Bought a Vizio 70' TV a while back, TV started smoking and sparking in the backCalled in because it was still under warranty (bought at Costco), customer service team said they will replace it with a different model, but sent the same oneCalled in again to get the model that was promised to me during the call, had to go through hoops, but got it ordered, because of a family emergency was not there to receive it, so cancelled the order
Now the replacement did the EXACT same thing, smoking and sparks from the back, so contacted them again, this time the TV was out of warranty and I was happy that they still honored a replacement because of the circumstancesThe TV they replaced does not have audio output, so called in AGAIN, the rep I talked with submitted a replacement, got an email the same day with the confirmation and the model number from the repGot a second email again today with a different order number, and found out that they switched the model of the replacement from what they had committed to, with a lower model (without even informing me, just as before)Called in and the "supervisor" told me he apologizes for the mistake, but nothing can be done, and he is the highest contact I can reach, so, I'm out of options
You need to train your staff about compliance, and know what they can replace for a customer, before you commit to something on the phoneRepeated mistakes, mixed with an attitude is a very bad experience
Also, if your products catch on fire/smoke out of no where, give the customer a review of the diagnostic process, or issue a recall
VERY dissatisfied with VIZIO right now
My mom bought a in smart tv months later it blacked out It was still under warranty so I called to have it replaced, it took a month for them to send out a refurbished tv that did not work either I called again and was given the run around on having this resolved properlyWaited another month fir delivery only to have the delivery late so I sat there for hours that it was scheduled to arfivr for it to take I just wanted my moms monry back yo get a better product instead was given broken promises and rude customer service And my mom waited for a working tv that she spent good money on for months

As I indicated in my reply Visio indicated that they were willing to attempt to rectify the problem on Friday 4/26/at 9:pm eastern standard time by phone but failed to callToday 4/27/I called and spoke to a gentleman who indicated that *** a supervisor made errors documenting my file and no firm ware update could be sentI then spoke to a technical team leader whom I spoke with before and got the same old song and dance that Visio never promised anything and who was very reluctant to take necessary information for the firm ware to be updatedI hope you reopen the complaint since my original problem still exists and Visio is Playing games and has not corrected itThank You, *** ***

I Purchased a E60- E-Theater Display Vizio Smart Cast Inches 4k Smart TV From Walmart in Glenolden Pa on September 29, I was having problems with the TV screen going from a color picture to a black screen with no sound the entire The TV looked unleaved sitting on a flat surface Early July 2017, The TV while on went from a colored picture to a black screen with now sound, while in the middle of a TV show I was attending to deal with the problem but never had the chance toI was following my son to the front door to lock the door behind him as he was attempting to leave for work when we hard a loud crash come from my bedroom my granddaughter was in strapped in her baby seatWe rushed to were the sound came from and found the TV had tipped over trapping the baby underneath the TV and part of the wall We were very concerned about the baby and how this could happen and found that there was a defect in the workmanship underneath the TV a crack in the plastic frame w

I have been lied to numerous timesI was told that my tv was in my home town of bakersfield and given the number to contact the companyI contacted the shipping company and gave them the tracking number and they said they had nothing for meI called Vizio back and explained to them that I was getting frustrated and was suppose to have my tv weeks agoI talked to Vizio employee josh and asked him if I could talk to someone from the executive response teamHe put me on hold and said he talked to his manager Edward and what they could do is call me back within hoursI asked if there was anyone higher in authority to talk to and he told me no this is itI told him how frustrated I was and he didn't seem to careI told him I hope to receive a call back within the hours but I don't expect it because I have been lied to on the status of my tv constantlydays go by and still no callTalked to a representative and they tell me my tv is in my hometown of bakersfield and that I have to call them and schedule an appointmentI don't see whyni should have to contact them, but I did and once again they did not have my tvNever received the call back from VizioI have Vizio televisions in my home and will never purchase another Vizio product because of how poorly this defective tv issue has been.

I had a year old TV go bad (Case number ***)After Talking to the customer service person they agreed to offer me a discount on a new TV After going through the website with the customer service person and looking over the specifications I ended up choosing a M-series 60" K TV I received the new TV about month ago and was trying to setup my new TV but was confused as it did not match the specs on there websiteVizio's website shows that ALL M-series TV's come with smartcast and a tabet remote neither of which my TV hasAfter calling Vizio I find out they sent me a M-series 60" TV instead of the one I had discussed with the customer service repI was passed on to a Manager that kept telling me that I was wrong and only of the M-series models have smartcast and a tablet remoteI informed her I was on the Vizio website and it says ALL M-series came with Smartcast and a tabletI even offered to take a photo and send it to her that's when she tells
The worst product I have ever purchaseI bought a tv December of When I brought it home and plugged it in there were large vertical lines running through itCalled vizio and they replaced it but when it arrived had the same issue finally replaced it again and it worked for months then had the same issueI tried to contact vizio to replace it but they would not exchange itSaying the warranty is based offf the purchase date not the replacement dateLike it was my fault I continued to receive defective products two months into my purchaseInstead they offered a discounted tv at a higher cost than what I can’t purchase at *** ***Product is the worst also the customer service is horribleWorst company everI willl never purchase a vizio product againI would give it no stars but have to pick one to submit this review
