ADT offered ADT Pulse to keep me as customer but they screwed up the install
At the end of May I cancelled my service with ADT in favor of another supplier of security svcs
On June ADT customer service agreed to upgrade me to ADT Pulse system if I stayed at similar monthly cost as competitor, I agreed and set up install date for July at 8am
On July 3rd installer shows up at 9:00AM andhe tells me that his installation orders are not clearI called customer service and they kept me on hold for everTwo hours later they offered to start install but they would have to come back to finish next week - I could not accept that and be without system for that long - crazy!!
I told customer service to give me someone in charge to resolve this After hours (now 11AM) of nothing I was forced to cancel install as noone was helpful
I took day off to handle this I also cancelled my other service provider option to give ADT another chance and they failed miserably in many

I was forced to pay a cancellation fee after moving when not agreeing to sign a new contract

We signed up with ADT November 2, 2018, mainly because that is what the previous owner usedADT offered a promotion to us that included a ADT Pulse camera doorbell and a remote camera outsideI was please with the camera angle of the ADT Pulse camera I told them don't worry about the remote cameraADT claims they refunded the promotional price of the camera,$

I am being billed for time after I cancelled my service
I was with ADT since November When I signed up, I signed a two year contract After the contract period was over, I decided to stay with them on a month to month basis, without a contract I decided to cancel on May 13, and paid the company for service through May 14, Since that time, I have received numerous harassing calls at all times of the day and harassing mail asking me to pay through June When I called to inquire why, I was told that I had to pay an additional days from the date of cancellation due to my "contract" I told the representative that I had not had a contract for several years but the person insisted that it was ADT's policy I asked them to provide proof that I had signed something agreeing to those terms and they could not provide that to me I politely asked them to stop calling and billing me for charges that I did not owe They are still calling and mailing My custome

Horrible business ethics - willing to screw over customers
This business is full of predators; don't sign a contract with them - they have hidden fees, shady practices, and uncharge everythingWhile a lot of business have "strategic" practices, ADT home security charged an extra month, added fees to bills, were not transparent during conversations about technicalities or practices, and even charged an extra month on cancelation
My family moved away from the area and we called to cancel an accountThey "informed us" upon that call that we were obligated to continue service with them unless we were out of the area which we were...then they would put the contract under suspension and if we were unable to resume service at a different location then they'd cancel it for us without penaltyThey called almost a month later to tell us they were going to charge us for an additional month of service since we cancelled on a specific date following their billing cycle without prior notice, and apparently now don't have any practice in place pertaining to the previous call
We will never use ADT again nor would we ever condone anyone else using such crooksCompletely contract their practices, we've gone back and read the fine prints and nothing there stipulates their resolve to suck money from their customersOverall awful people

The contract period for ADT was 1/26/thru January 2013, per ADT service representative I entered a contract with CPI on 10/13/ There were several subsequent verbal acknowledgements that my monitoring services were being handled by *** However, ADT continued to debit my account for monitoring services until notified by letter of my desire to be reimbursed for these erroneous charges ADT responded that my letter would serve as the cancellation notice, but no monies would be refunded I contend that for nearly years, ADT was charging me for a service that they were not providing The occasions that called for security response were answered by *** not ADT The facts are indisputable and I view ADT's response as unacceptable The total unearned charges amount to approximately $and I would like to be reimbursed

ADT charged me for an additional month of service after canceling
I originally signed on with ADT years ago (contract was for the first years) My bill has gradually gone up and up even though friends and family pay less than I do for the same service from ADT I decided to change to a different alarm service for $/mo as I was was up to $with ADT I tried canceling my service several times last month (3/2017) First call, they required a pass phrase to cancel that I didn't have So they said they would mail it me Said it would arrive before my billing period ended on 4/2/so there wouldn't be a problem It never arrived in my mail After the time has passed they said it would arrive, I called back again to try to cancel They said they would just email me this pass phrase so I could cancel They never did At this point I logged into my account online to see if I could stop billing somehow, I couldn't, but low and behold, found this pass phase after logg

On 04-15-i called adt complaining about the adt pulse system is to loud and that I was having trouble with a man that is stalking in apartment across from me, I did not want him to know when I come and go through the alarm loudness when I set it to away or come in, So I requested to rep name Raynard that I would like to have the quick connect system installed, I explained why and stated to Raynard that the Quick connect was wonderful and that when we put code on away it toot toot and count down silently gives us chance to go out the door before it goes off, Raynard set date on 04-20-16, with tech Daniel which was a differnt tech named Mathew that I complained about a almost year ago I requested do not send mathew, His services was bad now and then, I called complaning about the service have done Mathew done,And superviser set me up with the original guy on 04-21-16, everyone of them assured me that that was the Quick connect alarm security they installed, I called on =05-26-comp

I was led into a year contract with ADTIn order to get out of the contract, they charge you percent of the remaining the contract (practically the full amount)This was not explicitly mentioned to meI spent a lot of money for a service that I never neededADT's cancellation policy is complete disadvantageous to their clientsThe setup of their system took calls an multiple hours to get startedThis company should not have an A+ rating

Adt is saying that we signed a contract in April which we did not
We moved into our home in and decided since we are unfamiliar with the area to have an alarm systemWe signed up for years and now we know the neighborhood and wish to turn off the alarm since we are on a fixed incomeWe called adt to cancel and they are saying that my husband signed a new contract in AprilThis is impossible because he doesn't talk to anyone and I handle all the bills and accountsWhen we told them that he wouldn't have signed for anything they changed their story saying that I signedWe have wished to turn this alarm off for over year now therefore we nevertheless would have signed a new contract

I'm paying for services that I'm not receiving
On February 9, 2016, I made a payment to ADT in the amount of $ This payment covered a five month period (Oct 2015-Feb 2016) of past due payments Now, my account has a zero balance and they are refusing to fix my alarm system and monitor my home because they haven't received an updated contract from me Please beware that I have already paid for services for the month of February In short, I paid service that I'm not receiving
