I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. They didn't call the correct number they called my [redacted] phone which I specifically said to call [redacted] they called [redacted] his voice mail is full and is not working my voice mail only has one messages in it so it couldn't possibly be full. The cooperate office at WM did call and they did leave a message that's how I know this [redacted] is lying as the one and only message in my voicemail was from corporate. They called after hours as well from an unrecognized number. Still unhappy about situation we were not the only house on our block to have the trash bin removed. If you take it at least notify your customer that happened and get one to them ASAP the up to 5 business days is unacceptable. Failure to appropriately notify your customers of a service change is pure laziness. A letter would be suffice. Our neighborhood will be going to city council to attempt to remove waste management from our area this is not the first time WM has failed Spring Valley.[redacted]

exceptional and reliable customer service and have taken the appropriate action to identify the cause and to prevent this experience from occurring in the future.
After researching our internal records, you called multiple times to report we missed your trash on 06/01/17. Our agent advised of the holiday delay, and that you would be serviced on 06/02. Our operations rescheduled your pick for 6/3, however we failed to notify you of the change. When the driver arrived on 06/03 to recover nothing was out. Our operations contacted you while the driver was onsite, and you stated that you didn’t have it out and you would wait until your next service day.
Our agent Tonya spoke to you regarding the service failure, and you stated no one contacted you on 06/03 to advise of the reschedule. You stated, going forward if there are any service issues, you will not be calling Waste Management, and that you will notify the county contract manager. Again, please accept our apologies for the frustration caused by this situation.

After researching our internal records. You contacted us and requested we cancel your account. Our account manager attempted to negotiate your rates and you declined.
[redacted] was in a signed Service Agreement with Waste Management which took effect on October 19, 2012 for twelve (12) months, ending on October 19, 2017.
Per the service agreement, if [redacted] elects to cancel the Agreement early, [redacted] will contractually owe liquidated damages for early termination. Because you were a valued customer, we agreed to cancel your service without early termination penalties.
The account has been canceled effective February 1, 2017. The balance owed on the account is $420.74, which covers the removal of each container plus ancillary charges associated with the removal, which is part of the initial agreement.

The Service Agreement is in a valid renewal term and Waste Management has abided by its terms and conditions. The price increases are as follows; November 19, 2012, October 13, 2013, September 22, 2014, August 16, 2015, and August 15, 2016.
After further consideration of many years, of being a Waste Management customer, we have agreed, not to continue to pursue collection of liquidated damages. However, you will still be responsible for the removal charges and any service’s up until March 06, 2017.
