I am being billed on my credit card for a contract that has ended and I have tried multiple times to get the company to end the service
We installed an ADT alarm system three years agoThere were no problems until the contract expired and it has been impossible to cancel their billing my credit card and they are threatening to turn me over to collections and report me to the credit bureaus
I just want tthem to stop billing me on a contract that has ended

Avoid at all costsThey have a series of installers who do a very poor job; they lie about a 6-month satisfaction guarantee, the contract is actually with the installers and they will hold you to it after only three days of serviceIf the system performs poorly, customer service is awful - they ping-pong you between the installer and ADTIt took calls and over an hour to get someone sent to review the issueWe've only been in the service since July 27th, it's August 8th and we're reportedly locked into the contractIf we cancel they want to charge us over $1,

I switched over from ADT Security Services to a new provider for two reasons Pricing ADT was to high compared to other security providers ADT was providing inadequate security services poor customer service and faulty equipment

I've been a customer with ADT since and a sales Rep came to my house earlier this year to sign me up for upgraded servicesI was informed that this was a continuation....not a new saleI'm now moving and will not be requiring their services and I'm being told I need to pay the balance ($748.94) on the contract as I've not used the services for yearsI was transferred to a manager who didn?t pick up the phoneThe sales pitch was misleading and since I've been a customer since 2010, I'm not sure how this contract is considered a new contract and how I can be held to a three year contractThe ADT Customer Service Representative stated that if the new residents at my current address assume my contract then I won't be chargedI can't force people to assume a contract and frankly the video monitoring/pulse is not accessible on many occasions

Failure to call PBSO in a timely manner after I informed the dispatcher of a potential life threatening emergency
On June 4, 2016, my ADT alarm sounded because the front door of my house was opened After I informed the ADT dispatcher to call PBSO because my year old daughter was home alone and if an intruder was inb my house, this could be life threatening The dispatcher called me at 6:PM That conversation lasted seconds ADT did not INITIATE a call to PBSO until 6:mi9nutes later

Adt is saying that we signed a contract in April which we did not
We moved into our home in and decided since we are unfamiliar with the area to have an alarm systemWe signed up for years and now we know the neighborhood and wish to turn off the alarm since we are on a fixed incomeWe called adt to cancel and they are saying that my husband signed a new contract in AprilThis is impossible because he doesn't talk to anyone and I handle all the bills and accountsWhen we told them that he wouldn't have signed for anything they changed their story saying that I signedWe have wished to turn this alarm off for over year now therefore we nevertheless would have signed a new contract

I have repeatedly tried to cancel my ADT Security Services since February I have been unable to use the service since it was installed because the motion detectors are set off by my dog that won't stay cagedThe police have refused to come out anytime the detectors go off because of the dog I have talked with ADT numerous times about this and we were unable to resolve the issue so the security system is useless I lost my job in February and so I tried to cancel the service since it was useless anyways They said I couldn't cancel the service On every occasion I have talked with them they always come up with some reason why I can't cancel the service After the last discussion I told them I was not going to pay the bills because I cancelled in February and they refuse to cancel They have since sent the bills to a collection agency I would like the bill dismissed and the service cancelled It is a useless service

ADT did NOT properly transfer my serviceI am seeking to cancel service without cancellation penalty OR ADT can fix the problem and adjust my bill
I lost my home of years-weeks agoI had to move to another residence and I desired to transfer ADT to the new propertyPrior to getting ADT in 2014, my former property was broken into almost twice in a year's timeI decided to get ADT because of them being known as the leader in home securityI spoke to ADT sales representative Solomon *** and told him I wanted to TRANSFER my services from *** *** *** to the new residenceI explained to him that I have the ability to see my home via camera when I am awayI am only home days a week because I work almost a miles away, so I rely heavily on these cameras that I had for my former propertyI also had sensors on all of my doors and windows downstairs; and I wanted the same for the new propertyI believed Solomon was setting up the order for me to be able to utiliz

When signed up, I was told that I would not be penalized if cancelling due to moveThey are refusing to cancel my service and charging cancel fee

