I got bed set October 27th I hadnt had but month it broke they gave me another one it broke again terrible furniture

HORRIBLE!! Do not buy anything here. I went to the store in St. Pete, Fl and purchased Livingroom, table and a trundle bed at the end of August. Every single piece of furniture is falling apart and its only been 5 months! Granted, I know its discounted and I did not purchase the warranty...HOWEVER....furniture is supposed to last more than 5 months. We dont abuse it, we dont jump on it ...nothing. Just normal sitting and sleeping. I can see if maybe it was 1 piece of furniture...but its every single piece. The table tops have some kind of fake sticker topping that is peeling off, the legs are coming apart from the tables and the sofa. The trundle beds planks all cracked in half and coming apart from the frame...we are normal weight..this should not be happening. How in the world did they get a Revdex.com good rating! I called and theres nothing they can do. Furniture should last more than 5 months..EVERYONE...READ THE REVIEWS DONT GO THERE. I wouldnt even give it 1 star, but it wouldnt let me leave the review without doing so.

crap company I purchased a sofa and love seat. After I got them realized way to big for my space. No returns ok. I then asked to take the extended warranty off seeing how I need to sell them now and take a huge loss. Was told nope a week later you can not cancel a warranty. What kind of company is this? Any others you can with in 30 days or return. Buyer beware never buy from again.

To Revdex.com:On 1-3-2020 I went to American Frreight furn store and asked for a twin size bed with storage or a drawer on the bottom, I said it threetimes that I need a bed with a drawer on the bottom and I had a picture of it on my phone. I paid $438.96 for a bed and mattress.When I got home and my son in law was putting the bed together, I stopped him cause I didn't see a drawer, so the next day I went backto the store and I asked for a manager. I told him that I had a complaint from one of this workers, who sold me a bed and mattress withno storage or drawer, than the worker walked up and said that he was trying to save me money on the bed that he sold me. The managerlooked up on line and that the bed that I wanted would be $100.00 more money but that all I would have to pay is $50.00 more, and he said that he was sorry, but that the bed would have to be ordered, and I would have in 3 weeks but to keep the bed I have until my right onecomes in, then I can bring th one that I had back and pick up the one with a long drawer under it. He also said to keep the mattresscause it would fit. This was 1-6-2020, no calls so I called them on 1-17 and still no bed. Called again on 1-21, 1-22. I went into the storeto get a refund and they made me keep the mattress but would return the money in a check but no cash and send some of the moneyback on to my credit card. I still did not get the bed that I wanted, and they had my money and bed for three weeks. Thank You!
The customer returned the bed on 1/25/2020. American Freight issued a full refund for the amount paid for the bed of $268.42 ($214.74 was refunded by company check, $53.68 was refunded back to the customers card). The company check refund was requested on 1/25/2020 and was mailed directly to the customers home on 1/29/2020.
I purchased a leather living room set as well as a bedroom set totaling $1400.00. I also paid $200 for a 5 year warranty. I was informed that the furniture will be delivered on Friday January 17th I took of work and missed out on money waiting all day to get a call saying my bed set was broken but they are on the way with the other items. I set around and waited resulting in no furniture delivery. I spoke with the manager and he said he doesn’t know when they told me the bed set was broken because it wasn’t they just didn’t deliver due to the weather that day. Then when they finally did deliver Wednesday January 21st they sent me a queen size bedroom set with no chest which I was informed I paid for and my living room couch had scraps and scratches all over it. I feel I shouldn’t have to pay full price for something terribly damaged. I paid for a long size bed set and was sent a queen size set. I have missed out on money and wasted time I want my money back and to report their unprofessional behavior
The customer returned all of the items and will be issued a full refund of those items.
On July 2, 2019, I went to the store in Stone Mountain after seeing an ad for $50 down and same day delivery. When I get to the store, I select everything that I want, and find that the caveat to the money down is financing. So, I apply, and am immediately approved (I forget the total amount), but told the rep that I had what I needed and didn't need the full amount approved. Now, the rep that I worked with name was Ashley. What I signed for totaled $2605.98. I asked if there were any prepayment penalties to which she said no. She said I would receive a call from the finance company welcoming me and telling me what my monthly payments would be. She said I could pay if off early to avoid interest and said I had like 100 days to do so. NEVER did she mention that if I did not take the early pay option, that I was not purchasing my furniture and at that point I would be in a lease. Now, here I am today, calling American First to make my final payment of what I believe to be 119.02, only to find out that since I did not pay off early, I do not own my furniture and owe over 4K!!! When I call American First to see what the error is, to be informed no error, and I should have read the contract that I signed. I signed the contract yes. However, I signed based on my conversation with Ashley that I was paying 2605.98 with 50 down. Never to be told that 2605.98 would turn into over 9k on a lease option if I did not pay in 100 days. That is fraudulent and predatory behavior by not being clear as to what could happen. I feel totally mislead. The lie of omission is still a lie. If you have American Freight representing American First and this is how you make your money, it is certainly not fair. Yes, I should have read the contract. I take ownership of that, but I believed what the representative told me. I would have never signed up for 9k payment on furniture that is only worth what I originally agreed to. I had just moved into my home, so credit was not an issue. The excitement of having a same day delivery so I could have furniture was the draw, only to find out I was mislead.
The customer made a purchase with American Freight using American First Finance. Prior to completing the purchase the customer electronically signed their contract with American First Finance. This contract lists all payment information and terms and conditions of the contract. Upon completing the contract the customer is provided with a copy of the contract from American First Finance to the email address they provided during their application.
If the customer has any questions about their American First Finance account they will need to contact American First Finance directly @ .
Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: you haven't said anything different than what I said. Yes, I signed the contract. My complaint is that the lie of omission is still a lie. They did not say that if I did not say that I was leasing furniture, or if I did not take the early buy out, $2,000 furniture becomes $9,000 furniture. I signed a sales invoice expecting the contract to read the same as the invoice. Yes I should have read it. Yes I know all of that. My complaint is the contract did not match what I was told. The verbal contract is still a contract.

