For some reason it wont let me go to the store in ***, In. But that store is the worse. Dont buy anything from there. I went in the store on december 21,2018 and picked out a bedroom set. Ryan the manager of the store took my order. He told me they didnt have any in stock. But the truck was in the back and there should be 3 on there. He asked me when did I want it. I said before christmas. They brought me a set on christmas eve at about 630 pm. They started carrying up the stairs. I asked them is this a cherry wood set? They said yes. Kept unloading the truck.I took a knife and cut open the smallest box. The wrong set. I told them. They asked if they could leave it because it was christmas eve. They said they would switch it out the day after christmas.I thought they wanted to get home to there families and I said yes. Well the day after christmas I never heard from them. So I went up to the store at 1pm. They told me some more lies. They didnt have in the set I picked.I told Ryan they could come and pick it up. Never heard from them. I had to put a stop payment on my account. The finance company was calling me 4 to 5 times a day. They said I had to work somethin out with them. They told me since the furniture was in my possession I was responsible. I refuse to pay for somethin I didnt want.I kept calling that store and they kept telling me more lies. This furniture sat in my livingroom. From december 24, 2018 till february 19,2019 in the boxes. The finance company kept calling ryan in that store and he finally admitted. They brought me the wrong stuff. The worse and a learning experience of my LIFE...

I went into the Rome location on 2/10/19. The salesperson was friendly and professionals. I purchased a mattress, loveseat and 2 recliners. I was told that the recliners weren't in stock but could be transferred from their Chattanooga location by 2/15/09. I agreed to pay for the items that day but pick everything up together when the recliners arrived. On 2/15/19, I was informed that the recliners were sold by the Chattanooga location and weren't available to be transferred but that they could get them in by 2/18/19. I went to the store on 2/16//19 to pick up the loveseat and mattress and also purchased a dining room set as the same salesperson told me that had a truck coming in on 2/18/19 at 10:00 am that had 3 of the dining room sets on it along with my recliners. I called them today, 2/18/19, and have been informed that none of my items are there for pick up. At this point, they can't, or won't, tell me when my items will arrive. This has not been the best experience in the world and I will NOT recommend this store to anyone.

I was sold s child's bed and it had a million pieces to it.I was to.d by the manager the furniture was made to give if a child jumps in the bed. I'm sure he meant it was poor quality and wouldn't las . I will never buy anything else from this company.if you want a non quality piece then this is the company for you! Furniture is an investment! We are back to square one finding my niece a nice bed. This bed right now is on the floor due to The cheap quality but not a cheap price! I will not buy nothing else from this company! I went to the hwy64 location! Never again!

They do not honor anything they say, the salesman Jack is rude, yells at customers of they ask to many questions, and is just all out rude. I have never been in a store with such rudeness. This is in the *** store on Furniture Row

I bought two rocker recliner loveseats March 2018. Payed cash money, bought the warranty. Tried to file a claim due to problem with them both but the warranty isn’t effective for the first year, the store is responsible for the first year. Called and talked to Ron weeks ago and nothing has been done. I am going to buy furniture this month but will be looking for a different store to buy from! Very dissatisfied with the customer service and Ron!!

While the gentlemen I talked to was polite, he was unable to resolve my issue or provide any sort of solution outside of “I’m sorry”. Purchased a 1,200 couch and love seat set a month ago. I was informed that while American Freight does offer “rip and tear repair” I was never offered the option to buy this, and because it was caused by my animal I can’t pay to have it repaired/replaced. It’s a lid to a center console. So basically even though the service is offered, it’s only to certain people under specific circumstances. For the amount of money I paid this is unacceptable and I will not be making any future purchases from this business.

We purchased a couch and love seat. It wasn’t cheap. I specifically told the salesman since my husband is retired we need a couch w cushions that don’t sink in. After only 2 months the cushions where we sit are so sunken in and look terrible. I payed for the warranty which covers I guess burns, bodily fluids and one other thing. I called the manger who was very nice. I sent him in pictures which show how horrible they look. This has been over a month ago. I have bought a couch from fingerhut for cheap that lasted a long time. This is rediculous I would rather get a different set or maybe mine is defective. The store was *** in *** az. My name is *** and I would appreciate some response!!! I am a very unhappy customer.

