no: [redacted]. Review: My daughter went into Check N Go, to obtain a loan. She did this totally independant of me in any way. Upon applying for the loan, she was asked if I were her Mother, based upon our last names being the same. She was later told after confirming that I was her Mother that I had an unpaid loan out with the company and if she is borrowing from them for me, then she needs to be careful. Her name is not on ANY of my documents with them, not even as a refrence. To my knowledge I am not even on any of her paper work. That was an extreme violation of my rights to privacy and should have NEVER been disclosed to any one, even those who may be on my refrence list. This was extrmely unprofessional, it violated me, and was very tacky and poor customer service. People should never take it upon themselves to disclose any one's personal information.Desired Settlement: I would like the Staff to be totally retrained and observered by a Corperate leader, and to learn the imporatnce of confidentiality, the right to privacy, professionalism and non opionated customer service. I would like to have my name completly taken out of their system, and to recover for the breach of confidentiality in the maximum amount. I would also like to recover the maximum amount allowable for the mental stress and anguish this has caused me. Thank you

Mr. [redacted],
Don't use them! This company has no regard for Fair Credit Act, they will harass you if you are a day late, they don't honor payment agreements and will call you at work despite your requests no to contact you at your place of employment. The customer service people are rude and they'll authorize the transaction with or without your consent once you sign the loan agreement. They basically stated that they can go into my checking account at any time since I signed the loan agreement, no notification at all until you check your account and realize they've robbed you. Find a more reputable company or you'll be sorry you ever borrowed the money in the first place.
Review: I referred a customer to this business which in turn is suppose to send me a 20 dollar check. It has been 11 months and I still have not received my referral money. I have sent emails, letters and have even called the office of the district manager for this location 5 times leaving a detailed message with a good contact number and he chooses not to return my calls. I personally feel that someone within the company is embezzling these checks and it could very well be the district manager for all I know.

First I was told it the check was sent to an old address in [redacted] and then I was told that I was not in the system when I was in the system, I used to cask my student loan checks at the Check N Go at [redacted]. That is where I first used their services. After making many many phone calls and leaving message after message with [redacted] the [redacted] disrtrict manager I never received a call back from him. I left as many as 6 messages on his voice mail explaining that it had been almost a year and I still had not received my 20 referral he just never called me back. I was left a voice mail about 4 months ago telling me that my 20 check was mailed and would be at the [redacted] office in a week or two. That was 4 months ago. I recently called [redacted]'s office and left a last message explaining that I was contacting Revdex.com and that he needed to return my call to get this worked out. That was 2 weeks ago. When he did not return my call I made a complaint with the Revdex.com. My phone number is ###-###-####. My mailing address is [redacted]. Thank you [redacted]

Consumer was victim of identity theft. A Consumer tried to take out a loan in her name with this company. The company had called her home asking for additional information regarding the loan. When she contacted the company they provided no assistance. They directed her to their website to fill out an affidavit. She would need to enter her personal information and social security number. The police advised her not to do this. The consumer does have a police report. She feels the company is not interested. Providing no assistance. this is thei policy. Consumer feels this is wrong.Desired Settlement: Consumer would like the company to be more cooperative with her and law enforcement.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Regarding Revdex.com Complaint ID [redacted]February 18, 2015I am not satisfied with the response Check n'Go, A.K.A. Axcess Financial offered in regards to the complaint submitted. Axcess Financial states in their response that they "request" the victem of I.D. theft go to their personal website and fill out more private information. The website[redacted], not law enforcement. This company will not work with local law enforcement in order to help catch the thief. The fraudulent application with Check n' Go / Axcess Financial was missing some information and I did not trust this company to give them my social security (which they required to answer questions) One of the questions that had been filled in was my place of employment. They would not tell me what the thief said, but this would have been a clear indication of the time frame and location of the crime. Axcess Financial / Check n' Go state that they take ID theft seriously, but if this was really the case, they would do everything to work with local law and not protect the thief. Many cases of I.D. theft are done on a local level.
Review: I returned to the [redacted] location (April 5th) to refinance the loan I already had in order to receive more funds for personal use. I chose the new amount, term & payment upon approval. The representative processed the application however, when it came to verifying my checking account information, there was some sort of technical issue not allowing the process to finish, which prevented them from producing the paperwork & ultimately advancing me the new funds (which I happen to sorely need). I agreed to go back on the next business day (Monday the 7th) and was informed nothing had been fixed at that time. My case was escolated to another level/dept and I was told I would hear back when a resolution was reached. A couple dozen phone calls later; there has still not been anything fixed. I have been speaking with the district manager who tells every time we speak that she has not heard anything. It's been almost 2 weeks & all they can tell me is " this has never happened before" & "I still haven't heard anything yet". There doesn't seem to be any accountability here. I need this money & frankly I'm thinking either they're incompetent, or just not doing anything to help me. This is unacceptable. No technical issue would cause this much of a delay for just a short term personal loan. By the way, the very account they say their system cannot verify; is the account that they have been taking payments from for my current loan.Desired Settlement: I expect to have the the loan I agreed to in the first place, that's all. I need it immediately.