When I purchased my furniture I was sold an extended warranty for a living room set by American Freight that was explained to me
would cover the furniture set for 5 years after my purchase. It was explained to me if my furniture was damaged in anyway within the 5 years that it would be replaced with a new furniture set. After only 4 years I started to notice the sectional losing its plush and it started ripping in all the seams. The foundation of the sectional has started to rip and the wooden frame is now exposed. The cushion covers are torn in the zipper area. This is the worst furniture I’ve ever purchased. I reached out to the store and was redirected to a third party organization who have told me that if my claim is approved that I will not receive a new set they may only provide a repair service. I was told that American Freight has told
other customers this in the past and they don’t understand why, further more even though the extended warranty was for 5 years and this is only my 4th my claim will most likely deny due to untimely filing of a invoice in which American Freight could have provided but did not. Needless to say I was ripped off, they persuaded me to purchase an insurance coverage/extended warranty under false pretenses. They should not tell customers they will get a brand new furniture set knowing at this point that’s not correct. I was also told they guarantee it after I questioned the salesperson about the plan. Needless to say I searched to see if there has been other complaints and of course there are. Scam artistry at its best. You can not even speak to a store manager there and get a dignified response or satisfying resolution. Moving forward compromising quality and good customer service to save a few bucks just to end up
being scammed is not worth it

I bought a warranty for my furniture. When I sat down on it, a board in the back of the couch broke. I filed a claim and they responded stating that my warranty does not cover damage that has occurred during normal use but will cover damages from accidents that I cause. How in the world does that make sense? So if I "accidently" drop the couch down the steps, which is my mistake, and it breaks they will cover it but if it breaks from poor quality they won't pay for it? Come on. I guarantee that if I said that I accidently dropped it and it broke they would tell me that my warranty does not cover that because it was my fault and that it only covers breakage due to workmanship. This furniture company and their warranties are a sham. DO NOT EVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.
PS I had to leave a star in order to leave this review. I would not give it one star if I didn't have to.

I put a bed set on layaway. The layaway was paid off and I was told that it was none in stock and that I would be contacted when it became available. After layaway was paid-off I waited a couple of months didn't hear anything so I went to the store and was told it that it had been delived to my address. We never received a delivery to my address and they could not provide me with a signature or invoice. I went into the store on June 2, 2018, spoke with the Manager. I felt as if he did not send the information so I contacted the District Manager. They said that they would notify corporate office of my complaint. District Manager called me on June 5, 2018, stating that he would look into situation. I called again on June 6, 2018, so pretty much I had gotten the runaround and had given up on getting my bed set. No one ever called or rectified the situation. In order to have it delivered I would have had to pay the delivery fee. When I went to store that is what I was attempting to do when they said that is what delivered.
American Freight will refund the customer.