We bought a sectional from American Freight in March of 2018 and the whole thing is falling apart from the frame in less than a year! Called them and they said to email them with photos and our information. Nope haven’t even gotten a phone call or email back.

If I could give zero stars I would. This is my second time in there. They are very unprofessional in that building. My god, it’s like a daycare in there. You have employees running around hitting on each other while customers are needing help. Employees using profanity and vulgar language very openly. Walking around on their phones. Oh my, how disturbing to watch for business. I thought I walked into a high school. Ask me did I go to a manager? Most certainly. He gave off this don’t care response. I asked is there anyone above him and I was told “yeah he’s in the back busy”. Busy??? With all this going on in the front????? He walked away and went outside. I attempted to give this business a try after my girlfriends and co-workers told me not to. If someone doesn’t fix this you are forever going to have customer issues. How could anyone allow this in a place of business? You get treated like the customers need the employees when the employees need us customers. Good thing I didn’t apply for the application online before I took a walk inside to see for myself. Most certainly taking my money somewhere else. I will be sure to call during the weekday to get answers from a owner or someone who might not be so busy for the customers’ issues. OH MY!

Really disappointed about customer care. I have purchased house full of furniture from *** MI shop. They promised to deliver all the items on the same day, which they did except the dresser. I paid full amount in cash for the delivery as well. It is been closer to a month now still they did not deliver my dresser. When I call them they say that it will be delivered on that day but never happened until now.

This is a horrible company to work with. we went in we didn't want to buy one of their mattresses that were on the floor we ordered one and they kept telling us after we paid for it that it was on the truck coming in they held our money hostage for three weeks and tried to sell us a different mattress on our first call. we didn't want to entertain that idea so they kept saying it was on next week's truck next week's truck do not go in there if you think you're gonna walk out with anything other than the broken down stuff they have on the floor

PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.....you get charged triple for crappy furniture. They don’t tell you all the hidden fees. This place will rob you dry while you think you have good furniture, it falls apart. Needless to say I’ve asked them to come and get the furniture and they refused to come and get it. I’d rather sleep on the floor than to keep paying for this crap!!!! I would recommend this store to anyone. Go to Ashley’s Furniture, or better yet shop on Walmart.com for furniture, I’m pretty sure it’s better than this crap!!!!

I personally had an indecent with the store manager. His phone etiquette was VERY rude. I called to inquire about my delivery since I was told someone would call me with a time window. I know the store closed at 5pm and it was 2:30pm with still no call. When speaking with CAL (Store manager) I was told my items were not even on the list to be delivery that day (contrary to what I was told the day before). I told him how this was incorrect and he proceeded to say how he would correct it. Two more hours go by and I start to get a little worried because I know from being in the store the previous day I was told that they stop deliveries at a certain time. So now it's 4:30pm (store closes at 5pm on Sundays) I call the store and ask for the associate who helped me (named Blaye) since the Manager Cal was so rude, of course Cal picks up, and says he's not here then proceed to just hang up. So then I get pissed, I then asked my boyfriend to call (since I am a female and I thought it would have been a better exchange man to man) and Cal picks up again. My boyfriend says he wants to check on a delivery, Cal asked for the name, once mine is given Cal goes, oooooh and then hangs up. My boyfriend calls two more times for the phone to be picked up and hung up once more and then no answer. At this point it's 4:45pm and I have no idea what's going on with my purchase. I hop in my car and head to the store. Once I walk in I see two gentlemen at the counter and I walk up and ask is either of you name Cal, Cal looks at me and says me. I then proceed to ask him why was his phone etiquette so rude and he immediately starts to go off saying how he has so many customers (mind you there is only two people in the store) and how no customer is better then the other. I said I never said I was better and he is still going off saying he doesn't have time for this and is now repeating the question "do you want a refund". In this process my boyfriend asked to be on the phone (on speaker) since this is a male-female exchange and also ask Cal why did he hang up on him. Cal is still yelling and states that they are having phone problem (points to the back) and says they are working on it now (I look in the back and there is no one there). In the mist of the argument I am still asking as the manager how he could be so rude and how he could argue with a customer, he never gave me an answer he just kept saying "do you want. a refund". Never in my life have I had such HORRIBLE HORRIBLE customer service. This man who calls himself a manager and no regard for normal human to human respect and defiantly doesn't deserve the position he is in. I should have know better because after reading the reviews for this store I should have stayed away. I felt so uncomfortable when speaking with him, he was so aggressive and at times I even felt scared. This is the worst store I have EVER had and I plan to NEVER go back or do any business with American Freight.

