In [redacted], it is a Mandatory trash service area; after an audit it was confirmed that parcel # [redacted], did not have an active account. Therefore, we created an account in the owner’s name [redacted] effective 07/01/2014; because it is a mandatory service area, the charges are valid.

Per the refund request, it is stated on your January, April and July invoices, you are paying for a subscription service; by paying your invoice, you agree to continue service during the specified time. If you request to cancel your service early, you forfeit your prepayment. Please accept our apologies for the frustration caused by this situation.

Dear Ms. [redacted],
Thank you for taking the time to speak with [redacted] regarding your billing issue. Upon review of your account, you pre-paid $660.00. Upon your initial call in February when you ordered the container, the charges were explained as an estimated total. The fuel & environmental rates may fluctuate with the price of gas, amount of debris and time the container is on site.
The rental charge of the container is $10.00 per day and started on the delivery day 2/25/2016 and ended the day we removed our container 3/2/2016, for a total of seven days.
I sincerely apologize for the frustration caused due to not receiving your invoices. I have attached the three invoices. As previously mentioned an adjustment of $10.56 posted to your account and no further adjustments are due.

Residents in West Virginia are not given credits/adjustments due to weather related service delays. This is done in accordance with the Public Services Commission (which regulates our services/pricing) in the state of WV. The PSC is aware that we may not be able to service due to inclement weather, and we will service all generated waste when we are able to return safely for service. It is for this reason that we do not provide credits.
You are in a mandatory service area which requires your service to remain open.

All I want is for this company to send out Disconnection notices like all the other utility places.
I do NOT want to speak with anyone. I have had a minor stroke. I will ONLY get upset. Talking to me will not rectify the situation. Only sending out notices. Therefore, no I will not return their call and my health is more important.

Fortunately, the credit issued by Waste Management in lieu of the check I was told would be coming, did transfer over to our replacement credit card.It is unfortunate that it took this much time and effort to resolve what should have been a simple issue. As a Realtor, I will not be recommending Waste Management's services to my clients in the future.

I do not consider this resolved until we have continuous trash pickup for 4 weeks in a row, but so far we have had our trash picked up 2 out of the last 3 weeks without issue, so it appears that we're on the right track.
