I canceled my policy with bulldog's security (party) and they told me they will take care of it for meI have called to ADT corporation office times since then and they still telling me my policy is NOT cancelled YET!!!!!!
no one is helpful and they do not know what they are doingthey promise you to help you but they never do

ADT lied to me when I canceled my service and billed me incorrectly based on what I was originally told
I canceled my service in April When I canceled my service there were months remaining on my contract I was told that since I sold my home where the service was installed, I would no longer be liable for the remaining portion of the contract On May 17th ADT auto-withdrew a fill month payment from my checking acct for the month of May services, at which time I no longer owned the home or used their service I called ADT regarding the charge and they informed me I now am liable for the remainder of the contractTheir people lied to me and robbed me!
NEVER choose ADTCustomer service is terrible and it seems that nobody knows what they are talking aboutOne agent will tell you one thing and then you will get completely different information from another agentI was promised a new camera for my system that was supposed to be a part of my package to begin with only to find out I got charged $for these items that I should have had during the first installation!! I have been a customer since and my bill has increased almost every year without adding any servicesVery frustrating!!
faulty alarm is always going off
Alarm has gone off multiple times and ADT has not resolved this issueHave ask for a technician to come out and was told on April 5th they could not get here till May 5thThis is a business can not wait a month to receive maintenanceTold them to remove the equipment if they couldn't get here wa told we would be charged dollars to remove itWe have not violated are contract it is paid on time every month ADT is not standing behind there product and would not put us in contact with any management
The balance of my contract was billed with no breakdown and an extra payment was even debitedNo explanation of how it was calculated was given

I decided to sign on with adt protection oneweeks before I moved In august of Called them gave them all my information they said I'd have the equipment within daysWaited a week never got anything, called in and they told me that I had to econtract and sign it through my emailThat they needed a new email address because something was wrong with my orginal emailWe get this fixed, I explained I was moving in days and needed the equipment before I movedThey said it wouldnt be a problem I would get it in timenever got the equipment and moved, they sent the equipment after I moved, fed ex even asked if my neighbor could sign for it without my authorizationI called in and spoke with a manager, she said she would fix this remove my card information and I wouldnt be responsible for a dimeNow weeks later im being charged a $restocking fee
I am here in the Florida Keys My ADT alarm has been saying no service for days since Hurricane Irma, they are blaming the outage on cell phone towers, but all of the towers in the area are up in my area via the www.keysrecovery.com web site All of my employee cell phones work are ( ATT, Verzion, T-Mobile and Sprint) And they want to charge me to come out and hook up to the phone line that never lost service Buy guys , year relationship down the drain
No ADT anymore!!! It is not because of security service, it is because the way ADT charge me! Their payment charging and adjustment is super ridiculous!
When I stop service, they do not provide me a refund automaticallyThey need customer to ask for the money!!! if I don't pay attention to my bill, it seems they will never give me the money back! I request the refund today since I just realize there is no check mailed to me after I requested to stop service for months& they told me I will receive my refund in Decsince there is days hold& 7-business days for processing! How can a company do business like this!!! Super Super terrible!!!
In addition, after I request the refund, I checked my part bill history, I am surprised that I have a invoice charge for Oct 2018, since my service was stopped in Sep I don't understand how ADT did the adjustment, since on the final invoice of Sep, they already charged me for the earlier termination fee I though it is the final invoice and they should refund me whatever shows on that minus balance
Then I questioned them and they said the refund amount is correctThe ADT answer is that they didn't charge me for the Oct, If ADT didn't charge me why it shows an invoice for the whole month of Oct which I don't have any service with them and refund me based on the final balance due of this Oct invoice balance? After I insisting them to go into it, they are saying the adjust credit in Sep contains the charge for Oct, that's why they didn't charge me for Oct I am not exactly sure whether this is correct or not! since from the way they did, it do looks like they charge me for the Oct service! I don't think I will choose ADT anymoreIt is a terrible experience with the billing issue It is the first time, I saw a company stopped the service without providing the refund automatically & billing history record keeps on shows invoice for the non-service month and still insisting everything is correct! I just do hope I will get my refund on the amount ADT said now without loosing more money on that unbelievable invoices!
I received a call from someone today telling me I had been "selected" to be offered a one time chance to get in on this "wonderful bargain" from ADT I tried to explain to her we were not interested at this time She WOULD NOT stop talking over me long enough to even hear what I was sayingShe was RUDE and OBNOXIOUSAfter about three minutes of me trying to say one word, I told her I didn't want to be rude, but she was not listening to meAs I was hanging up the receiver, I heard her say: "You are being rude now."This telephone was installed in my residence YESTERDAYThis is absolutely ridiculousIt will be registered on the do not call list immediatelyI have never had any dealings with ADT whatsoever, and they can rest assured because of this incident, I NEVER will

"Hello*** I hope this inMail isn't to much of an intrusionI was reaching out to you today because I canceled my account today due to the gateway being non functional last night during a robbery next doorI was asked by Law Enforcement and our communities security to provide video footage If I was able tooWhen I logged into pulse.adt Is when I first realized that the cameras had been offline and we're currentlyWhen I woke this morning they were back online and functioning properlyI contacted support today to ask why I was not notified that the cameras were offline and was told that that's not something ADT will monitor for, it will monitor for ADT system but not the cameras because it was not possible to do soThe representative went on to say that we, consumer would first no if we tried logging into the system and we either couldn't or if we could log in we wold see that it was offline as I didUnderstanding that portion I explained that if that's the case ADT can in-fact monitor if surveillance goes down via the web application fairly easyI know I've undoubtedly oversimplified a very complex system you oversee at ADT, I'm only speaking from that little window of monitoring whether a system/service has gone down, offline, etcI explained that I was no longer comfortable keeping ADT knowing this and the representative canceled my accountHe did explain that I am in a year contract so early termination of the contract was roughly $

