This is with regards to a previous dispute, original case # ***
I did not understand the nature of this particular dispute process, but after talking to the credit card representative and the merchant (Priceline), I should have filed it as a "non-receipt of services."
Please see the
notes referenced below as stated to the representative in the dispute department for my credit card
The original transaction should have never posted in the amount of $245.00, as the requested level of hotel was not receivedThe reservation was made under my name, *** ***, with a second room under my brother's name, *** ***When it posted, I called and filed a dispute as Priceline did not refund the amount as they said they would once a second reservation was made under *** nameWe never stayed at the hotel that was reserved under my name, but did stay at the other hotel that *** reserved under his name on his credit card with a second room in my name
All of this information can be found documented with Priceline by calling them at ###-###-#### and referencing the the case number ***

I have realized that I made a mistake when I was looking at Priceline's website and searching for a hotel in *** ***There are two areas combined on their "name your own price" map under the area labeled "5"It combines both the "*** ***" area and the "***" areaI did not notice this beforeBecause they combine the two areas on the map the consumer needs to research what hotels are offered in both areas before biddingI did not notice they had combined the two areas and so I did not research properlyit gives a much greater price range and of course the hotels don't show up unless you search each area separatelyWith that being the fact it makes me the one in error, so I will consider this complaint resolved and apologize for filing the complaint and not looking closer.Thank you Revdex.com for you time and effort

I am rejecting this response because: it ignores the face that they describe their star hotels as having a pool included as an ammenityI didn't use a filterI simply looked up your description of a star hotel if a consumer is going to end up hotel where a pool is not offered, you should make that very clear in the contractIt is wrong for you to assume that just because you don't mention pool in the contract, that the consumer will mean that there isn't oneA simple solution in your part would be to say, pleas be advised that the option your are booking for does not have a pool as previously described as an ammenity in our star rated hotel I didn't use this reservationI even called the hotel and explained why I wouldn't be there I did not get what I paid forVery shady the way you try to use the navigational aspect of your site as a way to say star hotels don't have pools listed as an ammenityYou do list it that wayBottom lineyou don't care about anything but your bottom lineYour priority should providing a quality productI feel taken advantage of.