This place is a crock of garbage and will never see another dime of me or anyone else that I can tell! My order has been paid in full for a week and I still do not have all my items. They swore the items would be In Thursday, 1/2/2019, I rent a U-Haul to go get the things the next day 1/3/2019 and they are Still not All there. They offer to deliver the items that are still not available between 10am-6pm on 1/4/2019. After calling that morning and afternoon and being blatantly lied to they finally call back about 5pm to state that they had just received the items at the store, AFTER I’d been waiting ALL DAY for them to get here. I call and speak to a manager who states that they had some discrepancies and the items are sure to be delivered today 1/5/2019. Here we are at almost 4pm on a Sunday afternoon and they still have not arrived with my items. Things that, again, have been paid in full and I have received NOTHING BUT LIES from everyone that works there. It’s like it’s fine until they get your money and then of course, all sales final, which I don’t really care about but can I at least get the products that I’ve paid for. At 8months pregnant this is the most frustrating thing I have had to deal with and it is not fair. The people here can’t even be honest about what’s going on. ill be taking this as far up the American Freight ladder as I can. I refuse to let anyone else be treated this way by these conniving liars if I can help it. This is just down right ridiculous.

Do not buy from this company! I made a purchase over 3 weeks ago. So far, they promised it was in stock, then I paid in full, suddenly its out of stock. Since then they made a partial delivery of the wrong items bought, they promised to follow up which they have not. They have made no offer to make this deal right and reaching corporate is a simply mountainous enterprise.
I am filing complaints with the Revdex.com, Dekalb County Ga, and will make sure the public knows this company is run by criminals.

If I could give a complete 0 I would! I bought a living room suit, and Kitchen table and chairs, they said the warranty would cover scratches, tares, Scotchgard. But when I tried to just get my stuff fixed they never responded! Here I am 1 year later with furniture that is broken down

I purchased a rocker/recliner chair with an extended warranty from American Freight. The chair lasted less than a week before it broke due to a cheap design. I filed a claim. The manager said that it could take up to 30 days to process. I waited 30 days and went into check on it. They said that they would have a chair in within a week. I waited a week and went back in to check on it. They said that there was never a warranty claim placed so I made sure that it was placed this time and received a receipt that said it could take up to another 30 days. I waited another 30 days and still have not heard anything. It has been over 67 days since I filed a claim and have not received anything, not even a phone call or letter.

I am writing to express extreme dissatisfaction with American Freight located at *** Fort Lauderdale, FL.
I recently moved into a high-rise Condominium. My unit is on the 4th floor. I decided to patron American Freight on 12/5/19 and I must say, that I was foretold by friends that this company does not have quality furniture.
However, my family has ordered from this company and I myself previously ordered a large dresser and did not have any issues. The shopping experience was pleasant. I was prepared, since I took screenshots of the furniture I wanted. It was just a matter of showing the salesman the pictures and verifying if the items were in stock. My order consisted of 3 bedroom sets and a dining table set.
I had no interest in buying a living room set because I did not find any appealing. In the long run, I am thankful I ended up patronizing another company to order a living room set.
So, as I mentioned the 3 bedroom sets, along with the dining table set amounted to $2,331. I was given the option for delivery plus assembly at $140 cash only. To simplify my move-in, I opted for the delivery with assembly. Little did I know, my misfortune would begin.
On the day of delivery 12/7/19, my co-worker along with my 2 children (son 11 years, daughter 10 years old) were present. My coworker and children can attest as witnesses. The delivery drivers, (2 men with a husky build, standing over 6ft tall and weighing up to 200 pounds) were setting up the furniture and one of them happened to ask me "Where do we put the boxes?" My coworker, had a puzzled look on her face and advised "Their supposed to take the packages with them." I told the men that I would check with the property manager if the boxes can be thrown in the dumpster. I called the property manager, in which he explained the men have to take the boxes with them because the large boxes will take up too much space and the garbage that exits the trash chute will overfill. I relayed this information to the delivery men, and the darnest thing happened in which he began to complain amongst his colleague that the building has a big dumpster yet they cannot throw out the boxes. I admit that his reaction left a negative impression on me. Consequently, I was not leaving a tip! In fact, I became concerned to the point that I felt I should follow the men to assure that they indeed take the boxes. It took me roughly 5 minutes to lock up my unit after the men left/ finished their job. To my surprise, I did not find them loading the boxes back in their truck. Instead they were already in their truck driving off.
Later that night, my property manager called me and said all the boxes were left in the dumpster. He even took pictures of the dumpster and advised that I would be fined for leaving the boxes. I was absolutely mortified! I immediately took action to physically remove the heavy boxes out of the dumpster. In the process of removing the heavy cardboard, I cut my finger and endured smelling foul if not toxic air. I left the boxes to the side of the dumpster and took photos. The next morning 12/8/19 I called the delivery drivers, and left a voice message but my phone call was never returned. I contacted American Freight and reported the incident. I was met with the explanation that the drivers are a separate business "***" and that I would have to speak with the owner, ***. I requested further information of the business entity address, in the event if I need serve papers to file a lawsuit. I was told that I would use American Freight's address. Not once was I ever contacted by the owner. A few days later, on the evening of 12/12/19 I received the fine via mail totaling $150.00
I left work early to come in person on 12/13/19 to resolve the fine. The store manager Antoine, took a photo of the fine and attempted to reach the owner. After waiting nearly 10 minutes the store manager provided me his direct telephone number and told me to call him if I do not hear from the owner. On December 14th at approximately 4pm I called the store manager after I did not hear from *** practically all day. I believe *** did not have the intent to apologize or call me on this critical matter. I urge Corporate office to review the phone call with Antoine if the line is recorded. Antoine stated, that the owner was told from his drivers that my 11 year old son (weighing less than 100 pounds, and standing at 5ft 2 inches) disposed the boxes into the trash chute and the boxes that were too large to fit in, he physically threw into the dumpster. Antoine put the owner on the phone but I was outraged at the blatant lies and drove to the store. In person, the owner further stated that he did not need to deal with me or apologize until he saw proof of the letter.
The lack of customer service and empathy was beyond incredible. The effort to resolve was futile. The only person willing to correct ***'s Moving company was Antoine. Eventually, I was given a check written out to my Association but that was after I declared seeking legal counsel. The experience with American Freight and *** was disgusting. If American Freight truly cares about their clients and reputation, they need to instill having their own delivery service that prides in having integrity and not using a deceitful 3rd party business.