So essentially people you need to understand, ADT does not report to you if your camera system is downAs this picture shows it is possible http://e.dika.io/ifde ADT does not report or even know if your whole security system has gone offline as the "social media specialist" told me just now that there is nothing showing either my security system or camera system were offlineTo add insult to injury, they respond to very valid questioning of defects of their system with denial of fault on their endI'm writing this review as a current customer which has canceled their contract early and will be terminated Feb4thI will probably end up having to pay the $early cancelation fee now and have to fight this in courtThe unfortunate fact is I'm very able to do this and willing but do you want to deal with a company that you might have to go to court with just to defend your position with valid arguments? Please stay away from ADT and look into other alternatives

Damaged wall during Installation
I got a new ADT system installed on 1/14/During the installation of keypad on wall the technician drilled a hole that went from one side of wall to other side of wallNow other side wall was damaged with a holeWhile I understand mistakes do happen but I would expect ADT to get this fixedInstead ADT local office is asking me to find a contractor to get this wall fixed and they will reimburse meSo ADT expects to make mistakes and I as customer need to find contractor, get estimate, get estimate approved then get the repair done, send the bill to get reimbursedThis is not acceptableI don't have time to deal with thisOn top of that Customer service manager Jade Halls whom I spoke with today was very rude and not ready to hear me
ADT charged an initial permit fee to us for an alarm They did not file it with the city and we incurred fines for it
We bought a home in San Francisco in 11/ During our initial move in we had ADT come out and install a security alarm On that initial installment we paid a $dollar fee (estimate) for a permit to the city of San Francisco We had four alarms within the first six months of having the alarm put in With the initial alarm we had a service call out to ADT and they came out and replaced batteries to the said monitor with faulty alarm We contacted ADT at that point as we recieved a letter from San Francisco city tax collectors on fees for alarms as well as having an unpermitted alarm We paid for the initial alarm permit in 11/ By months later- with multiple phone calls and no resolution to the situation (we had accumulated late fees for these charges), we still have no resolution We called ADT multiple times speaking to multiple m

On June 29, @ 16:the alarm was triggered by someone who entered the house No calls were made out to the contact numbers nor the police When I called half an hour later to find out why, I was unable to preceed since I could not remember my password On July (Canada Dy) at 14:ADT service member called my house and spoke to my husband to inform him of a triggered alarm (days after the fact) The service rep did a test for communication and said there was no communication from the alarm When my husband asked how long this has been going on, the rep had no clue He did say we could fix the problem for $ My husband asked to speak to a service rep to cancel our contract for failing to provide a trusted and reliable service we are paying for According to the contract the client is to be contacted if an alarm is triggered or if a signal fails The fact that the rep who called us coul
*** My alarm has been beeping every seconds , I contacted reliance protection customer service - twice asking for assistance I can not remove the cover on the smoke alarm and called to ask what type of battery do I need once the cover is removed or if the cover can't be removed after great effort, how do I replace the entire smoke alarm? Was sold a wireless camera system that doesn't work w/brick houses
Invoice conf# XXX XXX XXXX In of May ADT installed two wireless cameras *** *** ADT, *** totaling $by credit card & changed a different bill for my "ring" for the door (ring works beautifully) Two weeks later I find out a car on my driveway was broken into and that's how I found out my cameras weren't fully workingWithin that month I had around 4-tech guys come to my house (cameras were changed times) NOW the whole neighborhood knows the cameras are not functioningBy the way when I called & spoke with one of the specialist I believe her name was ***; I was informed "cameras are a luxury & ADT is only obligated to secure my house NOT my driveway" Three stressful months later of the back and forth communication I was informed due to my house being made out of brick, it causes me to have issues with my wireless connections, so they are able to help me out if I pay an additional c

The following is a timeline of events for account XXX-XXX-XXX:
Aug 31st, alarm system installed, we discovered the system wouldn't meet our needsThe door chime was not loud enough when a door was openedAlso, the phone apps as well as the moveable keypad were not allowing us to arm the system
Sept 1st, Michelle informed our Sales rep, Rob *** of the problems and that this system wouldn't meet our needs even if it did workHe said that ADT has another system that would work for us and that he would have a scheduler call us to schedule for sometime between Sept - 8th since we were leaving on vacation Sept 9th
Sept 7th, ADT calls and informs us that a tech would be coming out on Sept 8th, ADT never called to schedule this time and Michelle had to cancel a PT appointment for our son to accommodate

ADT deactivated active smoke detectors in home without my knowledge when activating security systemADT left me without functioning smoke detectors
In January 2016, I signed a contract with ADTI was told at the time of the installation that "everything" was now being monitored by ADTIt turns out that I never had smoke detector monitoringI was duped by the sales rep who installed the systemThe bigger problem is that when ADT sent its authorized dealer to install their security system, they deactivated the smoke alarms that were existing in our homeWe have a brand new house, and we have hard wired smoke detectorsThey were working when we moved in, they were working before ADT mucked with our systemWe know this because if they weren't, we would have never been given the certificate of occupancy necessary for us to move into the houseAnd ADT never told me (during the install or after) that by ADT taking over the security system, they would be deactivating my smoke dete
Slowest reply ever to our demandASked for new key fobs and it took almost a year to actually have someone finally ship the key fobsCan't update wach key fob to its own name; they have to do it and it only can do it with a time that the key fob was used which is a pain in the butt to do!! After years, I actually got to talk to someone that new what she was doingI wish I could remember her name because she really worked hard at my requests and never once left it alone
