in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Since my initial contact with the Revdex.com a few weeks ago, this stove has been serviced once at my expense ($plus) The convection oven is currently not working again with the same problem and in need of another serviceThe company said they would send out a technician at their expense which I feel is not addressing the real issue of a faulty and/or defective ignition switchThis will be the fifth time in years and months that the same problem has needed to be fixed (I was actually told this morning by the man I spoke to from the company that it had bee repaired twice in December and not once like I had recalled)At what point does this become a safety issue and when is GE going to recognize this problem? If this were an automobile, it would have already been recalled and we would have been provided with a permanent solution to our problemI'm very disappointed in GE's response to this ongoing issue and feel that the company as whole is not interested in doing what is in the best interest of their customers

The noise this consumer is complaining about is when the
oven heats and cools This has been explained to her by GE Consumer Relations,
by our technician, by me and is also described in the book that came with the
unit She just refuses to accept the answer The unit is
working as designed

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below What ge fails to see is that the appliance caught on fire all by itselfIt does not matter how old the item is it wasn't just a simple failure because it wAs years oldIt was a major safety issueThis just doesn't happen because it was years old it should never have happenedThey keep saying it was years oldDoesn't matter it was not a compressor that failed or motor it was a fire that happened through no fault and this could have been a lot worseThey know this but don't want to admit itEven the tech said he never saw like it.
