I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID *** and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. We, disagree with only dealing directly with Sentry Insurance Company We have spoken with management and the local claims representative on several occasions Their total disregard for our property value and the absurd settlement offer is a slap in our face Again, we have over $worth of items in our unit and they offered only $ The bedroom and living room furniture was less than a year old when we put it in storage We met with the Rainbow cleaning people, but still no answer from Sentry We would like to have this issue cleared by next week But we adamantly will require the Revdex.com to post all reports to our account. In, conclusion the coal tar that was used in paving this unit can cause major health problems we would just like to be paid for our items and Sentry can have the merchandise inside.[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]

We disagree with response from Sentry.
Mr*** met today at the unit with the cleaning company and was
informed that they should send an estimate for cleaning based on the items
still in the unit. This is totally wrong
we have taken several pictures of the unit ourselves and Colonial Storage’s
manager Mr*** of all the items contained by this Coal Tar spray that was
usedThere several bags of clothes, books and food items that would not be
considered in the final cleaning cost.
If we had have known that we would have left all items in the unit. The only reason things were moved in the unit
were because Miss Washington needed her programming books to study for an
interview and some clothing to wear.
Miss Washington attempted to wash the clothes to wear to the interview,
but the items caused her skin to itch and have a rash. Concerning the books she tried to read them
but opening the books caused a tingling sensation on her fingers. Due to these incidents we realized that these
items needed to be thrown away for safety reasonsThe lack of caution that wasn’t taken when the storage unit was paved
is no fault of ours. The only thing they
had to do was tape around the door or place something down to absorb the spray. In conclusion, our research has shown that the process used to pave the
unit contains cancer causing agents and can cause respiratory problems. I experienced this first hand when I came in
contact with this soot, and had hard time breathing. Finally, we had over $worth of items in
the unit and they have the audacity to offer $is an insult. The company keeps referring to it as dust,
but it is the coal tar mixed with the gravel and dirt found at the unit. We are hoping to settle this case before
Friday, with an offer that covers our loss. p.sWe have failed a complaint with the Alabama Attorney General
office and the Alabama State Insurance Board.
We received a letter from the Attorney General’s office and they are
also referring the case to the Alabama State Insurance Board. Revdex.com:

RE: *** ***
According to our records, customer *** *** went out to our *** *** ** *** on 4/10/and purchased a total amount of $1,on invoice# *** and paid using *** card ending*** the total amount of $1,The customer
pickthe purchase from our *** ** *** on 5/2/2015. Our records indicated the customer contacted us on 5/11/advising us they realized the furniture was damaged after the customer had taken the merchandise home. Unfortunately, we do not provide service to that area of *** *** ** *** where the customer resides
On 5/23/we authorized a one-time courtesy exchange, agreeing to allow the customer to return the merchandise originally purchased and reselect to new merchandise. The customer refused to cooperate and was unwilling to return the merchandise to us stating they did not wish to make a trip to our Portland, OR WarehouseThey demanded a $credit to keep the merchandise as-is. We did not authorize the credit of $500.00; however we re-offered the courtesy exchange.
The customer disputed the balance of $with their issuing bank, claiming that the merchandise received was “not as described or defective” and the funds where deducted from us on 6/17/15. We responded to the dispute and the bank credited the funds back to us on 7/15/resolving the case in our favor due to our 1,3,Limited Furniture Warranty which states that “Any merchandise that is moved out of our service area will be the responsibility of the customer to transport to the nearest service center for warranty evaluation” as well as the customer’s original signed purchase invoice stating “No refund will be given on orders in the possession of the customer” and “ALL SALES FINAL” provided to the customer at the time of purchase. On 8/19/the bank once again deducted the funds from us as the customer continued to dispute the balance. It escalated to an incoming pre-arbitration case, at which point the bank resolved the case in favor of the customer and removed themselves as the mediator
As of 2/18/the customer has yet to pay us the disputed amount of $and refuses to work directly with us to complete the authorized exchange of merchandise. The customer’s account has been sent to our external collections agency, *** *** for further collection attempts in the amount of $for merchandise received on invoice#: ***
