Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and we are willing...

to wait the 7 days requested by the company to see if the resolution is satisfactory to us.  There is one major sticking point that they are trying to resolve.  We will be satisfied ONLY if that is resolved.
Sincerely,

Vivint Solar called leaving a voicemail and emailed the customer on 11/8/2017 to discuss the billing situation and has adjusted the customer's billing account to reflect accurately in accordance to the customer's production.

We have reached out to the customer regarding their complaint. We will be working with the customer regarding the referral amount that was discussed with them.

This customer's main complaint is based on an apparent misunderstanding of the filing Vivint Solar records in county records to give public notice of Vivint Solar's ownership of the solar energy system.  That filing is not a lien or security interest in the customer's home.  Vivint Solar continues to work with the customer and her attorney in an attempt to clarify this misunderstanding.  Vivint Solar takes all customer complaints seriously and works to address them as expeditiously as possible.  The customer is party to a power purchase agreement with Vivint Solar which can be terminated only under specified conditions, such as an uncured default by the company. This customer has not identified any basis to terminate the agreement. Vivint Solar has fulfilled its duties under the agreement.

Vivint Solar has spoken with the customer and we have scheduled an appointment to address the system issue. Vivint Solar will work with the customer until all system and billing related matters have been resolved.

Vivint Solar will contact the customer within the next 7 days to discuss their complaint via telephone or via email.

Vivint Solar has attempted to contact the customer via telephone and via email on 11/8/17  with no response. Vivint Solar will continue to contact the customer regarding their complaint to discuss a resolution within the terms of the agreement

Vivint Solar remains firm upon the findings of the damage assessment.  The solar panels have been installed on the home 2 years without issue until present day.  We do not believe the solar install caused damage at the home.  The customer has been instructed that she must find a contractor who can provide a written testimony that the solar install did in fact cause the damage at the home.  Vivint Solar will not pre-emptively pull off the solar panels without our customer either paying the removal fee or finding a contractor who can determine fault with the panels still on the roof.  Regarding the billing situation, the customer sent in 2016 and 2017 bills for our analysis, whereas the billing analysis that was submitted to the Revdex.com was based upon 2015 bills.  The KWH rates listed of .10.16, and .22 were pulled directly from recent bills.  Vivint Solar does believe the customer is benefiting from the solar production as she is only paying .15 per KWH, the solar power is helping prevent the customer from being charged for higher tiers of energy.

Vivint Solar has contacted the customer and is currently working to address each of the issues that were presented in the complaint.

Vivint Solar reached out to the customer regarding their complaint on 12/8/16.  Vivint Solar’s technician was able to go out to the home for a damage assessment.  During the damage assessment, Vivint Solar was able to determine the leak was not caused by the solar panel installation. It...

was determined that the leak was coming from the valley section running down the side of the home. Our Vivint Solar technician was able to fix the leak. Vivint Solar confirmed that the customer’s concerns had been resolved and provided the customer with direct contact information should they have any further concerns.

I am rejecting this response because: we have received their resolution and  are currently in negotiation with Vivint at this time.

Vivint Solar contacted the customer on 10/4 and left a voicemail for the customer. Vivint Solar will work with the customer toward a resolution in regard to their billing concerns and help them gain account access.

Vivint Solar will be working with our customer to ensure a satisfactory experience.  Since the fixes completed at the home the system has passed inspections with the city.  A solution for the alleged cell phone issue is being worked out.  An ideal resolution has been offered to our...

customer and we are waiting for customer approval to move forward.

Vivint Solar is continuing to work with the complainant, and are in the process of working towards an agreeable solution.

Vivint Solar has been working with the customer to come to a resolution and will be sending the customer their compensation this week.

There are 21 panels at the home, 7 out of the 21 panels are not operating correctly, the remaining panels however are working correctly.  The solar system is currently producing power, the power being produced is less than the system was designed for because the 7 problem panels.  The billing system will automatically credit the billing account if any overcharges exist, the billing system will check the actual production versus the billed for production once the service call has been completed on 5/23/2017.  A small goodwill compensation offer will be offered to the customer for the inconveniences she has faced regarding the system reliability, this goodwill offer will be offered once all system issues are resolved.  Regarding the radiation, as previously stated, a certified professional is going to need to visit the site and provide a professional analysis. All equipment at the home has undergone strict testing with the proper solar industry authorities.

Vivint Solar has informed the customer that the system will automatically make their credit adjustment, on their next invoice. This will take place on the invoice that will be available July 10, 2016.

Thank you for reaching out to Vivint Solar.  We are a sister company, having started under Vivint Smart Home, that provides solar energy solutions.  We recommend contacting the customer care department for Vivint Smart Home regarding your concerns or visiting their website.  There you...

will be able to enter your concerns.

Revdex.com: Vivint Solar performed a service call on 7/31/17 that got the PV system operating at peak performance. At this time, I would like to thank Jessica Hall of Customer relations, and Electrician, Nick Sherry for his ability to trouble shoot the problem. These two individuals confirmed that I indeed made the right choice in selecting Vivint solar as my solar company. Thanks Jessica, and Nick!!!!!   Sincerly  [redacted]
