I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.I accept the form letter above in responding to this issue via the Revdex.com and will consider the situation resolved; however, I want to make sure it is known that per my conversation with [redacted] (GE) on 12/09/2016 GE still refused to accept responsibility for the unit and "were prepared to service the unit for parts and service." The GE rep who is listed in this response continued to shirk responsibility to the local dealer and make excuses for the service that was provided on the customer care phone call. The primary reason for the Revdex.com complaint was regarding the type of service that GE provided, or did not provide.

Thank-you for the opportunity to review this consumer’s situation.I left a voicemail with the consumer today 2/23/16.  Per Department of Energy (DOE) regulations all washer hot settings have cold water mixed in to reduce the temperature.  This is a government...

regulation that all brands must follow.  I suggested that she adjust her water heater temperature for warmer water and also using high efficiency (HE) laundry detergent will give better results.  Her washer is working as designed and no further action can be taken. The unit in question is beyond the one-year warranty timeframe and covered by a 3rd party service contract.  The contract company has contracted with someone other than GE to repair the unit. I already spoke to GE about this exact solution and that it does not work. It is impossible to get my garage door to operate remotely while the dishwasher is running. Programming the remote also fails. There is also no way to get my remote thermometer to work while the dishwasher is running (it automatically sets up communication when it is turned on). The dishwasher breaks multiple components in my household for 2 hours or more a day. There is no work around. The dishwasher needs to be removed and I want a refund so I can find a dishwasher, like my last GE dishwasher built in the 90s, that does not generate radio interference.Next, GE is going to tell me to get an electrician to look at the problem. Since GE installed the dishwasher, they are welcome to pay an electrician to diagnose the problem. I will not pay an electrician because I know other dishwashers, like my prior 1990s GE dishwasher, do not cause radio/electrical interference.

We have agreed to exchange this consumer's washer.

Thank you for the opportunity to review this consumer’s situation. According to our product engineer team the stains on the interior were caused by food splatter.  The combination of the high Advantium temperature and stainless steel interior can create these types of stains and discoloration.  Ranges and ovens do not have these issues due to their easier to clean enamel coating versus stainless steel.  There is nothing more that can be done to remove these stains.  GE considers this case closed. Please contact me if there are any other questions or if I may be of further assistance. [redacted]

[redacted]   GE repair person came out on July 1, 2016 and put a screw in the washing...

machine.  It did not fix the washer still have the same issue making loud thumping noise and not rinsing the clothes.  They were soaked and soapy.  The washing machine did not flood the floor like all the other times.  This has been the fourth time GE has came out to repair my washer is there some kind of Lemon Law on appliances? I have not had a functioning washer since 9/28/15, I have spent over 3 hours on hold or waiting for someone to get back to me, they send emails with nothing in them literally blank. If [redacted] has some news as to who is fixing the washer and what compensation they are offering for this debacle I am happy to have a dialog via email.
