I want to upgrade my service I talked with many people and got many different answers on pricing I was told through the usaa member route I could get the equipment I needed to remotely control my system for 67.50, another rep said he never heard that or that his company even had a usaa member division I was told my service would be a month I asked repeatedly what it would be with the usaa member discount and was told was the best they could do As many times as I asked no one could tell me why this discount would not be applied, just that it wouldn't I was told that it was up to the system whether the discount would be applied meaning, I assume, that the computer runs the business side of things there Seems like an odd response Another rep tried to sell me stuff I didnt want, but at a discount I felt as if I was haggling to buy a used car I feel I was treated poorly as a customer and when I said that I would likely be looking for a new company I was told that I certainly could do that...doesn't really project the image of a company that cares about their customers business I have been a customer for over years and I am upset enough that $a month will make the difference As far as a resolution, I want the equipment for 67.50, as I was told, and my 10% usaa discount on monthly service just like I have had for the last 15+ years

I have had horrible experiences with ADT after the sale of my home and moving to a new locationThey were supposed to do a transfer and instead have charged me a cancellation of $I had a year contract and was in my second year, paid yearly and on timeThey have been completely unwilling to revisit the issueI and my fiance have called multiple times and they refuse or give the run aroundHow hard it is it to consider it a transfer?? In July I was selling my home and contacted ADT concerning what to do with the service when I movedI was told that I would be charge $1,for cancelling the serviceI told the individual I didn't want to cancel my service couldn't I transfer it to my new homeHe said no(On ADT's web site they advertise you can move the system when you moveFrustrated I told him to do nothing at this point our house wasn't soldThe next month while looking over my bank account ADT had taken the $1,out of my checkingI called them and my call was given to their "resolution center" where I explain that scerinoI was told I did not have to have my services cancelled! after being in contract with adt I called to transfer services and system from o** home to the other after speaking to the agent about different sensors and how many doors and windows I have I was charged dollars to hold the order and on the date of installation I would be charged dollars I was ok with it got conformation and went along my old system was cancelled and a week later I was charged 530.42dollars for cancellation fees and a overdraft by my bank of dollars I called them and my dollars was refunded and I said what about my overdraft fee that u guys cost me , well ma'am we cant handle that but u can either call, fax, mail, email a copy of your bank statement to the address the provided me and I did mail it in certified mail and got proof they received it here we are week later no response of any sort

I recently contacted ADP's national office to set up their monitoring service, and I was extremely impressed with the person with whom I interacted The customer rep really listened to what I wanted and offered me a great deal When I then met the local installer in the Medford, OR area, I was further impressed with the quality of service and his sincere desire to customize a security package that worked for me Before he left, he ensured that I understood the system and that my equipment needs based on a thorough house inspection were met It was obvious to me throughout this process that not only was I dealing with highly skilled professionals, but also people dedicated to providing great customer service

Horrible! My alarm would go off and NO ONE would call to check on us! I agree with everything everyone else has said!!! BUT WAIT TIL YOU HEAR THIS
The sales rep that they sent into MY HOME was a criminal felon!!!! That sure explains why she lied about prices and NEVER mentioned the year contract not even once!!! I feel completely unsafe now! When I called to tell them they did not believe me and blew me off! I called to terminate the account on March 21stThey tried to sell me annoyingly and repetitively on another alarm system in my new home, and I said no repetitivelyFinally I was told there was an early termination fee, which I expectedThen they charged me for April through my bank account! And they did not send me the termination bill till mid-AprilThen they charged me again for MAY!!!
I called several times and told them they could not charge me for a service I am no longer receivingAnd the representative said I STILL owed them money till July! And I said then why did I pay an early termination fee and that was bull! They absolutely refused to refund the money and I have filed a Revdex.com complaint against themI think I'm going to have to actually go to my bank and stop payment so they don't steal more of my money!
Don't get an alarm system from ADTTheir billing and contract practices are terrible, they have terrible customer service, and steal your money by charging you for services you are not receiving

Unreliable alarm serviceThe smoke detectors where not properly checked when we moved into the house, and turned on out of the blues at am!
We contracted the security services of ADT when we moved into the new house months ago and we supposed alarms, carbon detectors, cameras were checked and ready to work properly We were wrong and found out in the most annoying manner waking up suddenly at 4:am to the disturbing sound of the alarm and smoke detectors in the houseUnfortunately nobody from the company offered to show us how the system worked when we moved, so we couldn't stop the noise, also we didn't know the pw so when we tried to stop the alarm we couldn'tWell we ended up waking up everybody in the house at 4:I called ADT people at 4:and somehow managed to stop the alarm and we settled up an appointment with a technician for the next dayWhat was the surprise when we found out that not only the batteries of smoke detectors were expired but also the machiner

I have been trying to contact the Canadian branch of ADT customer support department for over two monthsI have not been successful to speak with a single agent and have received no responses to my online form submissions requesting a call back

First of all, why has ADT been rated At when 95% of the comments are negative? Was sold a wireless camera system that doesn't work w/brick houses
