A review of your was made and as you know, the booking was made by you with the wrong name entered Prior to finalizing your booking, there is a review page that gives you the opportunity to look at all the components of your trip (dates/price/flights, etc)This extra step is to avoid errors.Our Customer Care Representative then tried to correct the name to no luck as per the airline fare rulesThe airline canceled the itinerary and we had to then offer you the new price of the momentThis new fare price was refused
When you then proceeded to purchase another ticket with the airline directly, they made a mistake on the date which is out of our control
Our Customer Care Representative has also left you a message with all this information last week

When choosing your itinerary, you are advised online to review before clicking "Confirm & Book" because its
your responsibility to ensure all is accurateAs we understand that you phoned right away, the booking is sent off instantly to the airline and since the tickets are non-
refundable the fees incur right away For this reason, we have offered to waive our modification fees to make the changes needsThere is still the airline penalty that we have no control over.

As mentioned by our Customer Care Representative, we have investigated your bookingAs stated, there was an exchange on the ticket which replaced the originalA void can only be performed within the first hours of the original
booking
Our phone agent advised you that we could not void the ticket due to the exchange made as we have to follow American Airlines fare rulesThe ticket is unfortunately non-refundable and can only be kept as a Future travel credit that is valid for one year from the date of original issueAt the time of use Airline penalties and difference in fare will apply
We do apologize for the inconvenience that this caused you but as an agency, we need to abide by the rules set forth by the airlines.
