I'm an engineer and a foreignerSo when I came to the USA to study, I rented a houseIt was me offered the service of ADTAs I did not know the English language very well, I asked what the payment was likeI was informed that I would pay the first months, I would leave a security deposit of dollars and after months I would pay month to MonthSo, I did that
When I tried to cancel the contract after year, because I'll need to return abroad, it was told me that the contract was years udring and that the fine was more than dollars
This is absurd, because a foreigner with a rented house would never make a year contract, because nothing was ever given to me and the house was already ready(installation)
Clearly I was deceived by not knowing a contract in the English language
I request intervention to proceed with the cancellation and use my security deposit to pay this last month that has not even won the invoice
I called the number and advised I want to cancel automated debits through my bankMy request was refused

I was tricking into assign year contract for ADT serviceIt was not working right, I called and they said they are going to charge me trip feeSo I just do not use itI called a few times and they said I assigned contract and could not cancelWhen the contract end, I have to call one month earlierI am really stuck on the serviceBasically I paid $each month without using itThe contract ending March 9, I called January this year and they still charged me $for early termination feeI never see a service like this
ADT will not honor a contract made with a sales rep who no longer works with the company that we purchased years ago
We purchased a home alarm system which included the installation of the alarm devices plus years of monitoring service, for which we paid the total up front The contract included a "move clause" which our sales rep said we were gaurenteed to move for no additional cost and the existing system sensors would be installed in our new house plus we could use our existing year pre-paid contract at the new house We knew we were moving so we agreed to pay up front The move clause is promised in writing by the sales rep via email when he sent our contract The contract was signed March so we still have a year and a half left to go
The move clause was written as eligible until We are now moving and ADT will not honor the contract We have called them times to discuss and have received little to no explanation or assistanceWe have been hung up
For a year now I've called their corporate office to take of my account and they never returned my call nor did they have Sabrina return my calls
I'm permanently disabled and it makes no sense even if I wasn't what I've dealt with trying to get my account fixed

Beware of adt! They have super aggressive salespeople and will not take no for an answerThey quoted me on the phone so I agreed to pay the 100$ service feeThey came and installed it then told me me my landline was not compatible and it was going to be monthlyI cancelled my contract with them immediatelyWhen they came to take it all down the guy said that my phone line was compatible so I decided to stay with them if it would be monthlyThey have my credit card info and after all that they still are taking out of my accountI called to cancel my contract again and now they say its going to be to cancelThere is so much more I could tell you but typing Is not my thingIn the end I had to cancel my card and I'm going to have to pay to get out of this mess! Not honoring repair commitments to system
after I called ADT to give them notification that I would be canceling my system after 12+years that I started to have issues with the system arming and disarming without input from myselfThis seemed very coincidental that the system would start acting up after cancelationI was still on contract when I called in and they sent out a technician to have a look at itThe technician said that the issue was probably the electronics and if it kept happening after powering down the system to call back to have the electronics replaced
When I called back a couple days later as the problem did not go away I was told that because the contract went out of service that they would not come out to fix the problem even though it was reported during my contract period
I have tried to resolve it by talking to a supervisor/manager in the call center named Bonny but am getting no whereThey said all they can do is tell me to power down the systemU

I was interested in an ADT security system for my home and inquired on-lineI receive a phone call from a sales associate, ***, on 7/10/from telephone # 1(***) ***He asked for my birthdate and last of my SSN during his sales pitch and never mentioned anything about a credit check (I wouldn't have authorized it anyway as I was planning on paying cash)On 7/11/18, my FICO score dropped due to a hard credit inquiry WITHOUT my permission

ADT installer came to home asked me where I wanted my keypad and installed itThen asked for a tour of home Tried to change my ordered from what I had specified in my hour phone call the day before with the customer service repAfter I said I just want the package I discussed when I ordered Charles said well I'm sure they discussed price and I said yes and he said $a month I said no both customer service people Sarah and her manager said $and I showed him my notes from the call He said we can't do it for that price because I didn't have a land line Again I showed him my notes and where they told me it was cellular Charles called his scheduler who said there's nothing they can do I asked about the holes in my wall in my entry way who would repair them? She said she would transfer us to customer care wher Charles spoke with a representative He said he would need to consult with his manager He came back on the phone and asked Charles to take it off speaker Charles then told me he needed to speak with his manager and he went out side to make the call Charles came back in and said my manager said you gave me permission to install the key pad so we don't have to repair your wall, sorry and left I told charles where to put the key pad based on the service package I was sold Charles said before he left that the customer service reps often sell customers stuff that can't be done and it puts installers in a bad position My recommendation to Charles on his next install would be to go over the package first with pricing before drilling holes in someone's brand new home and then leaving the homeowner in a bad position with holes because the they were offered a bogus package This company didn't display good customer service and I hope they replay the hour long order call that I place where cellular was mentioned and the price several times BEWARE!!!
