I wish you didn't have to give a star When I signed up for my security system I was told if I moved the equipment would stay with home and they would put new equipment in new home Well what they decided not to say was that i'd be charged a moving charge and then have to pay for new equipment or i'd have to pay an absurd amount of money to cancel my contractSo, I went with very basic service so I didn't have to pay the cancellation fee Then I got married, moved in with my husband and yet again they want to charge me a lot for new equipment and now i'm being charged $to cancel my contract
This is such a scam!!! Companies should not be able to do this to people Shame on you for taking advantage of people like this

I was told there would be no charge for a replacement CO detector, but received a bill after replacementI rec'd invoice on Apr 18, and on same day phoned and explained that I had been told there wouldn't be a chargeThey said there is, so I told them that wasn't acceptable and they could remove the detectorThey said a manager would have to look into it and call me backThey did not call meI proceeded to call them again on May 14, May 22, May 23, June 20, and June 22, - each time explaining the entire problem and being told a manager would have to call me backI have explained every time I call that no one ever calls me backI have double checked they have my cell number and they do and make notes to call me at that numberOn May they actually put me through to a manager's voice mail where I a left a voice mail and still didn't receive a call backI rec'd a past due notice in the mail on June 20, It's been over months since I first called to dispute the

Canceled service in April I'm still being charged
Service was canceled on April 11, due to death of consumer I called them and was told it could not be canceled without a copy of the death certificate I emailed them a copy along with a note asking them to cancel the service They still have not canceled the service and I'm still being charged for this service I have called multiple times, resent the death certificate and still they continue to charge me The last call I was told it would be canceled and I could expect a refund

ADT on 9/17/signed contract to install wireless sensors for $ ADT is not honoring the contract
On 9/17/my wife completed a contract to install wireless sensors for $ A tentative installation date was schedule in November
The window contractor we were working with was behind schedule so prior to the installation date we notified ADT They said everything is fine and to call when ready
When we called back the 1st week of January to have the sensors installed we were told the contract was cancelled When asked why we were told it was invalid but they would not provide a reason
The contract gives them the ability to cancel but requires ADT to provide notification No notification was provided
During the discussions over several phone calls we have been offered various solutions all requiring increased cost ranging from $to $1,for the service ADT cannot seem to even provide a consistent response

Getting called 3-times a day trying to sell their services I've told them each and every time to take us off their calling list I then call the number back and it asks if we want to be taken off the calling list to hit the # I've done this after calling them back after they have called my house This is very annoying I'm even on the National Do Not Call list Please remedy this as it is a pain to answer the phone and explaining that we do not want the service The latest calls are even up to or p.m

We have called numerous times The services is beyond horrible, it just doesn't work We have spent time calling and are expected to spend more time waiting for a service tech The customer service people are rude and unhelpful The automatic billing doesn't even work Customer service has told us that we can not get out of our contract This is quite possibly the worst service provider that I have ever dealt with The time, energy, money and emotion that I have spent paying for a service that doesn't work is unreasonable and unacceptable

Failure to correct a problem created by ADT
I have had ADT monitoring for many years In October, I discovered, by accident, that my alarm service had been discontinued In calling ADT, I eventually learned that a person named Patrica (I don't know who that is) cancelled my contract in July When my contract was cancelled, and my monitoring was discontinued, ADT gave me no notice of this change I thus went without monitoring, while away from home, for several months When, in October, I learned of the cancellation, I was told that they could reinstate the service I was not told, however, that I would have to commit to a new, long term contract I did, however, receive a confirmation of my order by e-mail Fortunately, I read the entire confirmation, including the small print From that, I learned that I would be commitying to a month contract, all for the sake of correcting ADT's own error When I called to object, they offered a month contract I cannot agr

ADT is not customer friendly at all Our company used them for nearly years until we moved for business reasons We had full intention of continuing usage in our new facility but the company does not service the area we moved to Instead of conducting themselves professionally and allowing us to terminate our service, they are charging us the full amount of monthly fees for the duration of our alleged contract as well as a cancellation fee This company is unrealistic and should be ashamed of themselves People and companies move That's life They are not going to be able to coordinate their moves with when their contract expires Punishing a customer with an unrealistic bill who didn't want to stop service in the first place is no way to get them back in the future, or anyone they may talk to regarding your company ADT has a backward approach to business Unless this changes, I would never recommend them to anyone

Hello I purchased a home in Maricopa, AZ in April of I signed up for an ADT security system I did not pay any money up front, but my monthly bill was $ In March of I notified ADT that I would be moving out of the home on April 17, 2018, and would like the service discontinued I was aware that I had a contract with ADT, and was told that if the new owners of the home would sign on with ADT, I wouldn't have to 'buy out' my contract I arranged with the new owners to have them sign on with ADT I had to contact ADT in June of because the $was still being taken out of my bank account two months after I had moved out At that time, they said, once again, that they would turn off the service I thought the service was shut off on April 17, In July I started getting bills for the $which is apparently what I have left to 'buy out' my contract I called ADT once again to explain that the new owners had said they were signing up with ADT A

I called ADT on 7/5/to cancel service and was told that office was closed, they were unable to cancel and I should call backI then went to their web site to cancel but there's no option for thatI called ADT today to cancelThere's no cancellation optionIt took minutes to cancelPut on hold multiple times, script reading multiple times, trying to upgradie service multiple timesThen when finally cancelled no confirmation number providedThis is a total rip offCustomers are not allowed to cancelThey did provide a fax number *** but I doubt that will work

I moved from one house to another, and had a $108.xx Credit on my old account, (you pay months up front, then they took another payment the day before they closed the account.)Then received a bill showing the Credit and a 'cancellation fee' of $125.xxCalled and was promised it was fixed, but instead of a refund in my account for what they owed me, (yes they took another months out,) they gave me back $1.07, that's right, 1% returnI am calling again, and if this continues I will have the equipment removed from my propertySick and tired of companies trying to take advantage of people

I called adt security services to get my back on my *** credit card I first called feb to cancel my account
A person told me that I would receive back on my credit card
In two weeks tops I have called more time and nothing
