Thank you for the opportunity to review this consumer’s situation. I spoke with our Cer.  They stated that the technician found no issues with the sound buzzer.  The consumer stated that the end of cycle signal was too loud and that the lower 3-4 settings didn’t work...

at all.  The tech and our Technical Assistance Group (TAG) didn’t find any issues, but we did add some foam over the buzzer to soften the sound which it did.  The consumer is still not satisfied.  GE will not be sending out another technician in regards to the buzzer.    Please contact me if there are any other questions or if I may be of further assistance.

GE Consumer Relations offered to cover the cost of parts needed for the currently needed repair as well as one-half of the normal labor charge for the job that needs to be done.  The cost of the repair cannot be determined until the unit is inspected. Please contact me if there are any other questions or if I may be of further assistance.

I have agreed to buyback this consumer's washer.  I am just waiting for the consumer to send me a copy of the removed serial tag.

the opportunity to re-review this consumer's situation.  Unfortunately we do not have an authorized servicer in Ms. [redacted]’s area to
repair the washer. The options GE can extend to her due to the unit still being
under the one-year manufacturer’s warranty are as follows:    - (1) She can locate a
local repair company and have the unit repaired and send in the receipt and GE
will issue her a reimbursement for the service charges; or    - (2) She can fax GE a
copy of the purchase receipt [redacted], and also mail in the
serial sticker taken off of the washer along with cut the end of the cord off
(plug) and mail that as well to: [redacted] and GE will be happy to
purchase the washer back and she would be responsible for the proper disposal
of the GE washer.Again, I am
happy to discuss further and she is welcome to give me a call at her
convenience at [redacted] between 8-5:00 EST.Please contact

[redacted] My tenant was without a working stove for over 20 days.  GE sold me a defective stove and then did not repair it as scheduled. I also do not recall anyone from GE calling me to resolve this issue.  I'm out rental income because of GE.  I had to agree to my tenants request for compensation for her and her children to eat out for 20 days at not fault of my own!  I can not legally have my tenant without a stove for over 20 days.  In addition, the stove caught on fire and could have burned my apartment building!
