simply not possible unless *** *** gave the new company his verbal pass code to be able to speak with a representative at our companyAs our Cancellation representative explained it is illegal for a company to provide the same service a customer is already under contract with another company forEssentially double billing the customer for the same service. Safe Home Security is more than willing to send our technician to *** ***'s home to reinstall our equipment so *** *** can use the equipment for the remainder of his agreement. If *** *** is unable to accept this resolution, Safe Home Security will accept a buyout in the amount of $to close the accountIf *** ***'s new company is willing to pay this amount, that is something *** *** would need to speak to that company aboutThat is not an obligation of our company, as we under agreement with *** ***, not his new company. I am rejecting this response because: The Revdex.com is obviously not in a position to help in this situation It seems like the Revdex.com doesn't have any authority when the public is being mistreated by these type of companies On my own, I was able to speak with the company myself I've looked into other avenues and will be pursuing them insteadWe are not satisfied with this companies rebuttal but we will not be wasting our time further communicating when nothing is getting done

As the customer is already aware, a verbal cancellation is not valid for closing the accountThis was explained to her when she inquired about canceling in OctoberWe explained written cancellation is required, and how to cancelThe instructions for canceling are also written on the customer's copy of their agreementIf the client can provide proof they sent us a written notice of cancelation (fax receipt, email receipt, certified mail receipt) dated from that time period, we will explore closing the accountThey can attach it to the Revdex.com complaint

I am rejecting this response because: I sent the business a copy of the letter sent to them in the mail, usps, and they (conveniently) claim to have not received it The contract says to send written notice, it does not state that the notice should be sent be any special means Safe home stopped charging the account in September 2024, then started charging (on my checking account) in November I was not aware that the charges were from safe home security, I thought they were from their new security company,***, had I known I would have contacted them myself I still say they are trying to scam my parents and they continue to send them a bill for over $300, all the while refusing to refund my over $they stole , through deception.how o you charge for monitoring when no equipment from your company is connected?i will continue to pursue this through other legal channels.

this response because: In more than months of their people calling me weekly and me telling them that wanted to cancel and have them stop calling me, never once did any of them tell me that I had to send something in writing to cancel. By the way, they were not monitoring anything - all the equipment has been out of my hose for over a year. When we did the remodel and that equipment was taken out we also lost or misplaced our copy of the contract. I told the weekly callers that I did not have a copy of the contract. They all led me to believe that they were cancelling my account and noting that in my file and that they would stop taking money out of my bank account and stop calling me. It was only a caller last week who finally told me that nothing ever happened because to cancel I needed to do it in writing. I told him that I did not have a copy of the contract and he said that he would email me the address where I needed to send the cancellation notice - he never sent it. I finally got the address last night from a new caller, Isaac, so I was able to email a cancellation notice. I have been on a month to month contract since 2015. It feels like the people calling are purposely not canceling me or telling me how to cancel so that they can continue to debit my bank account monthly.

It's not uncommon for verbal authroization to be made on a sales consultation for an alarm system. There is no way for us to pinpoint which representative submitted it, who authorized it, etc. Quite possible it was a mistake. The consumers only option is to go to the ***
website and submit a dispute and it will be processed through the official credit dispute process
