I ordered a bedroom set from this company last year July. However, I set up a delivery date for September 2018 because I was scheduled to move in an apartment which ended up being cancelled (did not move anymore). Days before scheduled move in and delivery date, I contacted the store to advise them I was no longer moving and to cancel the delivery (which is done through a 3rd party). A guy named Carlos from the ***, FL location stated he would cancel the delivery and also advised me that I can leave my furniture at store until I was ready for it because they have free storsge. The furniture I paid $1332 for by the way. Fast forward to the supposed to have been cancelled delivery day; I get a call from the delivery guys asking for my address in which I stated, I cancelled the delivery with the store already. He responded okay, and we hung up. That was that.
From time to time, I would call to make sure furniture was still there. Spoke to several people and everything checked out. Then one day, im getting told its shown as delivered. There was no delivery made and I did not move. My furniture was supposed to be at the store! For months, I called the store and was being told every time the manager, Mike will call u back. I finally get in contact with him, and now he's telling me he's going to have to get loss prevention and corporate involved since its been so long. No call back from Mike after he's alleged research process. So I called yet again to follow up on furniture they lost, resold, or the delivery company stole. Mike tells me its out of his hands and I have to call corporate because they have an address to where it was delivered. How do you have a delivery address when I NEVER confirmed it when the delivery company called?
I spoke with Jay from corporate and he couldn't even tell me where it was delivered. He tells me he needs PROOF that it wasnt delivered. What proof could I possibly give you that I do not have the furniture. And the fact that he couldn't give me an adress tells me they are LYING! Jay was supposed to call the store manager Mike. Needless to say, its been 2 weeks and I haven't heard anything. Ive called Jay several times, no call back.
I've used American freight before and never had this issue before. I have NO furniture and lost $1332. Now I have to spend my hard earned money again to purchase another set because they do not want to take accountability for losing my set or the delivery company lying about it being delivered. Answer this: what company delivers furniture without confirming the address and GETTING A SIGNATURE.
Since I could not get this issue resolved in the proper manner. I will be filing a police report. Either I want a refund, my furniture, or im filing a police report. I still have the receipts that I paid for the furniture through American Finance.

I purchased 2 couches and a recliner from American Freight on September 03, 2018. I got the furniture financed through American First Finance which totaled $2,009.65. I didn't have the furniture 2 months before I had to contact them and go through a very long process because the recliner on one of the couches and the chair had broke. It took months for my furniture to be replaced. Now, I have the same issue with a recliner on the replacement couch. Just a few days ago I filed another claim with American Freight which is going to take at least another 30 days before I hear anything back from them. My issue here is that it hasn't been 1 full year yet and I've already had to file 2 claims, wait months the whole while continuing to have to make payments on the furniture that is clearly not worth the price.
The customer filed a manufacturers warranty claim that has been approved for replacement on the items by the manufacturer. American Freight will honor the a full replacement of the damaged items, but is not able to cancel the financing agreement between the customer and American First Finance.

I purchased a sofa and recliner from this business about 2 months ago. I have received the sofa but no recliner. When I call I keep getting the runaround. I want my recliner. I have bought and paid for it. Manager keeps saying any day now well any day now has come and gone. He told me last Sunday that he would upgrade the one I purchased with another one. Well that has not happened either. I WANT MY RECLINER,NOW, NOT ANOTHER 2 MONTHS.
American Freight will upgrade the customer to an in stock recliner at no additional charge. The customer can contact either Kayla or Jeff at the store location to make arrangements.

We purchased 2 bedroom sets and a couch and loveseat on 6/5/19. We had missing parts on 1 bed and incorrect parts on the other bed. We spoke to the store manager who sold us the furniture about the problem several times and he kept saying he would have them deliver us the correct parts. We also have been emailing back and forth because after calling several times we would leave a message for him but he never returned the call. The last email we received from the store manager was on July 28th stating the following "What i've decided to do, is to just have a whole new Nelson bed transferred to me from a sister store we have in greeneville. The transfer truck will be here tomorrow, and you will be on your new bed all set up in less than a couple of days. Ive had this transfer in movement for about a week now but I just got confirmation that it is officially happening. Thank you for your patience while I was figuring this whole thing out". As of today 8/23/19 we have not received or heard from them since. Very unhappy with the service we were provided and just want our beds put together that we've been paying for the past 2 months.
American Freight will have the missing items available by Sunday (9/1) and will contact the customer to arrange for a FREE drop off and assembly for the inconvenience.

