*** has no idea the frustration and time their 'known' system error has causedI had a credit balance before this debacle startedI want the credit balance refundedI think *** should throw in some gift cards to *** *** to help with the painThis whole ordeal was started because of a glitch in CinBell's systemOne they have known about and could have flagged to prevent from happeningAs a minimum they could have alerted their CSR to the possibility of this occurrence
I'm wondering how many people actually end up paying these bogus charges to avoid the hassle of trying to get through to CB's inept customer service organization

we are showing all credits received on your account. All promotions are for one year, unless you have a contract in place. Cincinnati Bell does show you are receiving promotional rates off internet service.
09/18/13…Called into Residential Office re: billing issues you were advised promotion ended
09/26/13…New promotion was given for one year; also you received a credit on your account for $***
01/31/14…Adjustment $*** given due to outage; also you reported speed issues. Request month adjusted; Cincinnati Bell denied adjustment due to no issues reported
09/02/14…Power outage caused service issues. Tech came out to location fixed issue, tech unable to perform test due to child sleeping in the room where modem located
09/18/14…Adjustment given for days outage $***
09/30/and 10/03/14…Called into Residential office due to promotion ending, requested same promotion, unable to give advised $*** promotion one year
10/03/14…Order placed to cancel Fioptics TV per your request
10/12/14…Speed issues reported-Tech dispatched to your location
10/28/14…Tech visit upgraded to* gig. Completed install, advised of download/upload speeds ***

They seem to think that they have, however, as clearly stated before, I do not accept the response from Cincinnati Bell. * If not, why? In the initial response to the complaint which was filed on 3-29-2017, I was told "...you should expect this balance to be pulled within the next thirty days at the latest." Now, it is just shy of days later and no action (that I can see) has been takenNow, on 4-25-2017, I am being told that it could take up to days to be removed from my reportThis derogatory mark on my credit report is keeping me from getting a houseI needed this taken care of months ago when I originally contacted Cincinnati Bell to sort out the matterNow, it completely unacceptable for the business to consider the matter resolved by doing exactly what brought me to file a Revdex.com complaint in the first placeOnce again, this matter is NOT considered resolved until I can see that my credit report is clear from anything related to Cincinnati Bell. * Has the company met the agreement they outlined in their response? No they have not

Again the technician did not do any work inside my house. He simply switched lines on the outside of the house as I was told. If you are charging me for a repair then repair it not switch lines on outside of house which is supposed to be covered by your company. Prove to me you did work and I will pay but as I was told the line didn't work so they were using the second line into the house.Regards,*** ***

I reviewed your account and notes and apologize for any issues you have experienced with your video service
According to our records on 1/23/you called into technical support to report a video outagePer the notes on this complaint a dispatch was scheduled for the same evening but you called back shortly after to cancel the repair appointment as you had already exchanged the set top box and service was back up
The next reported issue Cincinnati Bell received was on 8/6/when you called to cancel servicesPer the account notes you sited you the video service wasn’t working and you were going to switch providersAt this time the Retention representative offered to schedule a repair visit and provide a $credit for one month of your video package
Per the notes from the repair visit on Saturday 8/your set top box was swapped out for a different model and service was workingPer our records you also advised services were working on a follow up call on Sunday 8/
It is Cincinnati Bell’s policy to reimburse customers for any reported down timeThe one month adjustment for $has already been applied to your account as a courtesySince no other service issues or outages were reported between January 23rd and August 6th no further adjustments are applicable at this time

First of all I would like to say that absolutely none of what they responded was ever communicated to us in any form or fashionWe were told we could not cancel the contract and never told anything elseThe whole reason we were complaining is because the service they provided was costing us customersNow they are saying that they are the hero's and cancelled the contract and charged us even more for their crappy service and expected us to just pay what ever amount they decided to charge us or be subject to collections. We paid you $for services for the two months, that was more than we should have paid considering how often we were without service and making the numerous phone calls to support where you also tried to charge us for that tooSo NO the amount you charged us is NOT correct nor was it even reasonable or equitable, or justified

to this complaint on 09/08/14: Cincinnati Bell is responding to the complaint that you filed with the Revdex.com concerning the increase on your Cincinnati Bell Wireless Account In reviewing your account I have found that your promotions have expired which increases the bill by $*** a monthOn August 1st a $*** fee was added to all Cincinnati Bell Wireless Accounts to cover the maintenance feeThe maintenance fee I do see where there was an adjustment made to your account for $*** for this current billGoing forward we will not be able to make any further adjustments or be able to honor any more promotions.
All information is the same; you are receiving over $*** promotional off your wireless service each month. Cincinnati Bell Wireless does not have a grandfathered plan to offer. No other credits will be issued on this account

Cincinnati Bell Technical Support called the customer and he was not able to do troubleshooting at that time so he is going to call technical support back when he is available to troubleshoot and resolved the issue