My husband and I purchased a whole living room set. Recliner, loveseat, two end tables, and coffee table. It was made clear at the time of purchase that we needed the furniture before the new year. We even we so far as to offer to pay full price for the display couches and were denied because, “they could sell 10 of those couches before they even get them restocked.” Well we decide to order the couches when we were assured that they would be delivered in two weeks. We call after two weeks and we were told that it was running behind and that we would have it bythe 1st for sure. NOW I just called the day after Christmas as I need to have the couches by the new year and the manager says that the date of delivery is now moving even further again!, to January 15th. I expect when I spend $2000 with a store that they can atleast own up to there side of the contract of sale. I would never come here again after I cancel my order.

used the lay away deal,dim lit warehouse hard to read form I signed, sales guy basically led us to think once furniture paid for no more auto payments to come out(6 months). Come to find out it stated if wasn't paid for in 3 months we would pay double the cost!! Stay away from this place, I am refusing to pay te other 450.00 I think we were mislead(i gues I should have taken a magnify glass and flashlite to read, we are on fixed income but this taught me to not buy til you have the money, finance company American first got a little richer--shame on me for trusting sales people when forms are hard to read!!!

I am in my 50s and have purchased MANY items over those years.
I would have to say this was the absolute worse experience I have ever had.
I had to rate this one star because zero star was not available. It was that bad!
They lie to you on delivery dates and don't tell you about delivery fee ($100 in cash) until the day of delivery.
My initial order was to be delivered that day. Long story, NO, it was delivered 12 weeks later. During that time, I called 8 times over 10 week period. Same routine. "Truck coming in, they will check, and give me a call back." NEVER called me back on any of those 8 times.
Two days after I received the furniture, problem with two of the pieces. After a few calls, emails, and pictures, they agreed to reorder the two items. Yes, I was told 2 - 4 weeks for delivery. I WISH!
11 weeks later. YES 11, I finally got resolution. However, during those 11 weeks, another 8 calls to 3 different individuals and same process for each person. "The will check trucks coming in, will call you back." NEVER EVER got call back.
Finally was asked to come in and MUST pick new items as the original are no longer being sold. This only happened because I continued to call them back. Had to settle for something that I did not really want. (All sales final policy.)
Run as FAST and FAR as you can away from this company!

Horrible!!! My sectional I purchased from them for over $1000 didnt last two years! The springs calapsed and so did the cushions. Stay away from them. Their furniture is very poorly made.

I went into the Dallas location and purchased a queen bed on Oct. 20 from a gentleman named (Cedric). After paying in full that day I was told “it was not in stock and it would take 2 weeks to come in”. Not once has the Dallas location reached out to me l’ve had to continually call them. The first person I talked to told me it would be in Monday of last week or this Monday(which has passed). Then I talked to another guy last week, on the phone trying to see if my queen bed would be here this Monday he said they could deliver it on Thursday which is Thanksgiving and I told him that wouldn’t work for me. He said “I’ll call you back and see what we could do”, but never did. So I called back and I talked to another person who then told me that the bed hadn’t even come in....I’ve talked to three different people including someone at the Grand Prairie location who was also unhelpful (Teresa). Yesterday when talking to Teresa I was told that they would upgrade my bed to one that was in stock and it would be delivered the same day and here it is a day later and I still don’t have a bed.

I bought a dining room table, 4 chairs, three end tables, two full size couches and a rocker reclining. I also purchased a five year warranty. Three of the kitchen chairs have had to be repaired. Plus, one of the couches frame has broken and cannot be reclined. Called the store several times just to be redirected to insurance claims at Guardian. After pictures and written statement I was told ... Sorry we only cover cosmetic issues.
Called store back again just to be told... Sorry over a year. I spent a lot of money there just to have things fall apart, have the extra insurance I was charged and paid for turn me away and the store to tell me... Sorry can't help you
