You have the option of opting in to the Platepass program at any point before, during, or after your rental agreement. According to our records, you spoke to our customer service department on 7/31 and advised about the opt-in service. Notes on this account indicate that you requested to be opted in and a reduction of $49.92 was applied to the account on 8/5. As a one-time courtesy we have further reduced the balance owed by adjusting the admin fee in its entirely. We do ask you to make payment on the remaining $12.90 for the toll amounts only, as your rental vehicle did travel through these video toll locations. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.
I think the company needs to change their seven day policy. It takes over 10 business days for bay area fastrak to contact the toll roads in southern California to confirm that you have a transponder and to waive the violation charge. I'm still curious to know why my request was denied, I was never contacted and told my request was denied and I notified your company in my first email that I have a transponder.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.The company, ATS, failed to note I sent a line item from my bank statement 1/20/15 and requested a response. They did not respond, via my email provided. It was not until I made ANOTHER attempt to find out what was going on and called the company myself, 2/11/15, and was told my submission had just been reviewed-no mention of more bank info was made by ATS. I sent a check, not wanting to damage my credit, to the company-as noted on my violation form: [redacted], Photo Safety Program, [redacted], [redacted] for $135. And now this SCAM organization states they have sent my bill to collection-when they have a goal to "provide excellent customer service"? This group is not worthy of the Revdex.com rating. When a consumer makes an honest effort to resolve an issue and a company does not answer the phone (ATS number in Tempe), respond to emails, and/or have the common courtesy to accept the information requested-it is sad. Not once did ATS say my bank submission for the payment cashed 12/16/14 needed more back-up. Their customer rep. told me what to send. Now, they are saying the confirmation number provided is not their number-yet the [redacted] does not use another company. So, at this point my check has not been cashed and they have never responded to my requests-yet they have charged me more money and sent my name to collection?

This is a predatory business, please beware.
I received a parking ticket while travelling in a rental car. ATS sent me a letter looking as if they are part of the rental car company ([redacted]) asking me to pay an amount approximately equal to the fine.
I paid the amount, not knowing this was only a "processing fee" to let the city know about my ticket. Later I received an escalated bill for the parking ticket from the issuing city.
Everything about this appears like a scam, they use [redacted]'s name, yet they have no account information from [redacted] and they provide absolutely no service, only collect your money. Please beware!
