Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I have been working with Derrek E [redacted] and they have finally come out to repair my systemThe technician did not show up for the first appointment which my Husband left work early to be home forNevertheless, they did make it out on a different day to make the repairsHowever, while negotiating a refund for the shortage owed to PG&E I was informed that my system is only designed to cover 71% of my annual usageThis was a shock to me as the agreement we made with Vivint was for a system that would cover 100% of our usage from the year beforeAccording to Derrek they are supposed to provide a system that covers 100% of usage however due to some "electrical constraint" with our home that was not possibleHe was unable to explain what this electrical contstraint was or why this was never disclosed to usWhy would we agree to a system that only covers 71% of our usage? He is working on figuring out what the issue is and why it was never disclosed to usDerrek has been very helpful and in constant communication with me which I appreciate very much but I am not willing to state that the issues have been resolved until we actually have a resolution Sincerely, [redacted]

I was contacted via phone by Vivint SolarThey did not resolve my issuesThey said that the matter would be looked intoThey are still allowing the predatory sales representative to target citizens of my neighborhoodThey did answer questions that I had that were previously wrongfully answered by their sales representativeI am still stuck under their one sided contract Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Sincerely, Scott J [redacted]
Vivint Solar attempted to contact the customer 5/23 and spoke with the customer 5/24. Vivint Solar explained to the customer how estimated billing works, and offered to credit the customer for August and September of 2017 billing statement, when the system was not communicating. The customer has... since declined this offer and will only accept the NEM charges to be paid in full. Vivint Solar explained to the customer the terms of their Power Purchase Agreement. Section 3(a)(i) of the Power Purchase Agreement states: " If You need any such additional energy, then You shall be solely responsible to obtain such energy from the Utility at Your cost. OTHER THAN AS EXPLICITLY SET FORTH ON EXHIBIT B, WE DO NOT WARRANT OR GUARANTEE (i) THE AMOUNT OF ENERGY PRODUCED BY THE SYSTEM FOR ANY PERIOD, (ii) ANY COST SAVINGS, OR (iii) THE EXISTENCE OF OR PRICING ASSOCIATED WITH ANY NET METERING PROGRAM, OR UTILITY OR GOVERNMENT INCENTIVE PROGRAM. UTILITY RATES AND UTILITY RATE STRUCTURES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE. THESE CHANGES CANNOT BE ACCURATELY PREDICTED. PROJECTED SAVINGS FROM YOUR SYSTEM ARE THEREFORE SUBJECT TO CHANGE. "Vivint Solar communicated to the customer that we would like to review the utility bills where the high NEM charges are. Once Vivint Solar receives the utility bills, Vivint Solar will help the customer better understand the NEM Charges and the benefits of having solar.
We are not moving on in the process because of VIVINTThe lender will not fund the loan because of vivints greediness charging dollars for a less than stellar systemThanks to VIVINT this deal is bombing Shows what type of company they really are

Vivint Solar was able to reach out to the customer regarding the complaintWe were able to discuss his billing concernsWe have asked the customer to provide us with his utility bills and so we may be able to look into the rates and tiers within the utility companyVivint Solar and the customer will continue to work together to come to a resolution within the terms of the contract

Once these issues have been resolved I will accept the response. I have worked with this company resolving issues in the past and they talk a good talk, but when it comes to action they are far from responsible. Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Vivint Solar was able to go over the Buyout Agreement with the customer, which serves as the proof of purchase/receiptVivint Solar was also able to send the customer an email containing the "Welcome Packet" which includes the Part Numbers and Manufacture information for the equipment installed on the property
Thank you to the customer for working with me We have come to a resolution and are working with the customer to complete the action plan agreed upon I will continue to monitor the account to ensure that customer remains satisfied during the term of the project
