Complaint: [redacted] I appreciate that after no fewer than 8 contacts with SafeHome occurring on at least 4/16/15, 5/22/15, 6/26/15, 7/10/15, 10/29/15 (not all dates recorded) and a complaint to the [redacted] Attorney General's Office and the Connecticut BBB, your company finally sent a technician to repair the security system on 11/9/15. I also appreciate that you provided a monitoring service credit of two months during this period. I do not accept this response because SafeHome charged for monitoring services throughout at least eight months of system failure, which began sometime in early March 2015. The service for which I contracted could not be provided by SafeHome for this period because the system did not work. I am due an additional six months service credit for the period of system failure. This level of restitution does not include the considerable time and effort it has taken me to motivate your company to honor its obligations. I am sorry that your technicians had personal concerns that prevented them from scheduling repairs. This is not pertinent, however, to whether it is legitimate for a company to charge for a service that it did not provide and obligate a customer to this level of persistence to get meaningful resolution. Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because, I have been told in the past (Nov and Dec 2016) that there would be no other bills sent to me and that the account would be closedHowever, month after the contract end date, I received another invoice yesterday, stating that I owe them $95.31, which includes an incorrect balance due, late fee and finance charge as wellAnd a warning that another $would be charged if this is not paid by 1/15/I do not trust the companyI need a written confirmation letter stating that the account has been closed there is no balance due on the accountI also need a final no-balance due invoice that states that all obligations have been met and there is no balance due on the accountAn email to that effect would suffice as wellI do not want to go through this again next month or the next, when I receive another invoice from them and I have to go through this mental harassment another time.Please have them send me an email or a letter stating that I do not owe anything on the account and I will not be sent any more invoices with any payment due, late charges and finance chargesTill such time that I receive this email or letter, I would like to keep this case open, so I don't have to go through this again.Thank you very much.Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Safe Home Security acquired the contract from [redacted] The customer had signed a year contract, in If the customer called [redacted] , they would show his account was not on line, due to the account was being monitored by legacy, not [redacted] The customer contacted thre wrong monitoring company, then switched to ***, while under contract with another company, before verifying the facts of the situationThe account was on line and sending signals The contract is valid, and the account is due and owingIf the Revdex.com would like a copy of the contract and signal history, we will be happy for forward them, for review

I am rejecting this response because: This is completely false! I have emails from *** *** stating my contract was amended on September 23, and that I am no longer under a month contract, but rather on a month to month basisThis is all Safe Home Security does lie, cheat and stealThey know nothing of honesty, integrity, or truthfulnessWhich is why they have a 94% unfavorable rating with the Revdex.comThey will never get another dime out of me! They can take me to court or arbritation, or turn me over to collections, I don't give a damnSafe Home Security is nothing but crooks ,liars and theivesSafe Home Security can do their worst, I do not care, as I am in the right and have documentation to prove it

I am not exactly sure what their response was, all I got was a picture of the form the guy had already filled out before he walked in my door, when I signed I was told I had to keep the
service a minimum of months, the paper was folded in half so all I saw was the signature part, We had only been in the home a few months when the guy knocked on the door claiming that someone had sent him to talk to us, he couldn't provide a name of whom that person was though, he had the top part already filled out and after explaining everything, we were sold that it wasn't something we were stuck to and could, if not using the service, cancel after months. Upon calling to cancel the service, the rep I spoke to on the phone the first time said my account was good and was able to be cancelled, I just had to send in a email requesting it to be cancelledAfter a month or more of not receiving a reply or call or anything, I tried to contact them again, this time spoke to a woman who claimed to be a manager and refused to put me through to anyone else and told me I was stuck with the service even if I didn't need the it, unless I paid them $ he lady said she would have the rep who scammed me into this contract contact me, I am still waiting and no response yet again. So in the long run, I was scammed into getting a service I have to pay for each month or pay them $to cancel a service I don't useI have told them they can have the hardware back, its literally $worth of stuff if even and she told they did not want the hardware back, just the $for the service.I just want this service cancelled and that's it

MS *** RESIGNED WITH THE COMPANY AND IS AWARE THAT THE MONIES THAT SHE PAID WAS FOR A NEW SYSTEMSHE AGREED TO PAY
BECAUSE HER OLD SYSTEM WAS LEFT IN THE HOUSE SHE LIVED IN SO WE INSTALLED A NEW SYSTEM IN THE NEW RESIDENCE SHE OPTED TO SAVE THE MONEY THAT IT WOULD HAVE COST HER TO CONTINUE IN HER OLD AGREEMENTTHANK YOU

To Whom It May Concern,This customer called for a service call because the door sensor was not functioning correctlyThey were explained the fee which they stated they did not want to pay forThey were offered a warranty add on for an additional monthly fee to cover the service charge,
which they declined as wellThe customer than stopped payment on the service and went with a new company. The customer going with a new company while under contract with us, and not following cancellation protocols or the terms of the agreement is not a valid reason to launch a complaint against our companySafe Home Security is at no fault whatsoever in this matterThis is simply a customer that is upset because they do not want to pay for the service, or fulfill the terms of the agreement. This customer is in agreement until May of The agreement will expire once the account has been paid in full. We ask that this complaint be closed as satisfactory.
