I would not recommend AT&T to anyoneWe were customers for over yearsWe have added two lines in recent years for our two children, and our fees have continually increased for no apparent reasonWe decided to switch to Verizon after doing a thorough cost analysis and coverage overview of our areaWe chatted with AT&T online and were told what we needed to do to end our serviceI made a copy of this communication in case I needed itWe went to the Verizon store and transferred our SIM cardsWe kept three phones and transferred service, while we purchased a new phone for the 4th lineUpon inserting the new SIM cards into the transferred lines, the Iphones registered that the phones needed to be unlocked and that we should call AT&TWe called AT&T and were told that our account was no longer active, and that it would take hours to unlock our phonesWe have spent hours on the phone with various AT&T numbers and no one seems to be able to unlock the phonesVerizon has been very helpful, but says that they have never heard of this before

AT&T no showed on TWO confirmed installation appointments After many calls on the day of service AFTER the hour window, I was told by several ATT reps that my "tech is behind but will arrive and our dispatch will be calling you shortly." By pm (local time), no call from dispatch and no tech I called back only to be told, "We're sorry but it appears that a tech was NEVER given this service order."
