We had ADT install a security system in our new home It was been a complete and utter disaster and it's only been two months! Last week the system which was not set sent an alarm and the sheriff showed up IT WASN'T EVEN SET! I called ADT and was given an excuse that DEFENDER had the contract We are charged $more a month than was promised and we are beyond disgusted I will say we have had Protection One in Seattle for years and they are phenomenal What a shame ADT is such a pathetic mess

ADT cancelled a service appointment without informing me, then rescheduled another appointment without asking or informing me
I scheduled a service appointment with ADT for August 3, The technician never called nor arrived, so I called the company The ADT representative informed me that my appointment was cancelled and rescheduled for August I was never informed that my appointment was cancelled, nor was I asked about rescheduling for a later date I informed the representative that I was unavailable on the 23rd; nonetheless, I still received a confirmation call, for service on August 22nd

I Had ADT for eight years, paid my bill faithfully without ever being lateOn 06/19/we had a house fire, we activated the alarm so that they would call the fire department or the police, they never didWhen the insurance investigator asked for an event log, they informed me that they had not received a signal from my alarm in monthsThey told me that it was my responsibility to monitor my alarm and to make sure that it was sending the signal to them and here I was thinking that I was paying a monthly monitoring fee so that they can monitor my alarm and they claim no responsibility for this mistakeThey lost my signal but apparently not my account since they sent me the bill every month without fail, they took my money and did nothing to earn itI cancelled my account and they refused to reimburse me for the months that I paid and that they failed to provide the service for which they were paidNever again would I do business with them or recommend them to anyoneWhen our lives depended on them, they were not there to protect us, as they claim in their advertisings

Signed service contract with ADT in June, setup auto payment right off the batReceived bill July so I paid thinking auto payment have not startedNovember I received a letter stating that they can not process credit card, I must pay $immediately or my account gets suspendedImmediately called and paid this month worth (63.99/mo contract)December received a statement that I now owe $64.99/moI pulled out my service contract it showed that I am to be billed $63.99/mo, so they are over billingNow I went and do some research and found that ADT automatically pull funds each and every month, even as recently as 12/for this amount they sent out a statement forI called ADT to find out what is going on, their service representative can not figure out their system either and he said he show they have $credit in my account He said he have no authority to fix my account and I must bring my dispute to their dispute email with my supporting documents
So ADT is double billing and double charging for their services, even sends out statement when I have credit in their system
This is ADT corporate billing system problem and not local installation problem, so I am leaving this review on ADT corporate headquarter Revdex.com review

Found this company to be very pushyWanted all my financial information before coming to my house or giving me a quote! I had two other companies I had already gotten quotes from and they did not require any personal financial informationIf this is their business policy it's a very poor oneNo one wants to give out all their financial information prior to even being given any information about the product they are selling you

I signed up for ADT alarm service in ADT states I have a contract for three yearsThe billing, unbeknownst to me was increased every month without my knowledge or consentI called ADT and spoke with a supervisor, Kasey, who told me she would email me a copy of the contractKasey never emailed me the contract, and refused to remove the excessive billing charges from my accountI am extremely upset by these deceptive business practices, and that I have been charged more than the original agreed upon monthly contractual amountI would like the charges that I did not agree to refunded and I would like no more fraudulent charges to my account with themPlease help ADT refuses to correct the issue and will not even provide me a contract that I have allegedly agreed to

Horrible! My alarm would go off and NO ONE would call to check on us! I agree with everything everyone else has said!!! BUT WAIT TIL YOU HEAR THIS
The sales rep that they sent into MY HOME was a criminal felon!!!! That sure explains why she lied about prices and NEVER mentioned the year contract not even once!!! I feel completely unsafe now! When I called to tell them they did not believe me and blew me off! I had to BEG them to investigate this employee's true identityWell, I was right she was a criminalThey let me cancel my contract (which I only had a few months, maybe 4-months?)I asked them to refund the installation fee that I paid which was roughly $and they refused! They sent a felon into my home putting my family at risk and I am not even refunded?????

We had our home broken into some years ago, but today, I once again feel robbed, preyed upon and vulnerable
This time, it is the service we choose for peace of mind that have taken from us: ADT

I have been a customer of ADT Security Service for the past year During this time I have had a problem with one particular sensor failing I have repeatedly asked for help in resolving this problem ADT's solution is to replace the batter Each batter costs $ During this year I have replace the batter in that sensor times All the other sensors are still using the original battery I contacted the VP in charge of this group, when the local people would not help, but he has not replied

I received a collection letter from *** stating that I have an outstanding debt from ADT Security Services
I currently do not have, nor have I ever had ADT Security The only people in my family who have ever had ADT were my deceased parents (***/***n *** I have searched for an addressed to dispute this debt and was not able to find one I have attempted to call today, however they were not able to find an account for me so no one could assist me

I cancelled the service and was billed $though the contract was fulfilled
I moved into a home that had ADT service already in 2/The homeowner and I decided that it would be easier and best to put the service in my name for ease of useI was disappointed to find that I had to pay additional fees and have the system 'replaced' in order to put it in my name, but I compliedI cancelled the service 1/19/because I was moving and the home already had a security system that was paid forI explained this to the representative when I called and was told that I would be billed for a cancellation fee because there was still another year left on the contract! I disagreed, but decided I would dispute the fee when I received the final billing via mailI never received the bill and on 3/8/a total of $was taken out of my checking accountI was shocked and appalled at the fee being charged, I am disappointed as long time customer of ADT that I would even be charged

My complaint is that ADT is charging me and other customers a $additional fee for an ordinance that *** *** *** *** *** *** has charge them a fee of $annually to register our alarm service with the countyADT is now passing this fee which was attend for the alarm companies and not the customer of the service to me and others In additional ADT is adding an additional $as an annual ADT Administration fee and they are only paying the county $5.00.I feel that this is unfair to me and other customersADT is already collecting a fee each month for me for their alarm service.I have spoken to representatives at the *** *** *** *** *** *** and was told by two representatives that this cost of $was for the alarm companies to hold them accountable of who they have as alarm customers and this charge is not for the customers but for the alarm companies and they can't tell these companies how to take this lost to themI have been g

I want to upgrade my service I talked with many people and got many different answers on pricing I was told through the usaa member route I could get the equipment I needed to remotely control my system for 67.50, another rep said he never heard that or that his company even had a usaa member division I was told my service would be a month I asked repeatedly what it would be with the usaa member discount and was told was the best they could do As many times as I asked no one could tell me why this discount would not be applied, just that it wouldn't I was told that it was up to the system whether the discount would be applied meaning, I assume, that the computer runs the business side of things there Seems like an odd response Another rep tried to sell me stuff I didnt want, but at a discount I felt as if I was haggling to buy a used car I feel I was treated poorly as a customer and when I said that I would likely be looking for a new company I was told that I certainly could do that...doesn't really project the image of a company that cares about their customers business I have been a customer for over years and I am upset enough that $a month will make the difference As far as a resolution, I want the equipment for 67.50, as I was told, and my 10% usaa discount on monthly service just like I have had for the last 15+ years