Being double billed and my furniture didn't even last 3 weeks
Iam very disappointed, I stared a contract in May of 2019 with Americans freight about 3 weeks after I called them and told them that I was paying on furniture that was coming apart I got the run around for 2 and half months. Also your company takes 1 time payments and enrolls them in auto pay when that is not what I authorize I have two payment pending right now and I only authorize 1. I'm just very disappointed I don't even want the furniture anymore

American Freight does not take payments for American First Finance accounts, these payments are directly with American First Finance. I purchased my set in November 2018 plus an 5 year warranty as of February 2019 the cushions started sinking and the frames I took it up with them but all they did was give me cushions I have asked them many times to replace my set as per warranty and they are rude and will not help or lies about getting it taking care of but they don’t
American Freight has already replaced the cushions for the customer back in April of 2019. American Freight can either replace the cushions again for the customer, or refund the customer the money paid for the sofa and loveseat. The customer can contact the store directly and speak with the store manager, Khal, with their decision.
They refunded my money for the sofa I have not yet to receive funds on debit card if funds are not refunded in timely matter I will file another claim

My wife and and I bought our living room furniture in Feb 2017, we bought a 5 year EXTENDED Warranty on all 3 items (Couch, Love Seat and Recliner) for what we were told would cover all mechanical, rips at seams and peeling of fabric. We called in July 2019 spoke Jesus to complain about issues on the recliner. We were told we needed to send an email to the store directly with pictures of the issue, we did do. We waited 3 weeks no one contacted us from the store. Finally contacted the store again and were told we needed to file a claim with *** Protective Products. We filed a claim with *** and they had no record of our policy, they had to contact American Freight Furniture to get policy number. Which by the way we never received a copy of the policy from *** as we were told we would when purchased the EXTENDED Warranty. *** denied claim saying policy basically covered stains and accidentally punctures. We called back to store spoke with Andrea explained situation again about how we were sold an 5 year EXTENDED Warranty for the recliner. Again told manufacturer warranty only good for 1yr. Explained we were sold the 5 Year EXTENDED Warranty. We were given the run around from the beginning of this complaint.
American Freight has spoken with the customer and will provide them money off a replacement chair to cover the cost of the warranty paid.

The product purchased by the customer on 2/10/17 came with a 1 year manufacturers warranty that covered manufacturers defects. This manufacturers warranty expired on 2/10/18. The protection plan purchased by the customer provided a 5 year warranty from accidental rips, tears, stains, and burns. The protection plan purchased does not cover peeling of fabric.
American Freight will offer the customer a discount on a replacement recliner equal to the amount paid for the protection plan covering the chair ($99.95), or will refund the customer that amount.
We bout 3 table set and 2 sofas and then we bought the guardian plan and the employee led us to believe that they would cover any accidents that damaged the furniture but when we filled out a clam they looked for any excuse so reject the clam and they would not refund the money for the plan so basically they stole our money

Purchased headboard on 07/30/19, delivered 08/02/19 manufacturer defect of faded discolored headboard. Contact store s/w Thomas , who initially stated new headboards were to be delivered and he would call me when they arrived . S/w him again on 08/05/19, he then stated headboard would be replaced after 30'days as per warranty. He would call me when decision made. Sorry I ever dealt with this store.Never again. I bought new mattresses and box springs from here. The fabric is tearing on the box springs and the mattresses springs are broken down. I haven't had the stuff 8 months. I called them and they said they don't have a warranty on any of their stuff. Their website states that everything has a manufacturer warranty. They refuse to replace my two mattress and box spring sets.
American Freight carries many different products in which some come with a manufacturers warranty if provided by the manufacturer. American Freight does not control which products the manufacturers place a warranty on, nor does it advertise ALL products to have a manufacturers warranty in place. However, American Freight will provide the customer with a 1 time replacement of their damaged products.

