Vivint Solar communicated with the customer to attempt to help them understand their bills, however they did not want to talk and hung up during the callThe assigned specialist immediately reached back out, and the customer hung up againVivint Solar has confirmed that the system is not over
producing based on the utility statements that the customer provided prior to their installWe have confirmed that each panel on the customer's roof produces around kWh per day, not kwhThe solar panels will produce power for the customer's home, and any power that is not consumed, is sent back to the utility gridIf the customer consumes all power produced by the panels and needs additional power, it will come from their Utility providerVivint Solar has advised the customer to contact the Executive Resolutions department if they have any questions with their bill.?
Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:? Vivint offered to meet with me to explain the contract, however why did they not reach out to me prior my elderly father signed the contract(s)Vivint has not provided explanationA meeting was not requiredSales person easily could have explained to me via email.? But all communications with the sales person and Vivint has stopped especially when I asked specific questions and voiced my concerns.Vivint still has not provided reason why the sales person used my father's birth year on the email address that the sales person set up.Vivint still has not provide to me an answer to why the sales person ONLY directed my father to sign a PPA contract.? All other purchase options was not disclosed to my father.Vivint still has not provided an answer to why the sales person would show up to my parents' primary home "unannounced" in the evening to pressure my father to sign a contract.Vivint still has not provided to me the total costs of the now three (3) installed solar systems.Vivint still has not provided an answer to why they would set up an email for my father, knowing my parents DO NOT have a computer and access to a computer.? My parents are computer illiterate.Vivint still has not provided the email password so that I can gain access to the email.? The sales representative stated he provided email information to my father however, I have all paperwork and I have not seen such email password.Vivint stated that they only provide electronic contracts when signing and only provide hard copies after signing.? That explains why my father had no hard copies of contracts to review.? My father was only directed to sign on a cell phone.? Vivint still has not provided an explanation why only the PPA option was ONLY provided to my father.? ? Vivint's INTENT was only to sign my parents to the PPA option (20-year contract that will outlive my parents).Vivint sales tactic is very predatory to obtain my elderly father's signature.Based on my parents' energy consumption, they do not need solar panels.I want these contracts to be cancelled and all (total) to be uninstalled.?
Sincerely,
[redacted]son)?

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: the response provided to you is too briefPlease know that I agree to the the next STEP towards a resolution, but my
complaint has NOT BEEN RESOLVED.? I spoke with Jessica from the Executive Resolutions department twice today.? Her first resolution offer was to compensate me for the savings we lost from the time without out panels.? I explained that a few hundred dollars is not my concern.? My concern is that Vivint Solar is not capable for caring for the well-being of my home or familyI explained again that since they have not honored their part of our contract that it should be terminated, and that I wanted my dealing with Vivint to be permanently behind me.? ? ? ? Jessica then scheduled a meeting with a committee to review my account and my complaint.? That meeting is to take place on Wednesday, 2/21/18.? She has promised to call me back with information by Thursday, 2/22.? I agreed to this action, BUT I cannot know if this plan will result in a solution.? If Vivint remains unwilling to terminate my contract, I will be interested in any further help or guidance that the Revdex.com can offer.? I explained this to Jessica when we spoke last.? ? ? Thank you so much for your time and help with this issue.? I truly appreciated hearing from Vivint that they had heard from you, and as a result they have at least started to respond.? ? ? So at this timeI do not want the Revdex.com to take any action but to KEEP MY COMPLAINT OPEN until I Vivint has met and contacted me on Thursday, 2/22/18.? Again, PLEASE KEEP my complain OPEN!? ?
Sincerely,
