Continue to request cancellation, service is already disconnected how ever I continue to be billed and now I am being sent to collections
I have family that has ADT, for more than years, and I just had my system installedThe process was friendly and enjoyableI did not feel pressured, but instead very informed and treated with patience and respectAs the service that I have is very young, I cannot rate that completely, but three times dealt with customer service, in deciding to get ADT and with billing questions and arrangements, and each time was enjoyableThe only in person interaction was positive as wellThe technology that ADT utilizes, and the knowledge of that technology that ADT has demonstrated, gives me a great confidence in the future dealings that I have with their companyI hope that this remains so for the many years to come
My husband and I are very disappointed with ADT's serviceWe thought we were getting the best there is out there, but their customer service is extremely lackingWe had our system installed after an attempted break in and spent over $2,on equipmentWe opted for the Pulse which is $a month because we liked the idea of being able to secure our home from our phonesIt worked fine while the tech was here, we were able to turn the alarm off and on several timesA few days after we tried to secure our home from our phones again and it will not workWe have tried countless times and it never worksI called ADT and asked if we could have our account changed to just the basic so that we are not paying for a service that does not workThe answer was no but that we could contact the company that services the app and systems to see if it can be fixedI contacted that company and my problem is still not resolvedSo now we are stuck paying $a month for two years for a service that does not workWe are also very disappointed with the tech that installed our systemThe wiring is just completely messed upWhen we try to arm our home under the "Stay" option, it is armed as "Away", and vice versaAlso we asked specifically for our garage window to have a sensor on it, but there is no sensorWe asked him to come back and fix it and he said he would contact us but never didADT is simply not worth the amount of money that they charge
On 7/2/we returned from about a week of vacations and to our consternation found our house brokand burgledI called and *** *** came and registered a caseSubsequently, the insurance company inspected the site and also appointed an adjuster, who estimated the actual value of losses as $26,The insurance company paid us a total of only $2,On 7/3/ADT technician visited our house determined the reason as to why the system did not operateAccording to him the system failed because the motion detector did not respondHe replaced this and detailed ADT report of non-function submitted to us and is availableThe technician further determined through computer analysis that the system remained armed throughout the period from our leaving the house and return despite the break-in.On various calls to ADT for compensation for losses incurred but not paid by insurance has fell on deaf ears.We have been regularly paying ADT, without any fault, for securit

ADT SECURITY CORPORATE has been protecting my family and I since When we 1st purchased our home I contacted ADT SECURITY CORPORATE offices I knew in the beginning to make sure I was setting up service with the ADT SECURITY CORPORATE office and not an ADT AUTHORIZED DEALER which is a sub contractor, you should always look at the small print I'am a very cautious consumer & I make sure I read reviews & do all my research before spending my hard earned moneyADT has responded over the years promptly whenever our alarm has been set off & not disarmed within the seconds they allow bensuring we are not just having a alarmThey practically saved my life and home once when I fell asleep while cooking and my ADT smoke detector went offAfter not answering their multiple calls they dispatched the fire dept to my home whom actually had to break in thru my back door because I was completely in a deep sleepThank You ADT SECURITY CORPORATE for saving my life and homeWe had to replace our back door but I will take that anytime over replacing a life or homeBe careful not to set up with their authorized dealers they will sell you anything just to get make a sell & you will have lots of billing isssuesBe sure you are paying attention to the small print via phone or internet that it is the corporate office of any business of Major Corporation such as ADT SECURITY

Waited days and I get the call this rep was rude pretened to care why I was cancelling and right after I explained hung up and answer no questionsCalled back to speak to manager and phone hung up
Called again and spoke to Craig in corporate customer service who was just as rude as the rest of the team and I start getting heated as Craig is interrupting and antagonizing me through out the conversation with rude remarks, knowing I am already upset

I AGREED TO A YEAR CONTRACT FOR HOME SECURITY WITH ADT IN JUNE OF I WAS NOT PROVIDED WITH A COPY OF MY SIGNED CONTRACT AT THE TIME OF INSTALLATION AND IT NEVER ARRIVED DESPITE SEVERAL REQUESTSMY AGREEMENT SHOULD HAVE EXPIRED JULY OF MY CREDIT CARD CONTINUED TO BE BILLED THROUGH AUGUST OF WHEN IT EXPIREDI HAVE ALREAWDY PUT THIS IN DISPUTE WITH MASTERCARDI WAS FINALY ABLE TO REACH SOMEONE IN THE FRAUD UNIT WHO SENT ME AN AFFIDAVIT OF FORGERY TO COMPLETE AND RETURN WITH MY SIGNATURE NOTARIZEDADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS WERE ALSO REQUESTED AND RETURNED, ALL WERE SENT VIA CERRTIFIED MAILADT IS NOW STATING THE CONTRACT IS VALID WITHOUT MY SIGNATURE AND I RECEIEVED AN INVOICE FOR $ON 4/7/I WAS INTRUCTED BY ADT TO FOLLOW UP WITH DEFENDERS DIRECT IN INDIANAI HAVE DONE SO AND THEY ARE NOT ABLE TO ASSIST ME AND ARE NOT RETURNING MY CALLS
ADT owes me refunds in the amount each even after I called the billing department,they charged my debit account again for $!!
I am suprised that adt a company of that size charged me times especially the 2nd time without my consent,does their CEO knows what the employees are doing to their customers ? I want my money refunded to me Immediately and not in ten business days from the date on the original charge
On October 13, I made a payment over the phone with a customer service representative using my checking accountOn October 24,I was informed by another representative Kira that the payment hasn't been made on the accountEven though I was given a reference number still unable to locate payment, at that moment I was informed to fax over proof that the payment had been draftedI've sent my bank ledger over by email and fax received email confirmation that the documentation had been receivedStill no one has contacted meOn Tuesday November I called bc no one has contacted meThe rep Allen informed me that no one has worked on the case bc no information was received even though I confirmed valid #s and email address