My fiancé and I purchased a sectional couch and an ottoman from American Freight in 2016. With both pieces of furniture we purchased an additional 5 year extended warranty for approximately $100.00 for each piece of furniture. The salesman who was assisting us advised me that the warranty would cover anything that could happen to the furniture. A couple years in the support on the couch started to go, and the middle of the ottoman started to sink inwards. I submitted a warranty claim on the couch as the ottoman was the least of our worries. I contacted American Freight to obtain some additional information needed from the original receipt which at this point we do not have. I submitted the claim in the summer of 2018, we are now in the last month of Summer of 2019 and I have not yet heard anything back about the warranty claim that I purchased and a replacement sectional.
The customer filed a manufacturers warranty claim which was valid for 1 year. Their original claim was denied because it was outside of their original warranty period. The protection plan the customer purchased did not cover the type of damage that occured to the product. American Freight will however provide the customer with a 1 time swap-out, which the store has scheduled with the customer to be completed this week.

I purchased a king size bedroom set and mattress for over $2400.00 on May 11,2019 now it's the end of July and still nothing, and that's not to include the fee for delivery of $150.00 .I live in Maryland and this is complicated.
American Freight is unable to find a purchase under this customers name, phone number, or email address provided within the complaint. Please have the customer provide their purchase details or their receipt so we can assist the customer with this issue.
I purchased a sectional in 2018 and I paid the 99.00 extra for warranty and protection plan. The salesman told me that if I have an issue like the pillows sinking in or frame cracking call them and they will fix or replace the couch. Early this year I called the store they were rude and told me to go to website *** procetion and file and claim. I tried to do that and was working with this lady for several months who in the end never returned my call and one lady saild it looks like they never put in any information on file about registering me for the p lan. so I asked what was I supposed to do then she told me that even if I did have it they would not replace the couch. Ihave not heard anything else since then.

American Freight has spoken with *** directly. *** has an account with this customer and stated that the customer filed their claim on 7/29. *** has requested a copy of the receipt and photos of the reported damage in which they have yet to receive from the customer. American Freight has sent over a copy of the receipt to *** for the customer, all the customer needs to provide are the photos as requested by *** in which they need to send to them directly. If the customer has questions about their claim they can contact *** directly at .
I ordered a recliner from this company and they told that the delivery fee was going to be $50. When they delivered it, I was charged $85.00. I did pay it. I used my debit card. When I called the store they told me the $50 charge was only if I had it delivered the same day, but they never told me that in the store. They also charged me a layaway fee of $34.11 but the recliner was never in layaway. I just picked out the chair that I wanted and had it delivered.

On April 20th I decided to purchase/finance furniture from American freight. I selected the furniture and some of the items were not in stock. They were set to be received at this particular location by April 22nd. I received all call on April 23rd letting me know my furniture was in store. I went back and forth about getting delivery for about two weeks. They said the delivery charge would be at least $120 and another $20 based on my miles and the floor that I lived on. I was finally able to get means of transportation to receive my goods and on that day-
June 8th my items were STILL not in stock. After waiting three hours, they did not have two of the three items in stock. One being the full size bed. The representative suggest I choose another bed. I declined. I asked if they had the display bed available and if so would they give it to me at a discounted price for the inconvenience. The rep agreed to discount the bed by $50.For the inconvenience of not having the lamp they were going to have it delivered the following Tuesday. I
called the following Thursday to get an updated status and they said that they still didn't have the lamp and that I could go to a neighboring store to pick up what they had in stock. I declined because this particular store is already 24 miles from me. I requested the lamp be sent to this store and I would pick it up later in the week. When I picked the lamp up the following Saturday I requested the manager to discuss my concerns and inconveniences. At that time I also made them aware that the $50 credit had not yet reflected on my account. This rep stated that he would print out my account overview and leave it for the manager to review. The manager was out but would return my call the next day at the latest. I have called the store several times over the past few weeks and the manager is never available and no one can give me any answers or satisfaction.
American Freight has provided the customer with their lamp and has requested a $50 principal reduction to the customers American First Finance account.

