Although the luggage fees are posted in their website they changed it for only the period between December 8th through December 24th and by the time I bought the ticket there was no notice of this So I bought a ticket with a knowledge that I most likely would have to pay $for my first bag and something between $35-per each additional bag, which is within reasonable limits However, paying $for a bag that fit in the cabin and that weighted around 18kg, it is excessive Plus I was charged $in Colombia taxes There is zero willingness from AA to make an effort to compensate the over the limit expense I had to assume I appreciate how well written and kind sound the messages from their customer service personnel but the company does not care at all about their customers And they keep on welcoming me to travel again with them NO, thank you I don't want to take that risk It is clear that they don't have a culture where the client is in an important place They don't care about humans but only about money

To be clear this complaint was filed more than months ago and only after wrestling with them on the phone did I finally get them to agree to refund my tickets Although they caused the issues which made my travel impossible! I won't be flying AA ever again

rejecting this response because: AA closed my case because they feel like they did was "sufficient" although it was contradictory to what they said they would doMy flight was delayed and when I arrived to get on my next flight, it had already leftI had to stay in a hotel and they said they would fully reimburse me, however, they did notSince they partially reimbursed me, they feel that they "resolved" the issue, even though it was not what was initially agreed uponIt's unfair that big companies like AA can push customers aroundSince AA is such a big company, their voice is big, since I'm one small customer, my voice is smallThey probably do this with so many other people as well but due to the size of their company, nothing happensI would appreciate if Revdex.com can help me with this and to stop AA from doing this to people!

I have been shuttled from person to person, hung up on and generally treated poorly by American Airlines and this brings it all back.

I am
rejecting this response because:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is unsatisfactory to me.They have made it clear that they will do nothing more to satisfy me as a customer they are wrong on there part I advise people to not use there service they do not valu there customers and have very bad customer service; since there is nothing more I in my power that I can do according to attorneys the fees the cost of further pursuit out weighs there debt to me I can do nothing but warn others of American airlines service

rejecting this response because: American Airlines put absolutely no thought or care into taking care of me as a customerThey ruined our already short trip when they could have very easily gotten us onto our connecting flight that we watched sit at the gate for over minutes before it even began to taxi away, yet the doors remained shut and not an employee in sight to help usWe were well within the minutes before those doors should have been shutI filed a complaint directly with them when we returned home and they spent less than minutes with their investigation and their responseThere is no way they could have completed a thorough investigation and formulated a response in that short period of time for an incident that happened a few days priorThey were simply dodging accountability with a canned response that they probably send to all customers who they rip offThis is the poorest level of customer service I have ever experiencedI travel a lot for business and I have already made it well known to anyone and everyone on my social media and my business contacts never to use American AirlinesOver 90% of the responses were negative comments about American Airlines so apparently I am not the only customer they have screwed overSeems to be a pattern for them and I will not accept their response until I am given the compensation I deserve for a failed vacation that they were directly responsible for causing

I am rejecting this response because:This matter was not addressed I had a sales representative that was unfamiliar with the issue at hand, that called me and told me that my flight that horrific day, was
cancelled due to the weather! I could not believe after the hell and extra expense paid that they would call and lie to me! The pilot as well as the staff let us know the reason why the flight was cancelled was due to mechanical issues on the airplane This is NOT the consumers fault that American Airlines did not take the necessary precautions to ensure that customer whom paid almost $for a flight from Dallas to New Orleans would have a seamless safe flight My medicine, and baggage was lost, I had to pay for a hotel for a full day that I was unable to use This issue still needs to be addressed!