came into your Montgomery Alabama store last week and saw mattresses we liked, gave a down payment to put them on layaway.
today 12/6/2019 decided to go and get the mattresses, mattresses were sold never put aside on lay away as told, and was also told if we have waited another couple of days we would not have gotten mattresses or a refund. Now we are being told refund would take up to 2 weeks. If we gave you your required down payment to place items on lay away, why wasn't they immediately
taken off sales floor and set aside. Now that you didn't have the items, why not accommodate me by not trying to "upsale me"and refund my money from your store. I have my receipt that you gave me for the down payment to do lay away.
Also most business attitude is ok we made a mistake let's see how we can make this right for you the customer..your store staff attitude was like I could careless about you not getting your mattresses or a refund. your staff make one feel like its a shady place to do business.
American Freight requested this customers refund on 12/6.This refund was processed and mailed (directly to the customers home) on 12/11.
I reviewed the company response, getting my money back is what I wanted, but they need to give their employees an intergrity training.
will never shop there again nor recommend this store to anyone.
If I could provide a negative 5 stars I would. They smile in your face and lie to you about the product. They tell you it's great - but its crap. I brought a livingroom set 2 weeks ago. The ottoman broke when my 60 lbs nephew sat on it. I had to call 6 times. They were rude as hell. I am supposed to be getting a new ottoman today but I have to go pick up and they offered me some crappy lamps. I placed a dispute with my cc company and when I told them the store finally called to exchange I was told by my bank to leave the claim open because sometime that company doesn't honor what they say. It's a shame even the bank knows what a *** this store is.I have a good friend who works for a news station and they have a segment about bad local companies here in Richmond. If they dont make this right everyone will know how horrible they are. I will post again to update what happens today when I try to exchange. I was going to buy 8 dinning room chairs from them. After this mess wont be purchasing there

I bought a sectional from this place on 10/25/19 after a week the arm broke on it. I called the place I got it from they said there’s nothing they can do and I had to make a warranty claim thru the warranty I paid for with it. I also reached out to a regional manager and was told he was in p.a and was at a store that had the part that broke and he would bring it to the store in ***, ny that I got it from and would call when I can pick it up. I have yet heard anything back from anyone and still have a damaged sectional. So I went ahead and repaired it myself with glue and screws. I would request that I get a full or parcel refund for the sectional.
American Freight will replace the damaged piece and give the customer a $300 refund.

I was immediately after I walked in, The manager approached me and was very helpful. I knew within minutes what I wanted to buy and was out of there pretty quick. I came to pick up my items within an hour. I highly recommend this place