My wife and I bought a matching love seat and recliner from them around the first of the year and so far to date we have had to have the love seat replaced 3 times. The stuff is cheap made and wont hold up to much of anything. I don't suggest buying from them on anything at all. I had to wait on them for 3 days to bring my replacement out and they kept giving me the run around about bringing it out. One guy said it was going to be around 10;30 to 11:00 Friday night then he said we would be the first one on Saturday then he said he didn't check the truck and it wasn't on their so he had to go back to get it and he would call me in 30 mins.....but I never heard a word so I called him and he gave me another guys number to call....anyway we finally got it around 2 or 3 Sunday afternoon and I hope it last cause it this one breaks i'm getting my money back...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Extremely disappointed of the Rude customer service from staffs. We purchased a dining set, sofa set, and dresser with a 5 year warranty. We paid in full and also plus cash to delivery drivers. We had our dining set and sofa delivered next day. We had option to pay additional $50 for them to assemble our dining set. We decided to assemble it on our own. For two of the four chairs, the legs were short so the chairs were not balanced on floor. We called the warehouse next morning and they told us to bring the chairs in as they would take look at it. We drove half hour and the only option we had was pick the chairs that were on display or they would help us replace parts from the display chairs. We decided to have the parts there were defective and had them replaced. However, the chairs were still not balanced. We requested them to order us those 2 chairs as one of the part on it was obviously defective. Loraine was assisting us as she said "No we cant do that neither you don't get a discount." Another staff named Marcus was just straight up rude and didn't really talk to us but instead had a bad attitude and a nasty look as if he didn't like the fact we were standing there. We stood there for about half hour trying to get this issue resolved and we were also carrying our baby. We just received our dresser yesterday as it came assembled. One of the drawer doesn't really go all way in and is loud when you push it in. So now we are stuck with 2 items that are defective and at time of purchase it was considered "brand new." These people need to learn customer service. I wasn't asking anything for free. If I am paying something for a "brand new" item it better be brand new and working. If I wanted a display or a second hand, I wouldn't had paid over 2500. We went to the location in *** KY.

Their policy to sell items to walk in customers that have been paid for and put on reserve. They are double selling items essentially.
On June 14, 2019 I paid for my furtinue but was told I had to wait a week for everything to be shipped from the warehouse. I recieved a call on June 20, 2019 that everything had arrived and could be delivered to me that day. I recieve my deliver to only discover that my dining table and my daughter's bed frame are missing. I continually tried to contact the store to get answers but just keep getting put on hold, so on Sunday, June 23, 2019, after calling since Thursday I decided to visit the store. Once there I was told they had no more of my daughter's bed frame in stock, and what happen was a customer had walked in the day of my delivery and they sold the bed to them. I was told their policy is sell items on reseverd to walk in customers to make the sell. Now my daughter is out of bed and I'm still waiting for a replacement or a refund a week later.
American Freight will have the dinette set and kids bed available for the customer this week and will provide the customer with a small refund for the inconvenience. American Freight will contact the customer to schedule a convenient drop off time of the missing items.
I went into the Sanford location to buy a coffee table set and dining room table, they did not have it in stock so it got ordered. When I went to go pick them up the dining table had been sold. So I was told they would re order and deliver it for free. A month passed and I called and was told it was there but they would not deliver it for free because it goes through a third party. And because the person who told me I would get the free delivery wasn't there anymore they wouldn't honor that. But it wasn't my fault that they sold a table I had already paid for and they are not willing to make it right, I had arranged a way to pick them up before as I do not have a vehicle that would hold it. It is not right that after their mistake they are not willing to accommodate at all.
