Never buy a VizioHad our TV for 3years 55insmart flat screenThe picture went out and when I contacted Vizio they told me it was the backlight and it is unrepairableSo I'm screwed and have a TV on my wall you can't watch and their solution was to try and sell me another TVThey got me once, but not twiceI will never buy Vizio again and I will tell everyone I know that they suck and don't care when according to the customer representative your backlight burned out prematurely

My wife purchased a Vizio sound bar, S/N szzopcapfrom *** as a Christmas gift and the remote does not workAfter talking to Vizio customer service it was concluded that this is a latent defect know by the companyVizio stated the unit is old stock that was sold by *** and has denied warranty and refused to provide a working remote for the unitAfter the second call the Vizio rep, ** now wants me to do extra running around on their product, at my expense, time and labor with visits to *** I previously had to program the Vizio remote but it still does not workI was told by the Vizio rep that I could buy a remote on the internet at about $This is a very poor customer service on a product with a latent defect in making a handicap senior citizen do extra travel over their defective productFurther the consumer has no way of telling if *** is selling current or old products in new boxes

TV has developed a bright spot in the screen, right above a stand, which suggests a manufacturing issueHowever, because I'm unable to capture an image of it, they refuse to replace the unitIt is also past the return window for the place of purchase (*** ***), so I'm now stuck with a flawed, and undesirable, televisionCustomer service was completely unhelpful in this regard, refusing to do anything because they couldn't see the issueI took several photos, with multiple cameras, along with video, sending them the photos that best represented the issue, though these photos were mediocre at best in showing the issueI was just unable to get a good photo of the problem

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowThis is not an acceptable offerThey even said on the phone that things can happen to a tv during packaging or in shipmentThey might not feel that this is a manufacturing defect by looking at a photo, but whatever has occurred to this tv did not come from any direct impact in this householdThere is not one mark any where on this tvAs I stated to them previously, the tv picture had problems before hand, but was resolved by unplugging the tv and plugging back in Trying to sell me another tv for $less than what I paid is not an offerAs I stated previously, Vizio has a long history of not honoring their warrantiesThey should look online themselves to see how customers feel about themWhen you can't find a review above star, you have a problemIf they don't fix that problem, their success as a company will fail.

I have a vizio Tv (inch), I purchased a refurbished tv through Walmart for over dollarsWithin months the tv lost audio and video, I contacted vizio to find out the unit was outside the ninety day window So I took the tv into a repair facility and they took over a month to ind out that the problem was in the panel (the display)They had changed the Tcon and main mother boards without success, but now they know it's the main panelI can't purchase a panel, because they say they don't sell them, since the panel cost more then the value of the tv
So in over a month of fruitless effort I find that I get no support from the maker and no repair options from any repair facility! This doesn't seem fair or rightThis sissue is a known issue for vizio and they should support a product that they sold!
To be clear, I purchased the tv for over 1,dollars and it's turned into a paperweight in less then ten months, granted its refurbished but that doesn't mean that it should have no value in less then a year!
The customer service people gave me a run around when I first contacted them, toook over a week to find out that it only had a ninety day warranty, and then when I found out that the tv has a know issue that the company was iisuuing a recall for, they say it doesn't meet the criteria
I will never purchase another product from them and will make sure to get all friends and family to avoid them too!

I also am amenable to a resolution with Vizio as soon as possible and to that end have been in contact with one of its representatives
The third party in question is an Authorized Retailer As well my options with the third party in question were hindered due to misinformation that a Vizio Customer Service Representative provided to me I placed a call to *** at 10:this morning (9/17/14) in response to a message that he left me yesterday He was not available He called back to inform me that the only thing they will do is issue a refund for the camera and that's it! This is not acceptable!
I believe that I also deserve a partial refund on each TV because Vizio did not deliver what it promised and what I paid for, which was Smart TVs with Skype Features

So, now I am without a tv for over a month or more I just want my full refund to get another tvThey would not have contacted me if I would not
have made a complaint to the Revdex.com.

Purchased M65-Ctelevision from Amazon on Jan 26, The television was advertised with a HDMI 4K 60Hz input (input 5)That input is faulty and may be effecting many other Vizio televisionsAccording to my web research I am not the only one experiencing the same exact problemWhen connecting 4k 60hz devices running at 4k 60hz the picture will randomly go black for to seconds then return pictureI believe this is a manufacture hardware defect
