The technician let me know by phone that he was running about minutes and then arrived within the expected time frame He was polite, professional and pleasant to have in my home

On time, clean, neat, professional explained what he was doing Never have had a problem with Alaskan Air

This service tech told me that my A/C system coolant was lb low and that I had a coolant leak I was told that it would cost $for a dye test and $to recharge my system before the leak test could madeThis was the 2nd to last day on my service contractI was told the the cost for the dye would be waved if I signed a year contract for approximately $ (My system is years old and it was running great)I bought this system through Home Depot
I decided to get a second opinion from another company and the service tech found that the the coolant level was full and there was no leak He also found that service port caps on the compressor were loose
I am writing this in hope that it will prevent someone from being over charge for unnecessary repairs by this company and not be pressured to sign a year contract

Today William came out to service my month old A/C (purchased from Alaskan Air through Home Depot) as it was leaking like a faucetI live in a 2nd floor condo so when I met him outside I asked how he was doing and he said terribleOK I thought as he came up the stairsI showed him to the closet where the A/C unit was located and leaking which is also my linen closet and where I keep the cat boxI took the doors off for easy access and put them in the bathroomWilliam comes to the closet looks at the pipes and says I have to move the stuff in the bathroom so he can get under the sink, I did and while I was moving the doors and such he said there would be a charge because it's not covered under warranty, he looked and that's not where it's connectedHow much will this cost? $-$depending, I have another idea says William and he goes to his truck comes back with a Home Depot bucket and an air compressorI asked him if he'd like a glass of water (outside) no thanksI went and made food for my hummingbirds and when I was outside hanging the feeder he came out said I'm not coming back up here ma'am, and leftI leaned over the rail and asked how much I owed him and he said (very aggressively) I said I'm NOT going back up there! Have a good day ma'amThis was in a 15-minute time frameBeing a little confused as he didn't communicate anything to me I called and spoke to Lisa at their officeShe said he wrote on the report that my home was a hazard to the technicians and they would not service my A/C anymoreMe: What does that mean? Lisa: You have too many cats! Me: I have two cats! Well we're not going back there because it smells like cat poopMe: So if my month old air conditioner breaks tomorrow my warranty is void? Lisa: Yes it was void todayI explained everything to her and told her and she just kept saying the warranty is void and we're not going back thereI told her that I wanted a copy of the reportShe said she'd send it to meNow #the cat box was clean with the exception of the mat on the tile floor which had been soaked by all the waterI left that there purposefully so he could see how much water was leaking#I'm sorry it's outside and you chose this job William but I am your customer and you're in a customer service business, which means you cannot be rude, aggressive or any other negative#If I was making payments instead of paying up front would your attitude have been a little different? It shouldn't make a difference#I believe I'm due a HUGE apology from William and he needs to not judge people, he never knows what's going on in other peoples lives, I just so happened to lose my Mom not long ago and I used the money she left me to buy a new A/C and she would not have approved of your behavior toward me nor at the assumptions and accusations you put upon me#I will go to another company for service as both Lisa and William have told me to do but I won't go quietlyYou see I work in banquets and have at the same place for almost years and I see many people every single day and just as I recommend my Doctors and other good people to my guests I will highly NOT recommend your company to all these people as wellShame on you Alaskan Home Services, William and LisaSigned a very, very unhappy, dissatisfied ex-customer

Had a/c unit go out and called a couple companies but Alaskan was the quickest to be able to come outThe technician did a great job, found the problem and got it fixed quickTook me outside and explained what he found and did; I found this very professionalWill definitely continue to use their services in the futureThanks again Alaskan

we have called twice and left messages to homeowner to schedule *** and us to meet out there at home with no callback from customer

Rheem AC unit installed March Recent water damage to ceiling below attic noted in May Technician from Alaskan came out May 30, and determined that overflow pan was not at correct angle and recommended remount of air handler from rafters with angle iron and medal straps 2nd Technician from Alaskan agreed with previous diagnosis Also, had AC technician from *** come out and determined this to be issue with installation Alaskan refusing to correct issue with system overflow pan angle installation Have spoken to Gary - *** at Alaskan in *** twice with no results Left messages with owner in Phoenix but have not had a call returned

I purchased and air condition from Alaskan Air Condition Sept 22, 2010, I purchased a years warranty, the 2nd years after I purchased I was told they were no longer in business, I spoke to a rep @ 602.252.7526, she said they sold the business and that they have nothing to do with the issueI asked who was it sold to she hung up

Earl has checked my unit each time since I signed a contract last year He is pleasant, very neat, on time, and honest I do not, however, recommend anyone allow *** (a plumber with Alaskan Air) in their home for he is only interested in selling He said my water softening unit was a piece of junk and should be put in the trash My unit was less than years old at the time and there is nothing wrong with it!!

Had a problem with our heating unit William FWas out the same day, quickly found the problem and discuss our unit with us All my questions were answered and options discussedA VERY positive experience

As always they do a great job Very happy

Been using Alaska Air for over years and have never had a problem that wasn't resolved immediately Their service folks are all great and take time to fully explain situations Very trustworthy

Thanks for a great job All work done in under three hours We are enjoying the new unit

Mike was thorough, professional and knowledgeable He's also a very nice guy He called to let us know his estimated time of arrival, and he actually arrived early Much appreciated

Quick work, professional attitude, helpful in answering questions Will use company again when necessary

The technician, Patrick H***, was first of all very friendly and had a excellent sense of humor
He was knowledgeable, interesting to watch and to listen to
This gentleman is customer-, as well as company-oriented, which is a commendable combination
Very helpful and very keen to answer all questions to the customer's absolute satisfaction

Rip off Business !!!!!!
I was offered an air conditioning tuneup at Home Depot for $I accepted and set it up for next WednesdayLast night when I came home the air conditioner quick workingHome was degrees with pet's in itI asked my wife to call Alaskan Air to see if they could come earlyI assume they were reputable coming from *** ***tTech showed up in a couple of hours which was goodThe tech started at the outside unit and said the compressor was not running and then checked the capacitor which he said needed replacingSaid the cost was $to replaceI checked online and copacitors only cost $18-$I said the price was crazy high and he just said that was the price periodSince my home was hot and so was my wife I said to put it inSo for a $part and thirty minutes to replace it I got charged $On top of that they charged me the $for the tuneupAlso the tech said if my system needed any freon the cost would start at $In checking Angies List charges for this range from $100-$and in some cases $300-$Angies list says charges in the $to $range are clearly ripoffsI spoke to their office and was told you accepted the charge and you owe itPlease stay clear of this ripoff business