If I could give a zero-star review I wouldI called ADT to just get an estimate for a new home that we're moving into and I was harassed and argued with because I wouldn't give my credit or bank account information over the phoneI spoke with *** and he was incredibly rude and argumentativeIt was so incredibly gimmickyHe kept saying we're going to send you an email if you just ignore the email then nothing will happen but in order to give you a quote I need your bank account information or credit card informationHe argued with me saying that I give my credit card info when I book a hotel so why not nowWell because I plan on staying at said hotel, but I have not decided I will use ADT yet and he got angry and rudeI can't believe that conversation just happenedWorst high pressure sales that I have ever experienced

Not honoring repair commitments to system
after I called ADT to give them notification that I would be canceling my system after 12+years that I started to have issues with the system arming and disarming without input from myselfThis seemed very coincidental that the system would start acting up after cancelationI was still on contract when I called in and they sent out a technician to have a look at itThe technician said that the issue was probably the electronics and if it kept happening after powering down the system to call back to have the electronics replaced
When I called back a couple days later as the problem did not go away I was told that because the contract went out of service that they would not come out to fix the problem even though it was reported during my contract period
I have tried to resolve it by talking to a supervisor/manager in the call center named Bonny but am getting no whereThey said all they can do is tell me to power down the systemU

Adt is a scamThey trick you into getting services with themBefore the guy told me about services he was already screwing stuff on the wallI wish I could give no stars

Signed up businesses with ADT, paid $3,for cameras with no results!
I just received a letter from an attorney for ADT and it infuriates me as I have tried to work things out with this companyI signed up my stores years ago and paid $3,($1,per store!) for camerasThe biggest reason I wanted the cameras was to watch at home, on my phone or computer...the sales person said NO PROBLEM! Well it WAS a problem because it would NEVER connect and the cameras were HORRIBLE! I had them out twice to try to adjust, AND got charged for that, but to no availThe cameras were bad, positioned wrong, I was never able to get cameras to work for my phone OR even my computer at home..I called my Rep many many times to be ignored (he already got HIS money!) I am still paying on my one store which has been up for over a year (the contract?), I never receive bills either, it just get taken out of my account every month! I got swindled by this Rep for the company and treated horrible aft

Several weeks ago I received several phone calls from ADT regarding an upgrade to my radio basystem; I was told that an upgrade from 2G to 3G is needed in my homeI explained to each caller from ADT that I was positive that my radio was a 3G radio(I am completely surprised that ADT does not have any idea of what equipment I have in my home)I reluctantly agre

I was charged more per month than my contract stated I would be charged
I signed a contract on March 12, to get ADT Monitoring at a price of $per month for months ADT online records only go back months According to their online records, as of November 2016, I was being charged $65.88/month for months Beginning February 2017, I was charged $65.80/month for months Beginning September 2017, I was charged $73.90/month for four months Beginning January until my cancellation of services, I was charged $for months In total, I was over charged at least $After contacting ADT, they told me that the sales rep was not authorized to give that price and therefore they had to charge the different amount

For such a large company they should provide better training to their customer service for residential security service

Fraudulently added my bank card to EasyPay, charged it after I removed it
I relocated after buying a new homeThis is the second time this company has welcomed themselves to my moneyThey charged me over $to relocateDuring this process I realized that when I called to make the appt, they added my bank card to easypay without my permission or knowledgeI paid what I owed with a credit card and then called to request my bankcard deleted from their systemThe next day, ADT charged my bankcard for $After I'd removed it from their systemI called my bank and marked this charge fraudulent because it's theft at this point

I called ADT in the *** *** ** area on March 3, to cancel my service, and the person on the phone refused to cancel it
MY local ADT refused to cancel my service I called on March 3, 2016, and was transferred to another line I was put on hold for minutes, and no one answered I hung up and called back, and the person I spoke with refused to cancel my service I want the service cancelled as of the date I called, and do not want to be billed for any service after March 3rd I had to close my bank account from which my ADT bill is paid because of ADT's refusal to cancel my service I'm and year old woman, and have never has such horrible service in my life!