Response:
I apologize for the issues that you've experienced when trying to obtain a loan from our company. I have followed up with the store, DDO, and IT department. I assure you that we want you to be able to use our services, however this is a bona fide technical issue. As for the length of time this has taken to fix, I can only apologize again as my investigation has found that this issue has affected a small number of customers and finding the reason why has taken IT far longer than most issues because of the small sample size.
While an apology won't get you the money you need, it is all I can offer you at this time. Hopefully you are able to find another source for cash in your time of need and can see past our technical issues.

Review: I wanted to make a final payment on my loan on Saturday December 21st to pay the entire loan off. They told my that I couldn't because the day before my check was submitted through to my bank, and I had to wait 12-14 days for the check to clear, I asked them what if the check clears sooner, they said then I can come in and pay it off. So when I noticed it had cleared three days later through my bank, I went to pay the loan they told my that I couldn't because it would take 12-14 days for it to clear, and I told them that my bank cleared it already. They said the check had to clear through there system, in the meantime interest is still acruing until the check clears. I called on Saturday, December 28th they said the check still had not cleared and the interest is still accruing, I stating to them that I wanted to pay it off, they said I couldn't because I have to wait until the check clears. I told them it was not fair, and that I should not have to pay interest on a loan if they tell me to not pay it in full.

The gentleman behind the counter explained to me that all my over time and management hours on my paycheck does not count for my loan and I would only be eledible for $100.00, and I would have to go get him a bank statement. I didn't like that so much so I left and did not go back. Now as I look at my bank statement it shows that Check N Go took $439.89 out of my checking account, Unauthorized...I find this to be unaccpectable and demand a refund. I did NOT receive any money from this lendor and have NOT delt with them in the past and never will again.-Thank youDesired Settlement: To make this situation correct I beleive a $439.89 refund is in order. I am not asking for the overdraft fee's be paid because that was my own fault for not checking my bank statement sooner. But I do strongly beleive that my $439.89 should be paid back promptly, and a explaination of how this happened.- Again Thank you.

The information you provided has been reviewed and it shows that you received an online loan with our company for $350 on November 5th, 2012. Due to non-payment of the $350 plus interest fees of $89.89 = $439.89 this amount was submitted to your bank for payment. If you did not initiate this online loan, please respond and we will then submit this information to our FRAUD department for investigation.

I wrote the corporate office and they confirmed they do not report to any agency. I then called three other stores, who advised me the same, which is not correct. If I had know I would have return their funds to them, but I was told I needed to at least make 90 days of payments before it would be reflected on my credit.Desired Settlement: I want the stores to be able to advise their customers correctly. Thank you for contacting me. Yes I would like resolution for this claim. Since the manager at the Check N Go location in [redacted], gave me wrong information by advising me the high interest loan I was taking out would reflect on my credit report, I accepted the current terms so that my one time payments would benefit me. I am now seeking out another loan to pay them off and would like them to offer me a reasonable settlement minus late fee to close this account out. Currently I am only days late on the 3rd installment and waiting for a credit decision from a different lender. My decision to take out the Check N Go loan was solely based on it reflecting on my credit, and their corporate office has already advised me they do not report to any of the major agencies.
I appreciate your assistance with this matter.
