The reason why Cincinnati Bell response was not acceptable is because of them making excuse off why my service is not at the speed I'm paying forThen they said it's not guaranteed to get the speed I'm paying, that's unacceptableIf I'm paying for a certain speed that's what I wantI do understand that their hardware in many buildens can be bad giving out a bad speed but once again it's up to Cincinnati Bell to fix their connectionsI'm also aware of position , and distance of equipment can affect signalOr to many devices runningEvery body knows your computer can be slow and need a cleaningIf it's not Cincinnati Bell hardware thats causing the problem its none of the he other problems previous listedCincinnati needs to ensure that customers are getting the Internet speed thier paying for if not I believe discounts are in order

RE: CBT Account# ###-###-####, ***
Cincinnati Bell is responding to the rebuttal that you filed with the Revdex.com concerning the $modem fee.
Cincinnati Bell’s goal is to become closer aligned with our competitors*** *** currently charges $per month for a modemThe benefit of paying a monthly fee for the equipment is that you don’t have to worry if the modem breaks or stops working properly, we'll replace it, for no additional feesIf the equipment becomes obsolete in the market, we will also replace it.”
"Cincinnati Bell requires our customers to use the modem provided by Cincinnati BellThis is to ensure you get the speeds we can deliver and also allows us to troubleshoot the modems configured to work on our network.
The modem is property of Cincinnati Bell, and must be returned if you cancel service You are entitled to a modem all you need to do is go the Cincinnati Bell Store and pick up a modem. I apologize for any confusion all of our internet customers pay the $a month
Our website Cincinnatibell.com displays the following terms for the internet:
Advertised Internet price does not include $4.99/momodem equipment feeIf the equipment ever fails, support and / or replacement of your Wireless Networking Modem is included (compared to $5.99/mowith *** *** ***)
Cincinnati Bell feels that we have answered this complaint and consider this complaint closed.
It is never Cincinnati Bell’s intention to upset or frustrate our customers. On behalf of Cincinnati Bell, I apologize if you feel we have done so in this matter

RE: ###-###-####,***
Cincinnati Bell is responding to the complaint that you filed with the Revdex.com concerning
your Internet speeds
I have spoken to our Technical Support Zoomtown manager and found that due to the distance between your home and our Central Office, we are not able to increase your speeds at this time
Per our conversation that took place on June 23rd, we offered to change your account to our Zoomtown Lite pricing which is $per month. We have also added an additional $off promotion for months making the monthly cost $Your promotion will expire on 06-18-16.
A courtesy credit had been approved by the Zoomtown Manager and added to your account in the amount of $This left you with a credit balance of $110.14. Per your request, we will be mailing you a check for that amountPlease allow to business days for the check to arrive
It is never Cincinnati Bells intention to mislead or frustrate our customers. On behalf of Cincinnati Bell, I apologize if you feel we have done so in this matter

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint
Cincinnati Bell has refused to update any available ports to allow for Internet serviceUnfortunately, their rural customers are not worth their time or money to provide even basic InternetThis is unacceptable business practice to leave customers with zero options simply because it doesn't make them the highest returnsVery unsatisfied with Cincinnati Bell.
