Athene customer service is a disgrace Automated phone dumps you on to music and if you are lucky you may get a live person after 10,15,minutes or more Nobody tells you how long it will take or offers to give you a callback A request for simple year end information is shoved back in your face by a team of lawyers that says they want a trust verification, fails to confirm that a page was missing from the fax I sent and has no follow up communication When you try to once again submit the information different customer reps give you different answers and fail to provide the assistance you need Other companies holding my annuities promptly answered the phone and provided competent assistance Not this outfit I would never ever buy anything from them again
I did a free look with Athene, 50,was taken out of my IRA account AUGUST 18,and I decided to cancel the contract under the free look it is December 28, and I have still not received my IRA money back into my accountThe check keeps getting lost in the mail I've ask them to over night it but they keep sending it regular mail!!

This company has had my initial investment from June 2nd two the present I did not receive my contract for three months When contract arrived initiated my free look over period and declined the contract I followed the cancellation procedures as instructed After a week of waiting they informed me that the part in the instructions that states to provide the wiring instructions has been changed as they do not wire funds like it states in the instructions, they require me to submit a new letter of instructions I paid dollars to fed ex for delivery The company is now putting me on hold to receive my funds They keep delaying my refund and this is not legal They need to be held accountable for their unethical practices This started in June and it is now September that they have held my 100k Please help me recover my funds Thx ***