I was charged for a battery, that they had to move the cell signal from the basement to the attic, because a cell tower was shut down in the area
I was without monitoring service for almost a month because there was a FC communication errorI was out on vacation, and when I came back, the FC communication error was still onI called ADT and had a tech look at itHe said there is no communication with the cell tower because they might of gotten rid a cell tower near bySo he had to move the ADT cell box from the basement to the attic which had pre-wiring alreadyHe said there will be a charge for the battery which I can dispute it with customer service to waive itWhen I called today to CSR manager Flor, they said there was no note of itI was without monitoring service for a whole month and they are not willing to credit me for the battery, let alone the monitoring charge

Every so often I receive details that my bill will increaseWhen I first purchased my home in 2007, I knew that I wanted my services with ADTI did research and determined that ADT offered the best security servicesBecause I am the type of customer that takes loyalty very seriously I've never opted to search for another providerIf things are working great, why changeWith the constant increases, but no changes in the service I'm trying to determine why should I stay with a company that does not value my loyaltyI've been a loyal customer, but have not been shown any value for being a loyal customerI won't say that I'm dissatified with my service because it works, however I don't like the fact that increases are sent, but the quality of service does not improve
I'm to the point that I'm researching other alternatives because the prices steadily increase but I have no more than what I had when serv
we called several weeks ago to cancel our service after they determined they could not transfer our business services to our new location but they still charged my cc the transfer fee of and then billed my cc for july when we don't have any of their servicesmultiple calls have been made to the main office and our sales rep and no refund has been issued yet

I told sales rep everything that my current system had, including a connection to my home automation lighting All existing devices were to be connected and no costs to be incurred
Tech (really a sales guy) arrived and immediately drilled a hole (through wallpaper) in our front hall and installed control panel (per ADT procedures)
Technician then reviewed existing system and declared that ADT could not connect to any existing devices Tech reported that over $2,in replacement devices would be required and that a connection to our home automation could not be achieved
ADT hoping we were now captive with panel and holes in our front hall I refused to accept their reversal and sent their technician away Hole remains in our from hall, and I intend to pursue ADT for damages

We have been a ADT paying customer since I have to say we are very unhappy with their poor serviceAround April 10, 2017, I called in to cancel our service because our system is very old and some doesn't even work properly I was on the phone for over hours with this guy who clearly doesn't know what he is doing He offered to upgrade our system for free and clearly states no contract will be involved Another guy came on the phone started to inform us that this guy didn't do it correctly and offered to upgrade for $and with no contract He was very rude We agreed to the offering Few days later the installer call and told us there is orders for us and says that whoever put this order together obvious screw it up big time Not only is that there was a year contract attached!! I was lied to Today I have called to finally cancel this whole service I don't think anyone wants to go
Was a customer with them for yrshad a couple of issues issues without any explanation#- our verbal password was changed from a name to a random selection of numbers and letter, without our consentHad to change it back on separate occasions during an alarm event.#- due to a lack of physical phone line, our home was equipped with a GSMevery power outage the gsm would notify adt and in turn meAfter about years, for some unknown reason, the calls stopped or were delayed by several hoursBegan to lose trust in the efficiency of the company at that point#- Decided to cancel October 4th due to some billing issues (not worth mentioning)The rep on the phone informed me that day notice is required, my service will end on November 4th and no fees or dues will be chargedFast forward to December 08thI received a past due invoice from ADT for my monthly feecalled a rep and was told that my account was cancelled November 30thArgued a bit but remained somewhat calm with no availPaid the bill over the phone with hope to never deal with this crooked company againMy advice is to stay away from ADT security
We called ADT on 9/3/to cancel our service due to the sale of our home and was informed that we do not owe anything & instead have a 400$ credit

I called on 10/06/2:P.MXXX-XXX-XXXX and cancelled my serviceThe rep said it would take days but the account would be cancelled and a refund would be made He also threatened to lock up my equipment so that it could not be used by another provider I told him that the control pad had already been disconnected and that I had purchased the equipment so it is a good thing that he couldn't do thatI did not receive a refund and I received a bill in the mail today 12/17/for the next three months I called customer service and was told that there was no record of that call and they would not refund any unused monies prior to today
Question: why was I threatened when, as I was told today,
they do not even have the capability to lock up equipment and why was that call not showing up on ADT system when all calls are supposedly recorded?
So I have been paying for more than months of service which I cancelled of 10/06/This makes me a very unhappy former customer who would never use ADT services againI previously used ADT services for many years both at home and business and was very satisfiedI changed services because my son in law works for another security companyThis is a very bad experience and a reflection on the integrity of the company and its employees
