The annual price increase was applied to your account effective 01/01/15. Each year your account goes through a small increase. Many companies have starting rates for new customers, just like cable, where they have a starting rate for the first year, but then prices increase after the initial year. This is a way for companies gain business; however, in order for companies to stay in business they do have to increase rates. Waste Management may not be the cheapest hauler, but we do provide the best service.
We have appreciated you as a customer and are sorry to see you leave. In good faith we are refunding you the balance which will be mailed to your address within 4-6 weeks from your cancellation date. I entered a request to expedite the refund process.

Upon reviewing your account, you called on 7/7/2015; we gave you the option of having the charge waived by bringing the carts to the local site and you refused and hung up. You then called back and stated you would bring the container to the location; we voided the removal.  Again on the same day you called; to schedule the removal and agreed pay for the removal charge. The removal is scheduled, please allow 5 business days for the removal to take place.  Please accept our apologies for the frustration caused by this situation.

After researching our internal records, there have not been any payments made to the account. In your area, there is no deposit required and after listing to the call the representative did not take any prepayment at the time you setup the service. Can you please provide the proof of payment so that we can research?
 
You called on 11/05/2014; the representative advised you of a credit on the account. I apologize for the wrong information given to you; the credit of $36.01 is to zero out the account so you will not owe anything. Please accept our apologies for the frustration caused by this situation.
